Twice The Spice Takeaway in Falkirk

Ordered food from the buffet menu for a house party of 50 guests. Everything was freshly cooked, delivered piping hot. Veg& chicken pakoras, kormas, tikas and curries along with rice, chips, nans and fabulous pizzas. Guests all loved it. The way to go they said.

Food was very tasty. Customer service was great, staff were friendly and my food was made quickly. Definitely recommend

I dont recommend anything this place used to be decent and it's barkin now , I got a mixed kebab and it consisted of a pile of donner kebab 3 bits of lamb and some sort of chicken with a garlicy herb it was disgusting there isn't even any mushrooms peppers or onions in this anymore it was a pile of dry foul tasting mess and went in the bin because there was also hair all over it like it had fell on the floor.

Ordered a delivery order for a function and it arrived over two hours late with no communication or reasoning provided as to why. Had to call multiple times to follow up at which stage it was all but confirmed they’d not started the order as expected. They then stopped answering their phone and we had ordered from elsewhere by the time the food arrived which was an absolute hassle. The food was good, but the customer service and communication was poor. An apology was only offered following a visit to the store the day after the situation to offer the feedback. I would not recommend ordering for delivery from here if you’re catering on a time crunch.

Went here today for just chips with salt. Got the wrong order twice then when getting the right order- got given a disgusted look off the staff and served the saltiest chips I have ever tasted. Both me and my boyfriend’s mouth went sour as the chips were hardly potatoes, just a mouthful of higher blood pressures. I won’t be surprised if we both have heart attacks tonight as the amount of salt on these chips was unbelievable. The service of this place is fast but unworthy of any pricing. We will not be back, either due to death of strokes or sole disappointment.

The foods good but iv just ordered the 16 inch pizza and 2 Donner kebabs and 2 small chips deal I get this often and they have just phoned me and told me I can't getting the pizza I want and they are saying we can't get our money back unless we contact another company that might not even give out money back

We have been coming here for years ..... But something has changed. Ordered a pizza deal to collect at 5.15pm. when I arrived the pizzas weren't even in the oven yet. After waiting another 20 minutes we watched as the guy threw the tub of garlic sauce into the box in to of the pizza. 😡 I had noticed the staff were different and the lady confirmed the shop had changed hands. None of the staff looked happy. The donnatella pizza was tasteless and had so much cheese on it, it was oily and rubbery. Oh, and we had to peel the garlic sauce tub off the pizza first. The chicken pizza was also smothered in cheese and oily but the chicken was dry. So very disappointed!!!!! We definitely won't be back.

Always had great service from this takeaway, a few weeks ago on a Sunday 5pm phoned and ordered a delivery. Phone again at 7pm they were busy and order was just being made , not a problem, 8pm arrives and my neighbour chaps my door handing me our delivery , I said ohh did they deliver to you by mistake? No they left it on the doorstep, I then phone them back and told them what had happened , as I never heard any1 at the door , food was warm not hot , was asked if wanting another order sent out , I said no as this was now 8.30pm and wasn't prepared to wait hours again , was told because we were good customers that we would get a discount on next order , just phoned there to place a order enquired about the discount that we were owed , to be told ohh there is nothing against your name to let us know , well Twice the spice you have lost a valued customer.

Ordered a quarter pounder cheeseburger meal online for delivery. Was told 40 minutes and 58 minutes later my food arrived. Cold! It was as though it had been left outside for 10 minutes, the cheese slice on the burger was still fully intact. 1st time using this place and will NEVER use again. Terrible.

Been ordering here for almost a year definitely the best Indian takeaway around. Great service food is amazing. PIZZAS KEBABS & BURGERS TOO .

Best Chasni, poppadoms and mango chutney. You get a lot for your money. The chasni is literally mouth watering!

Found an amazing place to have mixed kebab and tikka burger but I'd never go there when they just opened at 4 PM as most probably you'll get left over stuff mixed in your kebab box. I phoned them, The owner tried to confirm from the chef if he mixed any lamb tikka or kebab thingy from the past day but he definitely mixed the left over tikka/kebab as it wasn't the first time i had their fresh mixed kebab.

Been ordering from here for years. Food is about the best Indian food in the area and service has always been good. Note that this is a take-away only, not a restaurant.

We have ordered multiple times from here and we LOVE IT! We get the munchy box and it has sooooo much food, and everything in it is absolutely perfect! Couldn’t be more happy with the food quality, portion and price. Would highly recommend!!!!

This place used to be great. I ordered a chicken kebab and a lamb kebab, with a portion of chips. We like the chicken, lamb, salad, and sauces kept separate, that way the bread doesn’t go soggy and we can make up or own kebabs as we like them. Not a chance. Chicken with peppers and onions spread over the top of three pitta breads. Lamb already in pitta pocket. I will state the food tastes great. Why can’t they just do what the customer asks. It’s not difficult.

Usually my go to takeaway, but won't be back again ,ordered a collection on Monday 7 March,through the app,ended up waiting 20 minutes after the original time,order wasn't even on when I went in.pakora starter was edible, my partners chicken tikka wrap and my donner weren't. Chicken ticka very hard overcooked, my donner was swimming in fat in the container, and obviously the dregs from the bottom, chips were half cooked. After using for years definitely wont be back again. Order number 18546949

How you can justify charging £6.50 for this is beyond me and to rub salt in the wound when I call up to ask why I get riddled with abuse! I got an apology and told they would sort it next order but that’s not the point, I’m wanting my meal now! I got sworn at and took abuse over the phone. I’ve used Twice the Spice for years and I’ve never been treated this way. Totally disgusting and I will never use them again. Beauty is I know loads of folk in Larbert and the surrounding areas and they will boycott them too!

