Went for the carvery, loads of choice etc. Plates and food could do with being warmer, slow service toilets not the best etc.

A one stop shop for families. Great breakfast/brunch or lunch with family. And a great softplay to keep the kids happy. suits all ages. Very warm welcome from staff. Great service from Eoghann.

Overall, I would certainly say that this carvery establishment is not what it used to be. I used to enjoy going here, but it definitely has changed... and unfortunately, not in a good way. The waiting staff in the restaurant were very... mediocre. Not bad by any means, but not good, either. I understand it's a busy and often stressful restaurant, but a simple "Hello! How are you?" would do wonders for improving the restaurant's image towards customers. I believe more investment into staff training would be much-needed. Next, we have the carvery itself. My brother and I went up to get our roast joints, and the woman serving them had the surliest and most unfriendly facial expression I've ever seen. No acknowledgement from her whatsoever. She just cut up my meat into the thinnest and stingiest portions imaginable and served them to us without even a "thank you", or "I hope you enjoy your meal." It's very off-putting when you encounter that in the hospitality sector. I went for the standard carvery. Yes, I know there is a "king-size" carvery, but you would possibly barely get more meat on your plate for the extra money. I believe the restaurant could benefit from a clearly marked and priced sizing system, much like the Dyce Farm Carvery on the outskirts of the city. This way, it could cater towards a wider demographic. Those who love chowing down on carveries, and those who are more health-conscious. When I tasted the meat, it was a little bit of a letdown. It was very sinewy and chewy in places, but the vegetables and potatoes were passable. The Cookie Dough Sundae, though, was quite nice. No complaints there, although I did wish there were slightly more cookie dough pieces in the sundae. However, even with the smattering of good points, I'd be hard-pressed to return here. The service was especially disappointing, seeing as it was once very good in the past.

Personal muy amable. . No me di cuenta que sólo tenían carvery. Mi compañero tenía pavo y cordero, que eran agradables, pero las patatas y verduras eran todos tibias en el mejor de los casos. Tuve el wellington de salmón que era muy sabroso y caliente, si un pequeño trozo de salmón en un pedazo enorme de pastelería. Decepcionado por la verdura fría. Relativamente barato, pero todavía no vale la pena. Comimos allí hace dos años y fue igualmente malo, pensé que tal vez habíamos tenido mala suerte, pero ¡No!

La primera vez en este establecimiento, disfruté mucho de mi carvery del domingo. Me dieron el plato king size, que no parecía mucho más grande que un plato normal, sin embargo me dieron una carne extra, me encanta la carne. No estaba seguro de si podía ir por más carne, instrucciones poco claras, sabía devine sin embargo. La música sería apreciada.

Nos atendió Eughan y él era perfecto como dice el dicho las mejores cosas vienen en paquetes pequeños y eso es lo que él era tan simplemente increíble

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Gabby the experience was great. She was incredibly helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed. What stood out most was her knowledge and how hard she works. Her professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for our dining experience made the experience so much more enjoyable.

Me and my wife decided to have a carvery here tonight and it was probably the worst meal we’ve ever had. Waiter was nice and asked if there was any food allergies which I told him I was celiac so he gave me an ipad which showed what I could have and couldn’t have from the carvery. We went up and both myself and my wife had the gammon and the roast beef, there was very little trimmings, I would say half of what it said on the menu and everything was only lukewarm at best. I had the veggie gravy and my wife and the normal and both were watery and very unappealing. The gammon was fine but the road beef was over cooked and full of fat, there wasn’t one bit that was edible. We were in and out within 25 minutes and unfortunately I have ended up being glutened. We will definitely not be back.

Terrible the waiter was clueless had to repeat our order 4 times. Then asked about kids meals then told we don’t do chips she can have beans or salad with her nuggets. That’s all good but our daughter has autism and is very fussy. We ended up going elsewhere for dinner.

Great place and great service from Gabby Food quality absolutely great for the price. Best yorkies that i ever had! Great selection of vegetables for my carvery. Once I noticed pudding section I had to try them and I definetely will be back for them alongside with my main meal. The other server Anna told me that i could get them for takeaway so that's what i done for my partner.

