My husband and I recently had a booking at your restaurant for Saturday evening at 5 pm. At the last minute, our 13-year-old daughter's plans changed, so we decided to bring her along, thinking it would be no problem to pull an extra chair over to the table. Unfortunately, we were very wrong. When we arrived, the person at the front desk was extremely rude. He immediately told us that the restaurant was fully booked and, when we suggested pulling an extra chair to accommodate our daughter, he responded curtly, stating that there were no more chairs available. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since we’ve been loyal customers since you opened in Portadown, frequently bringing family and friends on different occasions. This wasn't our first encounter with this particular staff member. On a previous visit, he was rude as well, but we chose to overlook it. However, after this second disappointing experience, it's clear that we won't be returning. It's unfortunate because we’ve always enjoyed dining here, but the unprofessional behaviour from this staff member has left a lasting negative impression.

Hannah was our server, absolutely fantastic, really kind and helpful. Our 3 year old loved her. Hannah put a lot of effort into entertaining our little one and made her (and our) night! Brilliant waitress!

Had booking for dinner on 28th Feb for friends birthday, service was slow and got drinks order wrong. T-bone 16oz was absolutely atrocious, half thing was fat and rest was bone. Raised this with the manager Connor, who was absolutely disgusting with his customer service and additude towards us, he even walked away in the middle of conversation. Definitely wasn't worth £32 for the steak as was pure fat and bone. The manager also threatened us with police as we had refused to pay for just the T-Bone. Definitely won't be back again. Absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible the service was slow and the manager Conor was so ignorant and rude has no customer service skills whatsoever definitely don’t recommend this place at all waste of money

Fantastic food got the T-Bone and the ice-cream sundae beautiful got fast service You will need to book in advance for a table because it's so popular and I would say Saturday would be the business night however there was one night we whent round we had to complain the music was to loud and they refused to turn the volume down had to leave so I haven't been back for a while

Brilliant food, everything was first class from start to finish and reasonably priced, was our first time in top blade portadown but we will definitely be back!

Our server Alex was amazing, speed of her service was perfect, lovely polite young girl. However, the only thing we didn’t appreciate was how Alex’s manager, Conor, disrespected her in front of costumers. If she made a mistake then deal with it in private and not in front of paying costumers. Furthermore, show some grace to your floor staff as it is not an easy environment to work in. Again, Alex was great!

Lovely food as ever, great young people doing waitering, lovely manners. Great set menu price and nice to see new extended menu.

We have arrived with party of 11 We were greeted with a front house on his phone approaching and then walking away. Very unprofessional . Then we were told we will need to wait for a table as there were still people at our table which was again very unprofessional. The another issue with the service was when the bottle of wine arrived at the table it was just left at the side with glasses. No one opened the bottle or taken any care. Now the girl Ellie waitress was amazing. Attentive, pleasant and accommodating. Regarding food the meats were amazing however sides definitely need to be improved. Atmosphere is not find fine dining. Music way too loud and non inviting for conversation.

Absolutely incredible food and staff! The wagu ribeye was sensational and a must try if you are in the Portadown area for a night. Complements to the amazing staff, especially Allie and the chef!

Great place to dine in ,warm inviting atmosphere with exceptional food and service.If your in the mood for steak dinner try their Wagyu Sirloin its melting in your mouth.Their Pasta Carbonara and Prawn Linguine perfect.Highly recommended!

Husband had been previously and thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately he said was not as nice this time & didn't really enjoy his main. Quiet for a weekend. My steak came out too rare for my taste and chef quickly cooked it more for me kindly & no problem and was really tasty. I had requested medium, everyone is so different so appreciated the no problem approach so much! They prepared a lovely birthday dessert for hubby which was very much appreciated ❤️

Fabulous food .Great portions Champ and pepper sauce was exceptional. Very nice, friendly and efficient staff.Great music too ! Only downside was that some drinks that were advertised were unavailable.

Went to Top Blade Portadown for our annual Xmas party. Connor who manages the restaurant was Friendly and welcoming he and his staff couldn’t have done more for us. The food was exquisite, ordering fillet steak it was cooked to perfection. The mac and cheese side was fantastic as were all the side dishes that accompanied the steak perfectly. We sampled a few of the cocktails to start as well as the wine to accompany the steak, an excellent selection jellybean, porn star martini, Long Island ice tea and a pina colada.we want to give a Big shout out to the chef as the food was a culinary experience. We Definitely will be eating here again. Thank you for giving 4 ladies a truly fantastic night.

I travelled here tricked by their good marketing but this place is an embarrassment. Nothing we ordered was available at 8pm on a Saturday evening. The picture below is a £50 ordered medium rare wagyu ribeye cooked like you'd expect from a low end cafe.

Went for dinner with friends,we all ordered steak,it was the worst steak we ever had. Medium steak over done,and one was burnt. Brownie for desert was hard to eat. I will not recommend and we all are so disappointed.