Ordered mixed pakora and chips,, pakora was actually fairly good but our chips were refried and went straight into the bin.

Ordered regularly! Pakora is highly recommended by my fiancé! Ordered a few things from hoggies to calzones to currys and all have been excellent! Very chuffed :)

Tried a variety of food from the menu here and I can honestly say all the food has been brilliant. The veg pakora is the best I've tasted. Staff are really nice and friendly too. Would definitely recommend twice the spice xx

Was so disappointed after reading such good reviews got a korma and it was so bland no taste at all, we got free chicken legs witch was so nice other than there still pink from the skin to the bone.

Absolutely lovely...quicker than expected. Ordered online asked for extra garlic nan they took no charge and its the best garlic nan and meal I've had in a long time. Will defo be back x

We’ve always had delicious food from here. The kebabs are lovely and the salad is tasty and fresh. The mixed pakora is the best I’ve had, and also love the sauce. The staff are really friendly. Love it!

Really enjoyed the munchi box, the Lamb Tikka was really good and enjoyed the tandoori food from them. Me and my Wife just dropped by while passing through and were not sure how the food will be. But it was a positive experience and enjoyed the food. Good staff and good portion size. Value for money and quality.

I wish there was a 0 star rating for this place, we placed an order for 1 pizza, 1 chips cheese and donor, 1 quarter pounder with cheese and 4 chips and cheese (medium), We received ONE OF all of the above, leaving 3 people (the remaining 3 chips and cheese). This was only after 2 phone calls and an extra hour wait; order placed at around 6:30 and delivery time estimated 8:20, didn’t arrive til 9:15. This establishment told us the weather (light rain) caused the delay and then the driver told us it was a flat tyre. Would NEVER recommend to anyone. They have now told us they are closing when confronted when google states they close at 11pm (covid-19 May have effected closing times so this may not be a proper issue)

Had a great pizza from here a few years ago, but in general it's decidedly middle of the road fare. Saving grace is that they're always open !

Lamb was chewy and i had a fair bit of Delhi belly the next day. Twice the Spice isn't the takeaway it used to be.

Called in an order to pick up other night. Followed all social distancing. The employee behind the counter insisted that I go to the bank and pay in cash as he wasnt accepting cards . I asked if I had ordered through just eat or there app would I have had to pay cash. He stated yes, and became obnoxious This isn't right. I wont be using this establishment again. they have lost a customer of many years

Food was warm at best, and delivery short of one pizza. Called restaurant and was told another pizza would be sent out right away . 20 later and still waiting, food poor quality and wouldn't recommend. I will not be using again.

Fabulous food and worth the trip from falkirk to larbert to get food here. Curries are all amazing, as is everything else on the menu. I would be happy to recommend a curry calzone anytime, Twice the Spice will make a calzone out of ANY curry you like from the menu, not many other places will do this. If you're hungry for a good take away, go here !!! They do deliver, but generally I'm to hungry to wait so I go pick it up, They are on just eat but I'd recommend using their own app as you'll get a discount on it, although not every menu option is on the app. Bon Apetite

Ordered via app and now had two bad experiences. First time - forgot rice x 2 Second time - delivered 1 hour earlier than booked for. Butter chicken was just a korma and soooo sweet not buttery as it should have been. South Indian garlic chilli King prawn was not that sweet and not very enjoyable as well as prawns being tough as if they use cooked prawns. Won't be ordering again ever!

Unlikely to be back. Used to go there years ago. Can't fault the value but my chicken dish contained shish which was rotten and what appears to be a chicken leg. Not good. The chicken pakora however was how I remember it very good.. Sadly the main course put me off. Think the shop could also do with a deep clean..

Got a greedy munchy box without donner meat, chips were under cooked, pakora undercooked pizza was dryer than the sahara wouldnt reccomend this place never getting from there again smelly bastard

Nice little place In larbert. Kindest people I have met. Whilst I was waiting on my order I noticed a little girl came in an sat down. The gentlemen behind the counter said u waiting for ure mum and she replied yes. He said go and take a drink to the little girl. I was intrigued as her mum came to the door said thanks and just left' didn't order anything. I asked the man behind the counter an he told me she comes in every day and waits in here for her mum as it's cold outside and I always ask her to take a drink. What a nice and kind thing to see in this day and age :)

I had been looking forward to my Chicken tikka chasni calzoni all day. But when i tucked in it was more like cheesy bake with a couple of lumps of chicken added. Very sickly. My mrs had a lamb jalfrezi which also went in the bin. Overpowering taste of green peppers and the lamb was as tuff as old boots. My daughter had a cheese pizza......success at last!! Well done for managing a pizza guys. Dont think I'll be back.

After moving to Falkirk spent moths trying to find a great take away and this is it. Peri peri kebab is the best kebab you will find. Not sure about delivery but pick to ensure fresh quality food.

I ordered on just-eat an £18 meal deal including a peshwari naan and fried rice from twice the spice in falkirk through just eat app. I get a phone call from them saying youll need to give us another £1.50 if you want your peshwari naan. Im like ehhh no i already paid for a meal with a rice and a naan. He says hes not bringing the naan unless i pay extra. 5 mins of arguing later he says he'll give me it, but ill need to pay for the naan next time. I said after this there wont be a next time. Then he says he wont bother bringing me my food. I told him he better coz iv paid for it. Now i dont even want my meal because it arrived late and cold and all i can think is that theyve probably spat in it. If ur thinking about a takeaway tonight, do me a solid and stay away from twice the spice in larbert,falkirk. I'm away to write some more reviews.
