Vermouth is my favourite drink and this place have all the varieties you could ever want to try. It’s a top spot, a cozy small venue it’s perfect for a night with friends or date night. The staff are delightful and knowledgeable and are always happy to talk about the drinks and help with a decision. On this occasion we used our Cardiff Wine Passports which is a great initiative and I’m so glad they’re involved in it. I’d just like it to be a bit comfier and more atmospheric inside - although then I’d like nd up staying all day/night.

Cosy, trendy little bar, offers something different as part of a night out. Relaxed atmosphere. Drinks mixed to your individual taste. Amazing olives! Reasonable prices too.

Great cocktails, but overbearing bar staff who constantly prod for flattery and an over-lit atmosphere undermine what should be an all together classier and more relaxed experience. Keep the lights low and keep the service unobtrusive!

Innovative and excellent choice of vermouth and other Spanish drinks. Really one of a kind, and well worth leaving London to try. Vermouth, Sherry, Wine, Cheese and all accoutrements all feature. Bravo! and Bravo Cardiff!!

Went here last night with two friends. One had been here before a said it is a must to visit in Cardiff. How right he was. This isn’t just a bar. This is a curated drinking experience with some incredibly knowledgable vermouth nuts. They give you tasters and find ten right vermouth, wine or cocktail for you based on your preferences. A really great experience. Have the cheese and meat board and it’s the perfect accompaniment to your vermouth experience. Highly recommend. Lovely stuff.

We had an amazing experience last night at this gem of a bar in the heart of Cardiff city centre. As first timers we were given a taste of the house wines to establish what sort of flavours we liked and the very knowledgeable staff guided and helped us choose from the huge variety of fabulous vermouths and sherries on offer throughout the evening. We made an evening of it with lovely nibbles to accompany the drink....a great plate of Spanish cheese, olives, pan con tomate and two desserts. The staff were lovely, atmosphere great and prices very reasonable.

Absolutely wonderful place and highly recommend to anyone. Amazing sourced products and such wonderful knowledgeable staff.

Stubbled upon this gem when we were looking for a quick coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer and sampled more. Gentleman behind the bar couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Visited Vermut last night with my sons and daughter in law, who had enjoyed a previous visit and booked a table. They were greeted like old friends by the barman. The bar is small and intimate and the two bar staff ran it with real style and charm. They talk your through your taste preferences, and if you are there a while you go on quite the taste journey through the extensive drinks menu. We had numerous snacks and nibbles, all great quality and value. I totally understand why they wanted to bring us here and I have no doubt we'll be back. It's hard to say what was the best thing, as both drinks and staff were so good. Diolch. Thanks.

Super friendly place. These guys know their stuff and they also make you feel like a long-lost regular. Really enjoyed our visit. We came back a second time the same night. It's not too expensive and there's an amazing range of drinks. They do vermut cocktails too. Excellent place!

Great find as Vermut lovers from our various trips to Spain. Bar staff very friendly and really knowledgeable. Great array of drinks and good accompanying menu descriptions. Looking forward to coming back

Superb little hole in the wall bar, a hidden gem that deserves city wide acknowledgement of its existence - vermouth, wines, Spanish sherries and amontillados that are top draw… ask for Jack and he will help you to ensure you experience the full flavour of Madrid. 👏

Amazing service from Jack. Knowledge on drinks is incredible and really knew his stuff. Try the chorizo and cheese plate. One of Cardiff’s hidden Gems.

This Bar is incredible, such a super friendly welcome, a big shout out to Jack for looking after us so well, we got to taste before hand, the service was exceptional, the winr and food was delicous and took me back to spain, such a super cosy, warm and inviting place! cannot wait to go back !

I have wanted to visit for a while after hearing great things and the visit didn’t disappoint. Small and intimate - a real gem. The passion of the staff for their drinks was really infectious and the Morriña cocktail was delicious as were the tasters. Highly recommend and will return. We had THE best time here! 8 of us Celebrating a friends birthday, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating to us. They are super passionate and knowledgable and the cocktails were amazing! (Especially their version of espresso martini!!) The bar itself, although small - had a fantastic atmosphere, we really did have a great time and will definitely be back. Also, first time trying vermouth and it was soooo good!

I hesitated to write a review of this small bar, as I want to be sure I can get in during my next visit! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging - they obviously take pride in their work. Who would have thought vermouth could be so interesting - there is a huge selection from all over Spain, for differing palates. The staff will give you advice if you can't make your mind up. There is also a great selection of tapas style fish snacks available.The prices re competitive too...
