Triple Two Coffee in Barking and Dagenham

If i could give 0 stars i would, there were two individuals who gave me attitude because they wanted to have a power trip about who can sit down. They charge £20 for their WIFI absolutely a rip off and if you thought the prices equated to good customer service you are wrong.

Really good food, tasty and generous portions. Coffee is really good too and the location is superb. Lovely views, great outdoor sitting when the weather is nice.

Enjoyed the location and the food. I would say it was slightly overpriced.

Just grabbed an early morning coffee from 222. The sun hits it nicely with some out door seating. Yet to try the food but looks good. A great local addition to the area. Keep it up 🙏🏼

Staff are friendly and familiar and the food is prepared with caution and consideration. The perfect environment to sit and study, with amazing drinks and breakfast!!

I live nearby and like to come in for 1-2 hours once a week during work hours for a change of pace. I have coffee at home but thought it was a win win as the cafe has at most 2 other customers when I come in, so I get to support the business too. For some reason 222 doesn't think so. They've gone from setting their password to "coffeeshopnotwifispot" to changing the wifi password while I'm sat there and now putting up signs requiring a minimum spend of £5 to sit in for an hour if you have a laptop. A minimum spend of more than a cup of coffee, to sit while you drink your coffee... I'd understand if there wasn't enough room for other customers, but it's literally empty every weekday morning. There are at least 10 other tables of space. Unless the weird passive aggressive actions stop, I'll start going to starbucks instead, which is a shame because if everyone else feels the same it will end up shutting down.

This is the best Cafe I have been to in a long time, the service is Great especially from Femi! he is so lovely and welcoming and always makes the experience great and his customer service is the best! The food is really good with great presentation and so delicious. My favourite here is the Chai Latte, that is usually my go. I would highly advise to come here especially if you live in Barking, the views are amazing too. 100% recommend10/10 no faults

Very poor customer service with odd attitude of the staff. Not sure if this place will survive being not busy at all and not welcoming or appreciating the customers. Previous staff was much more friendly.

I visited this coffee shop today, owner was lovely. Coffee was well made and reasonably priced. The atheistics of the coffee shop are absolutely stunning and the view is splendid. I think this is a real gem and I plan to visit again.

When I came, I dont get service, because one customer (young girl) complained without reason in bar. Stupid personal, probably, use drugs. Very strange, no reaction, not professional.

The atmosphere, location, and the coffee. Every aspect freshly blend. The service is always with a smile. Those guys deserve a raise.

Consider doing something with the coffee beans; the taste of the coffee is awful. Everything else in the cafe is fine, and it's the only nice place to sit in our area. It's unfortunate that the coffee isn't up to par and has a rather disagreeable taste.

I would rate it higher, as the food is good (although very expensive), and the coffee is ok, however the cafe has some issues which really make it only worth 3 stars currently in my opinion. The cafe is extremely hot; there is no air circulation, and it is usually much hotter inside than outside. I’m sure it’ll be fine in winter, but in summer it’s unbearable (even though it’s quite mild outside). There is also loud pop music playing most of the time, even on workday mornings, which makes it not a great place to do some work. When the cafe opened they had sandwiches and salads in the fridge ready to go, so you could pick something up on the way to work. They’ve now closed half of the fridge, and filled the remainder only with cold drinks, giving less options. The fresh food sometimes takes quite a while to come, so isn’t really an option when heading off to work in a rush. Hopefully the heating, music and fridge is sorted at some point - if it is, the cafe will be great.

I really like their coffee. The atmosphere and the view is calming. You can bring your laptop and do some work from here as they have a quite stable WiFi. And now they also start to provide Halal options, this is awesome!!!

There has not been a single day since this cafe opened that I have not visited! THE best coffee blend that I’ve had at any high street coffee shop & the food is perfect from the size to the flavour as well as variety of food on offer. So good I’ve even visited other location when I’m out of the area. Staff are so friendly I feel like I’m friends with them all & so does my dog, she runs straight to the counter to get her puppacino! Must visit if you are in the area!!

Good coffee, awesome place, awesome staff, but either prices are 3 times greater than food quality, or food quality quite poor for tye prices. Also tried croissant yesterday as well, and it was very old and dry. So please guys, either stick with cupcakes, or throw old stuff away

Customer service is excellent. Hosts/bartender/waiting staff are highly responsive. Kind staff with smiles. Very good music. Always clean & presentable space. Drinks well made and nice tasting. This will become a regular spot for me.

The staff at the weekends at friendly and helpful. It’s too hot to sit inside on a hot day, so I’ve only dined alfresco. I’ve had a great coffee and a very average one, depending on who has made it. It would be great if triple two offered a smaller version of their English Breakfast. Not everyone wants or needs such a HUGE meal.

Люблю это заведение, но кофе не вкусный. Вроде как главный концепт заведения—кофейня. Хотелось бы, чтобы прожарка и сорт кофе были немного крепче и имели приятное послевкусие. Зато мятный чай—one love. Персонал очень дружелюбно встречает. Чисто! Нравится, что dog friendly. Надеюсь над качеством вкуса кофе поработают.

It's a shame because everything else about the café was delightful. The café boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere with trendy decor and comfortable seating. The staff members were friendly and attentive. However, the coffee beans used were of subpar quality, resulting in a bland and unexciting taste. On a positive note, this cafe offers a wide selection of alternative beverages like teas and specialty drinks that are worth exploring. The food menu, featuring delicious jacket potato and light bites, was a definite highlight. In summary, while 222 cafe excels in ambiance and service, the disappointing coffee undermines the experience. I recommend trying their alternative beverages and enjoying their tasty potato while hoping for improvements in coffee quality.

Real treat having this cafe by the new private estate, a stone throw away from my apartment, staff are friendly, spacious and clean shop!!! Peach green ice tea was absolutely refreshing on this warm Saturday! Strawberry lemonade was also a thirst quenching beverage!

Credit to the lovely staff who are clearly doing their best, though the place is seriously understaffed which makes wait times a joke. I waited 25 minutes for two coffees and overheard a customer complain she had waited 45 minutes for two breakfasts which still hadn't arrived. Management, please help your current staff by employing more! Apart from that, it's a lovely place with decent prices and a relaxing vibe and a very welcome addition to the area.

This place is really nice. Staff is friendly and kind but this place is new so I think most of the staff are trainees and everything takes really really long. Even one single coffee can take them up to 10 minutes.

What a fantastic addition to Barking! My third visit and every time my flat whites have been 👌 and their granola slice is amazing too 😋. Topped off with being in the best position in Barking overlooking the river and The Abbey 😀. What's not to love 🧡

Lovely modern cafe with nice views of the wharf. Has wifi and a variety of seating. The frappe I had, raspberry and white chocolate, had a nice, strong flavour. The service was friendly too. Overall, a nice place to relax or study!

Coffee was very good. Muffin - a bit too dry… nice place but please turn the heating down, it was positively tropical inside!!

Popped by last weekend for a coffee, really clean and tidy inside. Friendly staff. Ordered an iced peach tea (made in house) and it was delicious. Will be back!

Finally a decent big cafe in the area! Also dog friendly and with a baby changing facilities in the bathroom.
