Outstanding food and service for a pit stop. Laura and Lesley were very accommodating and a master in their craft. Will be returning any time I pass here. For food I had the homemade onion Bhagi’s and a coronation chicken baguette. The food and the selection is vast. Also you can get homegrown produce in all varies kind's from food to clothing, soaps, candles and drink. The coffee is their own blend and it was brilliant. Highly recommend.

Shame you cant give out more than 5 stars as this place deserves more . What a find after a long drive from the north we pulled into what looks like a small industrial estate and tucked away in a corner is one of the best delis we have ever visited . The WH Way goes right past the door so there was a steady stream of footsore visitors on the 2 days we were there as we had to visit it again before the long drive home , I had the bacon , brie and chilli naanwich with a fab caramel latte on the first visit and then for our breakfast 4 days later we both had the bacon and sausage baps with a chai latte .The food was so good we bought some baguettes and bhaji wraps for taking home ,fantastic food and superb friendly service from all staff , theres also a well stocked gift shop and very clean toilets , all in all well recommended

The food shopping is also clearly carefully curated with an amazing range of local cheese, wine, beer, sweet stuff, and don't get me started on the gift range... The selection of local artists and products is unmatched, the flowers, jewellery, candles etc are beautiful. Staff were super friendly and helpful. OMG. Day two of backpacking the West Highland Way, I stopped by Turnip the Beet just to see if all the rave reviews could be true. They are! I wish I could remember everything that was in my wrap--crispy onions, mango chutney, avocado? Whatever it was, it was delicious. I told the owner that it was the best thing I had tasted in five weeks in Scotland--including the whiskies and real ales, which is saying a lot! Even though I live in health-conscious foodie town, I wish we had a Turnip the Beet here. Treat yourself, especially if you're hillwalking. You deserve it.

We paid our first visit here today and it won't be our last. We stopped by after a walk from our new home near Killearn, and ordered some takeaway coffees which were very good. We then decided to buy ourselves a thali meal for two, to take home for our Saturday evening treat. We got lamb jalfrezi, Korean pork belly, gunpowder potatoes, dhal, paneer curry, naan bread, onion bahjis and pickles all for £25. I said to my wife "if the food is as good as the coffee I'll be very happy" Well here we are later on Saturday evening, both very full and very happy. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Just enjoyed my first ever takeaway from Turnip the Beet. We had 3 dishes: butter chicken; korean pork belly; and chilli prawns. All 3 were rich in flavour and made with beautiful fresh ingredients. Much nicer than a 'standard' takeaway curry - the sauce was savoury without being oily and the prawns especially were cooked to perfection - just enough firmness and retaining enough of the flavour of the sea. I also want to add that the poppadoms were the best I have ever eaten - obviously cooked fairly freshly today. I can't wait to come back. 3 great curries for just £25.

Wow! I have just had a fantastic meal from Turnip The Beet. This deli, with a take-away service, offers wonderful curries and much much more, whilst also being very environmentally conscious. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Butter Chicken (a rich flavour with lovely depth), the Beef Massaman (a glorious warmth of balanced heat and Thai spices, packed with flavour), and the Matar Paneer (another wonderful range of flavours with just the right balance of spices), accompanied by some of the tastiest naan I have eaten in many many years. This take-away from the deli was packaged with minimal plastics - and what was used was plant-based and compostable. Turnip the Beet are proud of their eco-friendly ethos - which is fully justified. I would class myself as a bit of a ‘curry-fanatic’ having lived and worked in the Middle East and I can easily vouch for the curry from Turnip the Beet being absolutely first class.

I do love small plates and have had many tasting menus, but these dishes are just a bit too small in my opinion. one of the dishes was haggis but there really wasn't enough and I could hardly taste it. The halibut dish was slightly overpowered by the other ingredients on the dish and some of the dishes needed a touch more seasoning. The service was great. Toilets were very cold.

Just had the distillery tour with the excellent Mollie. It couldn’t have been better and I know as I am a tour guide at another distillery. She explained the process expertly and we never felt rushed or pressurised. The three whiskies were a real treat, high quality and well presented. Huge thanks to a great experience and such a lovely team.

This place is so nice! Very cute atmosphere, very clean toilets and possibility to sit outside, weather permitting. Food is tasty. The owners/personnel are so friendly, they came to our table to chat and give tips. Highly recommended!
