we have recently purchased a holiday home at torksey lock,are local pub is the white swan run by julie and neil ,who are very welcoming to all.we hace eaten here twice now and have been overwhelmed by the portions of home cooked food you get for the price it is absolutely fantastic,it is hard to recommend a dish because we went as a group of 6 and each one of us raved about our own dishes.we will definitely be eating there again and again

Excellent home delivered afternoon tea. What a lovely surprise gift. Was tasty and fresh. Could have done with the option of more savoury and less sweet (due to diabetic) but the quality and quantity were outstanding. And came with a beautiful fresh rose on top. Great.

Hill SideMy husband brought me to the Black Swan for a special Valentines dinner and the food was so good that we booked to bring family members here for a birthday meal. Although our guests have all lived in the Newark area for many years they had never heard of The Black Swan, but they were all full of praise for the wonderful food and the welcoming staff.