Stakes were great, mac n cheese did not have any seasoning and was bland, service was terrible though, waitresses forgot to bring us forks few multiple times, did not remember our dishes etc. and drinks seemed like they dis not have any alcohol in them.

One of the worst services I’ve ever had at a restaurant, booked in for 7 and that table wasn’t ready till around quarter past, waiting over an hour for food then nearly an hour after that waiting for desert and it only being a simple fudge cake that could be made in 5 minutes

Arrived and we were shown to the bar to wait on our table being prepared. We were then told our table was by the entrance not in the restaurant. I protested and we were given a table in the restaurant. We ordered our food and it was then a 50 minute wait till we were served. The food was OK certainly not worth the money I paid. The steak was warm not hot, quite salty and not worth the money.

The restaurant is extremely dark and cramped with small tables. There was a strong smell when we came in that smelled unclean. The tables were not properly wiped when we were set down. Drinks orders were quick but we felt pressured to get our food order in quickly. Food came out quick which was great and was super tasty. I'm not a fan of the wooden slabs the steak was on but thats personal preference. The meal itself was in my opinion on the pricey side, which wouldn't have been a problem if the restaurant was cleaner. I'm not sure if I would rush back but the steak was really lovely and most of the staff friendly.

Went tonight first time got the 12oz fillet steak very nice too best I've had in ages my wife had the 8oz fillet and said it was beautiful too will definitely be back servers very friendly too nice atmosphere also

I had the 16 Oz T bone, With chips, and tobacco onions, garlic mushrooms with a dip for starter, and crunchier cheese cake with ice cream, and no complaints about any of it, food was delicious, and staff were friendly, will definitely return, Price wise - I went with the special at 29.95 and upgraded to the T. Bone for extra 14.00

This is the best, and I mean the best steak house, I've been in. The atmosphere was electric and the service was exceptional. But the food OMG!!! was out of this world . If you are a meat lover then you must visit this steakhouse.

Food was beautiful. Love that they have introduced chicken and burgers into the menu for a change - I usually get steak. Large portions, piping hot and quick service. They have so much to choose from now and also do a 30 pound deal for 3 courses 7 days a week, alongside a large cocktail menu. Couldn’t go wrong here!

Had my birthday meal here, what can I say I was over impressed and that's not normal. The food was excellent, the staff couldn't have been nicer I loved it

Service was poor, booked a table a few days in advance, but then got asked to move to the bar area for our dessert, because our time slot had expired. I understand that it can be busy, but our food came out late and we all finished our main course within 15-20mins but no one came to clear our table and ask if we were done, which there was plenty of time for. Once they finally started to clear our table we then got asked to move and have our desert at the bar area. After moving to the table at the front we had to go and ask ourselves for menus for dessert after waiting another 5-10mins and it just felt like they forgot about us. We’ve been here a few times and service has been great all other times except for today.

I found it very expensive when the portions were so small tiny. No sides included like anywhere else and no WiFi in the place for the public to use there phone hard to believe. Nice staff but was still hungry unfortunately leaving.

NEVER in over 20-odd years of dining out and a decade working in hospitality have I ever had my main course brought out in the middle of my starter! And when i declined to take it the waitress states “thats how we do it here” (despite this NOT having been the way it was done the last FOUR times i was there). Having asked to speak to the manager (if you can call someone who deems it appropriate to turn up to a public-facing job in a teeshirt that barely fits a manager) I was bluntly informed that “We don’t call them starters here we call them ‘Light Bites’” while rudely thrusting a menu at me to prove his petty little point. Topped off with having to pick my own coat off the floor after it was taken from me to be “hung up as they can be a trip hazard” and then Mr Lovehandles (Manager) childishly asking if “Everything was ok?” after everything that happened. Will not be back in TB Portadown and frankly would rather drive to the belfast venue.

Excellent steaks cooked perfectly. Really nice atmosphere also. Our Waitress Ellie was attentive, knowledgeable with menu and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back to try more menu items. Great value our experience

Food not bad had better. Service terrible from start to finish. Had a knife and fork from start, yes starters to mains to desert had to ask for Spoon for desert. Had to ask for my pepper sauce for beef & bird. Try to charge me for it. Top blade not worth the money in my eyes.

Fantastic food and service. The wife had the new chicken and king prawns and Said they where unreal. I had the 12oz fillet and it was like cutting butter. Fantastic will be back asap

Terrible management Lack of consideration for customers, had tables booked they wouldn’t find an extra chair because we had a baby with us. So they missed out on a £1000 bill over 1 chair. None of us will ever go there as it was our first time trying it. We’ll all be telling family and friends to keep away and go somewhere better.

