Poppy's Place in North Kesteven

Excellent home delivered afternoon tea. What a lovely surprise gift. Was tasty and fresh. Could have done with the option of more savoury and less sweet (due to diabetic) but the quality and quantity were outstanding. And came with a beautiful fresh rose on top. Great.

Afternoon tea. Food is lovely can’t fault quality . Disappointed with delay in delivery service. When I ordered we were told it would be delivered between 12-2pm. Food arrived at 3pm. I know these are difficult times but I had to do the chasing to find out the delivery time. Two children rather hungry. We’d also paid premium prices for VE Day afternoon tea and cookie box. Such a shame.

Ordered an afternoon tea to be delivered to a family member - great communication and easy to organise remotely. Delivered as promised and wow! Looked beautifully presented with such a wonderful variety of homemade items. And I’m told it tasted fantastic too! Thank you so much.

Brilliant. Love the decor, the food and the friendly, welcoming family owners. A lovely local spot to be spoilt.

I’ve been wanting to visit Poppy’s place for a while after hearing great reviews. I was definitely not disappointed. The staff are really welcoming and there is a lovely atmosphere. The food was great and I can’t wait to go back!

The soup is homemade and super tasty! The potato cake in the breakfast is home made which I’ve never seen before! The marshmallow is toasted! I could go on! They cater for children and nothing is too much trouble. We wish we’d found this place sooner! Great ingredients and great staff. The beautiful Christmas tree and door wreaths were an added bonus!

Staff are great very friendly and welcoming. Food great too. Very cosy and will be back soon To try the milkshakes

I’ve been here several times and every time is as good as the first! The food variety’s get better and cater for everyone from your builders breakfasts and dinners to your vegetarians and vegans! And even catered for my little nephew who is dairy free . if your after a quick food fix! A great big slap up meal or just so sit out side with a cuppa and watch the ducks by the river? then you can’t go much wrong with this little place! Oh watch out!!! The deserts and cakes draw you in ❤️ I genuinely recommend this place

Excellent little café/restaurant serving delicious breakfast & brunch. Ice cream as well. Really friendly family run place with superbe poached eggs!! See you soon.

Poppy & her family have created a great little venue serving lovely & good value food. Always friendly & welcoming. Often busy as it is so good. Give it a try. The sausage rolls are to die for!!

We have visited a number of times now and every time we have had fabulously fresh, tasty food, served by the most friendly family team. Breakfast, sandwiches, smoothies and coffee all hit the spot. My personal favourite is the strong Cortado coffee. Way better than anything you get in the coffee shop chains.

Was very busy we all ordered breakfast. A little different to what we’re used to for an English breakfast but still very nice, prep sally not too keen on the sausages , however we’re planning our next trip back to try the sand which’s and cakes which looked Devine! Staff are lovely and friendly

Great place to eat. Great food and lovely staff. Would highly recommend. Great selection on the menu. Always decorated for Christmas Halloween etc. Nothing to much trouble.

Wow what a wonderful lunch I had yesterday at Poppy's. It was so hard to choose what to have from the mouth-watering menu as it all looked so amazing and the range of teas and locally sourced soft drinks were unusual and delicious. Very reasonably priced with such a friendly and warm atmosphere and fantastic service, I will certainly be going back.

Ruskingtons number one place for a stop off for a snack, lunch or a great ice-cream a family run tea room with first-class service. Home made cakes and freshly made meals. A relaxing and very friendly atmosphere a regular stop for us

We have been to Poppy's a couple of times since we discovered it a couple of weeks ago. Everyone is so warm and friendly and the food is outstanding both in quality and value. The sandwiches and baguettes are interesting, fresh, beautifully presented and filling. The home made cakes are out of this World and change daily. No place better for breakfast or a light lunch and no silly inflated prices. We love this place

Lovely, friendly place. Nothing is too much trouble and Poppy will go out of her way to make you welcome and comfortable. The food is amazing, fresh and home cooked and lovely latte and cappuccino. Would certainly recommend a visit
