Absolutely delicious fresh pasta. Highly recommend the parmigiana to start, nduja tagliatelle, carbonara and lasagna.

By far the best Italian restaurant in London. This is truly a hidden gem. My friend, my daughter and I were randomly walking in this market and saw some of the plates while other people were eating and this was the busiest place in the market. We decided to give it a try and what a wonderful experience, service, ambience and food was impressive. The prices even better. I never go twice to the same place while on vacation but I was dying to go back here again and didn’t get the chance. Thank you very very much

Great tasty pasta, good portions and good lunch time deal. My only suggestion to management is to please offer some greens like spinach, tenderstem broccoli or peas to be added on the side or to the pasta dishes. Pasta dishes have hardly any vegetables.

Came in on Sunday with my husband and 2 kids, really enjoyed the food. It was busy but service was great, staff were very attentive and kind. Staff stayed professional during a confrontation with another customer and I was very impressed with the customer service. Will definitely be back!

My first time here! A good menu with a variety of pasta dishes! I had the Tagliatelle with mussels, prawns, tomato and just the right amount of chilli. One of nicest pasta dishes I've had in ages.

Very good pasta, nice sauces and amazing amount of beef in my main. Starters were decent and getting them in the lunch deal meant it was brilliant value for what we got seating is in the market so not the most amazing aptmosphere.

Visited Vermicelli for their "Free Pasta on Tuesdays (August)" offer. Amazing food at a really reasonable price—got mussels for just £8.50, which is super cheap for London these days. All the pasta is freshly made. I’d happily come back!

Tonight, I visited this deceptive restaurant. I ordered a £12 carbonara, but when it came time to pay, the waiter tried to charge me £22. When I asked why there was an extra £10, the waiter said it was a service fee. If you dine at this restaurant, make sure to double-check your bill.

Dinner at Vermincelli was delicious and atmosphere was amazing! Cyprian our waitor was very attentive and made the experience even better :)

We went yesterday with their free Pasta on Tuesdays offer. The food was really nice and loved that they were not in a rush to kick you out - they were busy so everything was a little slower. But tbh it wasn't an issue they were all lovely and the food was amazing. Unfortunately due to living an hour's drive away we may not return, but if they ever open one in West London then we will definitely go again

The food looked great when it came out but unfortunately was pretty bland and could have done with some salt. It was super busy so the service was pretty slow.

Me and my friend absolutely loved our visit - we just wished we had more stomach space for the lovely menu! Absolutely wholeheartedly recommend their buffalo mozzarella and heritage tomatoes and mushroom croquettes! Spoilt for choice really with their pastas too!

I popped here for lunch today (Tuesday) and it was a delightful place. I had the set menu which was a starter, main and drink (can) for £13. I went fie the arancini to start which came on a blue cheese sauce and it was delicious. Up there with the best I’ve had. I then had the tagliatelle which was also very tasty. Had a little kick to it because of the nduja sausage sauce. Service was friendly and efficient albeit I was the only one there but it is the hottest day of the year and the whole market was quiet. I bet this place packs out in the evenings. While I ate a chef was preparing food to the side which added to the atmosphere of my meal which I liked. Really liked the decor too for such a small place. So food was great, I recommend it.

Excellent Italian in midst of Tooting market. The Arancini are as authentic and delicious as you would find in Sicily. Had the nduja pasta which was cooked al dente with a piquante flavour. Again delicious. Service was excellent. Definitely on the list for a revisit for either lunch, which we had on this occasion, or dinner

Was very excited to try this restaurant but it fell short of expectation. My wife ordered the seafood tagliatelle and I ordered the Rigatoni with fennel sausage. Both were bang average. My rigatoni was soooo salty and terribly tasting couldn’t finish it and I always finish a good pasta! My wife’s tagliatelle was just tomato sauces, no herbs or flavour. The truffle burrata for starter was poor too. Overall disappointing experience

The croquettes with gorgonzola cream were excellent!!! The pasta is homemade, the service was welcoming. On the whole a very nice evening.

Really lovely meal on Sunday afternoon, with my wife and our three year old. Mo and the team went the extra mile to make our daughter happy- even dashing out to get some marshmallows when our daughter asked randomly for a babychino with them in… which was entirely unnecessary but really kind. The food was great- good portion size and the carbonara I had was really well balanced.

Love this place! I live in west London and we have made the journey to Tooting multiple times just for this. Moamen is such a great host and serves limoncello on the house! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for good service and good pasta in south London.

My friend and I have just had the best meal here at Vermicelli. We were served by the lovely Moamen who was absolutely fantastic, very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The food was also brilliant - would reallt recommend the sausage and fennel pasta and the tiramisu. We will definitely be back! 😊

We had a fantastic meal at Vermicelli’s. My parents were visiting from Wales and wanted to try something in the market and we were so glad we chose Vermicelli’s. The food was incredible, fresh and tasty and the friendly service really made the night so memorable, particularly Moamen who went above and beyond to ensure we had a brilliant meal. I cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend the restaurant to authentic pasta lovers

Amazing food, and probably the nicest staff I’ve encountered at any restaurant in London. Immediately offered to make me a (very delicious) mocktail when they realised I was pregnant, and we also got a surprise dessert on the house for my birthday. Will definitely be back to try the other pasta dishes because they all looked amazing.

First time here, basic pasta nothing special, Good service, and sensible price 20-30 per head, 2 starter , 2 pasta, and drink, the restaurant in side the topping market, only one I like Burrata tomatoes

Cute and cosy restaurant located in one of the market places in Tooting Broadway. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed and not rushing you to order and really nice and talkative. Good selection of pasta on the menu and they also do lunch time specials as well. Personally I really enjoyed the starter and wish I had ordered a few more things there.

