Ordered some piri chicken with rice salad. Was a nice experience as the person serving behind the counter was very nice and polite and cooked the food fresh in front of me..

Cold disgusting. food chips n hash brown have bitter after taste. Oil changed every 3 days. Old hard piece of doner compared to a fresh piece.

These guys deliverys are a joke. I have ordered from here before and was very happy. But my second delivery was a nightmare stricly would never ever order from here again as they were very very rude to me over the phone -10/10

To sum this up i asked for a Strawberry milkshake after 20 minuetes of the girl having a little school reuinin with her friends did she decide to make it, they mixed a Strawberry yazoo milkshake with icecream to make me my milkshake lol what a joke

The wings and milkshakes are suberb but everything else? Absolute joke.

As a customer who orders once a week, I have to say since Veri Peri went under new management the order and portion sizes are ridiculous. I asked for a small salad with my meal and they gave me just lettuce, as before I'd get a mix of cucumber and tomato with the odd and occasional jalapeño. Also, we ordered 2 doner quarter pounder meal, and it only came with 3 slices of thinly sliced meat, as before you'd get much more and your money's worth. AND the old management used to write what item had what inside the box and new management doesn't do that, same with the milkshakes we had to guess which ones where what. Lastly the previous owners where much more apologetic when orders where late, they would ring up and let us know what's going on. Veri peri was something that we looked forward to at the end of the week, it might have taken abit of time but we enjoyed the meal and it was worth the wait. But now? I don't think it's worth the wait anymore we are deeply disappointed and probably won't be ordering from veri peri again. :(

Order was wrong and when corrected it wasn't worth the wait.

Second time ordered, 1st order didn't take note of comments about leaving the bread ROLL separate as daughter is gluten free. This time put note in comments in capital letters about bread ROLL being kept separate from chicken and no CHEESE on burger also asked for mild kebab but was hot as I ordered hot 1st time and found it too hot. Restaurant did not take no notice of this ,so ruined dinner twice is enough for us won't be ordering again

food took 2 hours to turn up. Driver didn't know where I was located. Waited an extra 25 minutes for fresh wings. Passed hungry when it arrived. Wasn't impressed.

My food arrived an hour and half after i ordered it and it all arrived cold. Also the mozarella sticks arrived overdone so were too hard and had hardly any cheese in it. i wouldnt recommend this place, they always deliver late but i like their chocolate bar milkshakes which is the only good thing about this place

Food was tasty and fresh as usual shakes are so good. Just ask for more sauce on the chicken if you like it juicy will always order for as long as they stay this good

First time ordering from Veri Peri after hearing good things about them from friends. Half pounder meals were delicious and ridiculously good value for money. Will definitely order from here again soon.

I ordered a mild chicken burger and got a spicy one so i couldnt eat it. Took an hour for the food to come. Chips were cold and the milkshake was too thick and icy. Not happy and i normally eat here and have no problems

My chicken and rice was very nice but the corn on the cob tasted like it had been sitting there for a few days as it was so dry and not chewable.

Took two hours for food to arrive... Although food is always great and worth the wait... This wait was far too long. Just wish the people on the phone were honest about how long it would take. Rather than keep on saying 5-10 minutes and 2 hours later it arrives.

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews, however I was surprised to how good the food was and how quick it was delivered (30 mins) and I'm so happy I can order a delivery and also have milkshakes! I definitely will be ordering from here again soon. Only one thing can be improved and that's more toppings for the waffles :)

By far the worst food I have had!! I specifically asked for the chicken to be saucy instead I got the most driest chicken my children couldn't eat it !!

DO NOT ORDER from this takeaway. Not only it took around 2 hours to deliver (takes 5 minutes from restaurant to my house with a car) the food quality was absolutely disgusting.

We waited an hour and 20 mins for our food to arrive, when we tried calling to fix the problem the person on the phone wasn't being understanding of the situation. He then offered a voucher as an apology and hasn't sent it. Overall we received terrible service, despite this the food taste was ok. Won't be ordering from here again.

I was a bit worried about ordering after reading the reviews BUT to my surprise my order came really early, and everything I ordered was there. The chicken in my wrap was a bit cold, and the chicken nachos had too much cheese for my liking. I think I'd still order again though because the service was fab and the oreo milkshake was amazing!!

I specified on the timing to arrive at 8pm it seems they didnt even want to take it into consideration they brang it nearly 40 minutes early. As a takeaway it would be better to add dips rather than to add them. I asked for bbq chicken but it seems there was rarely any bbq sauce on the chicken.

Meal was hot , tasty and came on time , I thought I order a drink but seems like I didn't so I called and ask about it and they were pleasant ..... The plus side was the delivery man ..... Worse takeaway.. Always takes ages and food is always cold and soggy.. Delivery person can't speak English and misses out items all the time.. Gave this place a few chances but they just get worse and worse and never want to cooperate when you call them up calmly about complaints

The order was placed two hours before delivery and after an hour I was told it's just being made should be with me in 15 minutes. Also they had lied on the website and said it was delivered when they hadn't delivered it. The food was burnt and felt very cheated. No matter how good their food is there service is a zero star

Used to order from veri peri atleast 3times a week, but one meal was horrible, I explained to the owner that the meal was bad and he said he'll give me a discount on our next order, after 2 months or so i decided to give it another try.. What a mistake that was! Food wasn't great, took an hour and half to make at £13 order, I can honestly say we will not return. 90 mins to make a few burgers ? I myself work in a restaurant, and my staff are able to make a variety of dishes worth £70 within an hour so I am very disappointed with the service. The owner is also very disturbing as he had complained and swore about his staff to me, I find it unacceptable to be swearing about staff and internal matters to myself who is a customer and not a friend.

After a discussion with the restaurant and then disputing the items being missing they agreed to send the outstanding food however instead of 4 full seekh kebabs that I paid for I got two, chopped in half. Absolutely terrible experience. Won't be ordering from here ever again.

I've always been a regular customer at veri peri but this was a joke. My food turned up and my chips tasted like they were reheated rather than fresh, my "bbq" chicken didnt even have bbq sauce on it and the 3 portions of rice I had ordered tasted like a bag of seasoning had exploded in the pot. Not impressed AT ALL. Then when I asked to get a fresh portion if chips to be delivered I was told that the shop was busy so a discount would be added to my next order... Because that was going to fill my families stomach 👌👌👌

This food was amazingly good!! The Oreo shake I had was orgasmic! On top of that the staff were so friendly and welcoming it's a delight to purchase food here. I've tasted most of the menu and everything is so flavoursome and presented perfectly. I guarantee that u won't be disappointed 💯%

I've ordered from them twice now. - Quality: I found their wraps and milkshakes fantastic; the wings and pieces extremely dry. - Service: the first time, they forgot my milkshake and tried to charge me extra for delivery. (The website has since been amended to forewarn of that charge.) Second time, all good. - Delivery time - about 1hr 10mins each time.
