Upper Crust in North Lanarkshire

Always loved the food here and thought it was reasonably priced but went on Sat 24th Aug and was charged £15 for a breakfast, chicken ferno (no chips) and 2 drinks. I queried the price of the breakfast and was told it was £7. Used to get a buttered roll and hot drink with a breakfast, but got neither. The ferno without chips must have cost £5 which is a massive price increase. I certainly won't be rushing back.

Prices have went up food quality has went down over the years and rarely do they get the whole order right. Funny with prices too got the same thing two days in a row and was charged different prices. Won't be going back for sure.

First time customer. safe to say i WONT BE BACK 🤬 Just spent £9 on a freezing cold full breakfast… arrived 1 hour 10mins after ordering when i stay 3 streets away…The potato scone was undercooked…the egg was overcooked…the bacon looked as though it had been yesterdays and heated up… Warm bread served as TOAST!!! and a MULTI-PACK can irn bru I’ll stick to COCO CHINOS

Not much food in the sandwiches didn’t fill me up to expensive

Served by a lovely lady Twinkle who was so polite and gave me recommendations on what is tasty and she was correct! Such a sweet lady

Akshaya is a very helpful and friendly member of staff and would come back because of this. Our Baguettes were delicious and Akshaya quickly heated one up for us.

Stopped here for a baguette and coffee while I was waiting for a train, the counter was so well presented and there was a great choice of food to choose from. The staff were very friendly and service was fast

Akshaya served me and she was all around lovely. Even though she was tidying up, she took time to speak to me and make sure I had my order before my train left. Good experience, great customer service.

Just perfect for a quick bite on the way to the train. The staff are the best and on this particular day Akshaya was just fantastic, welcoming, very thoughtful (heated the baguette) and let me know it would only take 40 seconds, which was very reassuring to know as I was massively hungry but dashing for the train. It‘s these small acts of empathy that make me feel loyal to this Upper Crust location (plus I love the seating area in front that‘s so inviting).

Amazing food and taste. I love the services they provide at upper crust. They make us feel comfortable even at such crowded area and Akshaya has been serving me most of the time and it’s great that she has her smile on whenever I see her at upper crust and that’s a wonderful thing to show the gesture towards your costumers.

Love this place, always absolutely mobbed though, for good reason. Often takes around 10/15 calls on a saturday to get through to order , but always worth it in the end, just always make sure to pre order here as you can stand waiting for ages if you dont. Staff are always rushed off their feet which must be hard. Love the food here though the chicken ferno is my fav as well as the popcorn chicken. Prices are fab also, defo would recommend, just not if you are in a rush lol. Would be great if they did deliveries and would save it being so busy, defo something to consider

Would be useful to advertise this. And maybe work on how your staff speak to people. Place has gone so far downhill.

Called today to place an order to collect, gave our orders that was fine. Went into collect and the older woman that works there the one with the diamond hat on(diamonds were all falling off which makes me concerned as I wouldn’t like to think they were in customers food). 3 of us ordered on the phone so when we went in the woman went over what we had ordered and we told her the order wasn’t right which is fair enough so told her it was incorrect and that she must have misheard - to which she replied “don’t get me started today” with an attitude. Huffed and puffed and said it must have been us that said the order wrong talking to us like rubbish,which wasn’t even the case and even if it was what’s the problem? She then proceeded to call us “wee lassies” this isn’t the first time we have had issues with the same woman on the way in the car we actually discussed how we hoped it wouldn’t be her serving today. We have now left without food

Visited this deli a few times now & have never been disappointed with the quality of food served or the price. Customer service & attention to detail of order fantastic Foods fresh every time & warm Always busy & that speaks volumes of how good a deli this is. Best deli in Motherwell bar none.

Terrible customer service , over charged , got my order wrong and when asked for the right order I got ignored for a phone call. When I received my second order it was not what I had asked for again

Upper Crust is located near Motherwell FC football stadium and is well worthy of a visit if you are in the vicinity. I highly recommend their hot breakfasts, Chicken fernos and Salad boxes. Upper Crust can get busy at times which is due to the high quality of the food served. Motherwell FC players who are also regular patrons of this establishment. Highly Recommended

Wir waren mit ein paar Freunden im Upper Crust. Das Essen ist nicht außergewöhnlich, aber für die Preise absolut in Ordnung. Getränke und Service ebenfalls top.

Este lugar está siempre atestado ya que vende primera clase sándwiches y comidas para llevar que tienen dos tiendas en tandem que venden comida caliente y fría merece la pena un desvío

Was feeling hungry so kids suggested that I go here for a sandwich. ...what can I say food was delicious and great value for money.....kids eat all there's too..............For a sandwich it's a must visit

The time that it took to serve the food was 40 minutes, totally unacceptable for a fast food shop the serves people nipping out from work. Took me 5 minutes to get there at 12pm 40 minutes wait time and 5 minutes back to work, where's the time to eat... ended up late, frustrated and the food wasn't that good... wont be back.

come here occasionally for a nice lunch the sandwiches are so delicious and fresh, very reasonable for the prices also

If you are looking for a quick snack then this is ideal hot or cold. This is where my daughter loves to go to get her lunch and drags me too or makes me go pick it up as she loves there Chicken Infernos and now has the full family loving them too and they have a lot more food on offer that is also lovely