Convinced the reviews are fake because our food was not good at all. The service was good though.. - Bread basket - Very cold. As if the bread had been sitting in a freezer. The crust was actually also really tough. - Buffalo mozzarella with heritage tomatoes, basil & balsamic dressing = Very very cold and not much flavour. - Arancini - tomato and mozzarella on blue cheese sauce - Just tasted weird. There was also barely any mozzarella. - Smoked salmon, prawns & spicy capers pasta - The pasta was too salty and the prawns were tasteless. - Mussels, tiger prawns, chillies and tomato tagliatelle - The mussels tasted off, the pasta was undercooked and definitely not fresh, and the prawns were tough and tasteless.

Food was lovely however took a long time to come out. However would come back to try more of their interesting menu

Really delicious fresh pasta!! The lasagne was probably one of the best i’ve ever had. You do have to wait quite a while to get the food but as it’s made there and fresh it’s worth the wait!

A hidden treasure in the middle of a covered market. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant, this is the one for you. The arancini are delicious and the pasta is to die for. Enjoy!

Just been for lunch. Total gem of a place, the food is absolutely amazing. The starter was arracini and they were just so yummy, main course was tagliatelle with a nduja and mascapone and pickled lemon sauce. Proper sized portions and a soft drink all for the lunchtime deal of £13. If you're passing Tooting drop into the market you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back, it's Champion!

Came across this place while walking around Tooting Market. They had a big selection of pastas that all sounded good. Landed on the fennel sausage and wild broccoli pasta and the porcini and truffle pasta. They were both delicious. Also got to try the ragu arancini and olives which were also tasty.

Was excited to try this pasta restaurant in the market, especially after seeing they had expanded so much (must be doing well). The pasta selection was very good and I did enjoy my beef shin and bone marrow parpadelle, although felt the sauce was a little watery. Would come back again to try some of the other options. Service was fairly quick for a Saturday lunchtime.

Tried the lunchtime special - a pasta main, started and drink for 7.99 Tried the pumpkin gnocchi and arancini with an unlimited supply of parmesan. Ridiculous value.

This was our first visit to the Tooting Market food Hub ,vermicelli was recommended to us and it did not dissapoint. Freshly perfectly cooked pasta with a good varied choice of additions ,meat fish or just veggie, beautifully presented and served by pleasant helpful waiters. A suprisingly good bottle of Gavi accompanied our meal.Friday night was buzzing so booking recommended. Meal for 4 approx £100 for starters and mains , plus drinks.we will definitly return .

Had the lunch set menu (Monday to Friday) for £15 only. Value for money, good portion and fast service. They have quite a big seating area compared to other stalls in the market.

The environment is not the best as it is in a market and the tables are in the middle of the passage, but it is absolutely an experience worth trying for the delicious and fresh pasta they make. Very recommended for lunch for the set menu, starter and a dish for a few Pounds, it is very convenient 💪🏼

Great value lunch set menu. £13 for 2 course and a soft drink. Good portion sizes and authentically made Italian food. The arancini was crispy and gooey on the inside. Some options for vegetarians but doesn’t stray too far from pumpkin and mushroom dishes. The beef ragu was so tender. The pumpkin gnocchi, chewy and creamy.

I didn't enjoy this meal. The Gnocchi isn't Gnocchi! The brushetta was tasty but tiny. It was my first time and I won't be going back.

I decided to come here for lunch, and even though the service and atmosphere was amazing the pasta was a let down. I had ordered the pappardelle beef shin ragu and I was underwhelmed with how low it tasted. It was like the whole thing was watered down with no seasoning (even salt) and the pasta was all clumped together and stiff. I know it was done aldente but how it was cooked made everything like a clump.

We visited Vermicelli as a Mother's Day treat. The food was incredible and of great quality. I did not want my dish to finish. What was even lovelier, was that the staff were very welcoming, friendly and so polite. Don't let the location dissuade you, all attention is paid on the food and service, and yet it has a cosy design. It competes with top London restaurants. I definitely recommend going.

Tooting Market has a great vibe in the evening … busy but not too loud and lots of cool restaurants. This meal was so tasty and great value. We enjoyed everything we had but particularly liked the mushroom croquettes, wild boar ragu and chocolate fondant pudding- the ice cream was so nice! Service was really friendly and we didn’t feel rushed. Will definitely be back!

Party of five. Two of us had the rigatoni with fennel sausage and three of us had the seafood pasta. All plates were delicious. Would definitely go again.

The food in Vermicelli was amazing! The starters and the main did not dissapoint, no room for dessert as we were too full. As the space is a little small, it can get overcrowded, but I can't wait to eat from here again. Great food and good value for money!

We had heard great things about Vermicelli so decided to try it out. We did arrive quite late on a Saturday evening which may have been part of the problem. There were 4 of us so we decided to share 4 mains and a couple of starters. We ordered food at 9pm and the starters didn’t arrive until 9:45pm which was the first issue. Whilst the service was incredibly slow the servers were extremely polite and friendly. The starters were the best part about the meal, we had the arancini and the blue cheese croquettes. The menu looked amazing so we were extremely excited for the mains. The first pasta dish to arrive was the Gorgonzola Gnocchi, which was extremely bland and tasted as though the sauce was a mix of butter, cream and milk, there definitely wasn’t any Gorgonzola in this dish. We then had the burrata, tomato and pesto pasta dish which had a thumb nail of burrata so we had to ask for more. It tasted like a pesto pasta I would cook at home and I am a terrible cook. We then had the beef shirin ragu. The beef was was cooked perfectly but the dish had no sauce and it felt as though the beef was just dumped in with pasta and it didn’t really go together. The last pasta dish saved the mains a little and that was the seared porcini with truffle pesto. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but felt like I had to as we were so disappointed.