I attended top blade for a surprise birthday dinner for myself with a few friends at the end of August and was impressed at first sight, from the first smile, and, greeting we had of the guy who walked us to our table and asked if we had any questions, he was very knowledge with his answers.. just like the saying you only get one chance to make a good impression, he made our night without being overly involved at the table, his name was Connor.. the food was very good, i had the t bone with garlic chips which was excellent, but the reason we have been back is because of Connor... thank you top blade and thank you Connor

Never left a bad review before, but people should to be aware of this. You may be denied service based on your ethnicity. As the waitress was about to take us to a table, what I presume was her manager, in a dismissive manner interjected and told us they were about to close. This was 1h15m away from the actual closing time (Friday at 8:45pm). Nothing against the establishment, but this was uncalled for, and the whole situation just wasn’t right.

Won’t be rushing back. Main course arrived while starter was barely sat down. Party member didn’t get to finish their starter as main course was getting cold. Steak wasn’t cooked to order. Was underdone and cold. Main course was hurried and staff tried to lift it while we were still eating it. Dessert was forgotten about then we were rushed out due to being over the allocated time. Overpriced and poor quality. Not a great first experience.

I've never left a negative review before, but this was our experience. Booked a table for 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids under 3. 1. drinks order wrong 2. had to ask for kids menu 3. had to get high chair ourselves 4. all tables around us arrived after us and received food before us 5. Spoke to staff and a while after they realise they hadnt processed our order. 6. Asked to take our order again with next to no apology but as we had waited over 1h we had to leave to get kids to bed. 7. Minimum discount was offered reluctantly 3 year cried when we had to leave as he was hungry. Real shame as seemed as nice place.

Terrible steak very cheap meat used chewing for ten mins on the steak, starter was very oily and also no forks given for starter . Definitely won’t be back and pricey for poor quality. Avoid

Were very disappointed with the size of T-bone steak, wish we had pictures taken. Definitely not 16oz , was twice thinner and smaller. Asked waiter for salad, said he never ate salad there and does not know about it (also, did not bother asking the chef). Mac & cheese tasted like pot noodles. My steak (sirloin) was not too bad but my partner was very dissatisfied with his t-bone. The spinach were inedible. At the end of experience, we did not even get a chance to tell about our experience as nobody would ask “how was it”. Even when we did not finish our starter, staff did not think it would be fair to ask if everything okay with it. Pretty disappointed for a steak house. 4 different waiters came to the table, and not one of them have lifted empty glasses off the table.

Rating this area as a local reccomadition. It is stunning visually., any the staff i met were lovely and happy to assist me & my husband. My only issus was is that my husband & I went for an early dinner at 5pm this evening & our order got messed up even though there were only 2 other tables of 2 in at the same time. When we asked the staff for asstince & the assures us that they would check with the kitchen, they soon returned saying the prawns that were apart of one of our orders would be 6 minsor so & that our drinks would be on the house, we assured the staff that this was fine & we would await for the accompany of the prawns to our already cold dish. When the prawns arrived the staff we had previcely been speaking to came to our table while we were eating our dinner telling us they could not take our drinks off the bill & they were not on the house, but our sides could be taken off the bill, This was very unexpected & strange as we had already been advised as to what action was already going to occure with our bill!! We did not want to make a scene as this was a very awkward situstion we were put in by the staff and went along with this arrangment as it was apparently the only one we had!! And one to disturb our fist meal here may I add!!!! But all in all it was a good meal apart from our issues already discueed. But in my opinion it was Very over priced for the location & the errors we encounterer durring our enperience!!!

Fabulous service and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had.

Overall I had nothing to complain about and enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. What stopped me giving 5 stars was mostly related to the price you paid vs the quality of the food. I think the steaks were just as good as Zio, but their steaks are much cheaper. The only bonus compared to Zio is they have a wider choice of meats which, I suppose comes as no surprise considering they are a steakhouse. The only other small criticism I have is the tobacco onions were not very crispy and a little greasy but still tasty. Service and atmosphere was faultless though. Overall i would definitely recommend Top Blade as worth a try as everyone's tastes are different and I will be back a second time to try a different cut of steak or one of their signature burgers which did look amazing served at the table next to us. I just hope it tastes amazing at £14 a burger. Which I have no problem paying if it does taste amazing. Give Top Blade a try!!

First time visiting with some friends, good simple menu with the focus on the Steak. Sides and dessert very tasty. Good choice of drinks and kids meals available. Would definitely recommend the mushroom sauce.

Returned to top blade again over the weekend as it never disappoints! The food was delicious, the waiting times were not long, especially as it was very busy and the service from staff was great, especially from George who went above and beyond. We will be back again soon :)

Very disappointed the staff were polite but the sirloin wasn't great,it wasn't hot almost prepared (just my opinion) was certainly not worth the money, we'll certainly not be back

Went one Wednesday evening with the intention of getting steak, then once insaw the menu I went for the burger, I didn't regret it. Service was excellent, one waitress even sacrificed her break time crunchie and gave it to my awkard friend who wanted something with a cup of tea but not desert!! Let's just say they got well deserved tip
