we have recently purchased a holiday home at torksey lock,are local pub is the white swan run by julie and neil ,who are very welcoming to all.we hace eaten here twice now and have been overwhelmed by the portions of home cooked food you get for the price it is absolutely fantastic,it is hard to recommend a dish because we went as a group of 6 and each one of us raved about our own dishes.we will definitely be eating there again and again

25 High StreetExcellent home delivered afternoon tea. What a lovely surprise gift. Was tasty and fresh. Could have done with the option of more savoury and less sweet (due to diabetic) but the quality and quantity were outstanding. And came with a beautiful fresh rose on top. Great.

Weaver RoadThe Weaver Coffee Corner is our go to spot on Saturday mornings with friends. My wife and daughter have drank their way through the menu which has seasonal changes. I enjoy my own concoction of Irish Hot Chocolate (cocoa/Irish cream). The baked goods, mostly homemade are a must here. Unique choices and they never disappoint. This morning I had Priscilla's Apple Cake which was delicious and huge. The raspberry cheesecake was smooth and creamy with just enough tartness to make it extra special. The biscuits and gravy are not served in the traditional manner. Here, it is a sausage patty inside a biscuit covered in gravy. Outside of my home, it's the best I've had! Between tourists and locals it's typically full with lively conversations. Nicely decorated and the fresh baked goods smell as good as they are. The rooms are very comfortable as well.