Constantly disappointed. We try to got for breakfast once every other month and every single time there is either no eggs or try hard minging eggs. They need to pay attention and put out fresh runny eggs as someone who doesnt enjoy beans or ketchup my breakfast is so dry if there are no eggs!

Visited this location for the first time a day or so ago - I hadn't visited a branch in Aberdeen before and had only ever been to ones down in England. I am pleased to say the food here was lovely & the service was top notch. I'd like to personally recognise a lovely waiter named Emily who made the experience as smooth as possible. Would go again!

Had the carvery awful beef full grissle veg luke warm at a push dried up and hard played bowls with the peas,gravy one lump or 2 wife had salmon Wellington with one prawn pastry burnt first and last time here. Shame had to give one star not worth any

Been here a few times without any complaints …But on our last visit we found the service terrible and the food even worse . It took us around 20 min to get our plates for the buffet as nobody could be bothered coming out the kitchen to serve even after the waiter went in and told them twice we were waiting . Food was so cold and the meats were dehydrated….. give this place a miss it has went so so downhill to what it was a few years ago . Will not be back

Eat like a king? Somehow i can't see Charles sitting down to dried up bacon, a tattie scone you could knock someone out with, scrambled eggs that weren't cooked properly. It's usually a hit or a miss, and yesterday was a big miss.

We choose here as it's next to the hotel and last time we came it was wonderful. Sadly its went right downhill since. We arrived late for breakfast it was just finishing everything was very dry and you could of knocked someone out with the totty scone I couldn't even bite into it. The bacon and sausages were about the only enjoyable things left. I put it down to us being late, however, the next day we went in it looked the same so we opted to go else where. We thought lunch might of been better so we went in for our friends birthday. Can't fault the two members of staff one with blonde curly hair (manager) perhaps and the younger boy who was also walking around and taking orders. The female chef on the other hand she looked like she didn't want to be there, no smile or anything carving the meats no customer service skills from her at all. The lunch was slightly better than breakfast, however, the macaroni and other foods was left out from 11.15 uncovered until the carvery opened at 12.10 not very fresh when it's left lay there all that time. A couple we met in the hotel also commented on how awful and downhill the restaurant had became so it was not just my family and friends that felt this way. It's a shame because it used to be really well run.

Short stay in Aberdeen. The Tony has 2 faces, a locals bar area and the carvery. Overseen by an amazing Eastern European lady who was everywhere. Knew the locals by name. Made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Food - standard toby which makes carvery with loads of veg. All very good.

Nice service from barmate Gabby, good prices and general atmosphere. Had some starters didn't wait long and they were good perfect with my cold pint. Recommend place for a couple of pints with friends .

Worst experience I ever had. Food was cold except rhe eggs they brought out the hash browns were barely cooked some parts still raw we had to wait for food to be brought out with the result the food we had plated was cold I will not be returning and would not recoment to anyone and I wasn't the only one I hope the six people behind us repost as well

We had a lovely carvery while visiting Scotland on our holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful and made the visit really enjoyable. A speacil mention to Cameron who was brilliant at customer service and made us feel welcome.

Service was so slow regarding drink, Carvery was in ok, but roasts looked very burnt. After my carvery I was going. To have desert but no one came for at least half an hour I gave up. I with desert and left. Food cooked was ok.

My wife , dog and I wanted a Sunday lunch today so decided to try the Toby . We turned up hungry at around noon after a long morning walk . I had the large plate , my wife had the small . Biggles our dog was offered a bowl of water and some sausages which he loved . I had beef , lamb and sausages , all cooked perfectly and so tasty , with as much side offerings as I wanted . I went up for more and had tell Dillon ( the chef on duty ) how outstanding the food was . For the price you really can't go wrong and the staff were very kind . Only the bar is open to dogs , which is understandable and at the time we were there was nice and quiet and away from the main eating area which was getting busy . Pat the bar manager came over to offer our dog the bowl of water and a sausage . What a lovely touch which only made our meal all the more enjoyable . I'll be back again Thank you Pat , Dillon and the entire staff who seemed to work like a close ,happy family .

Had a carvery here last night and it had to be the worst carvery we have ever had. Meat dried up aoart from the gammon which was fresh out if the oven. Vegetable were dried up and cold and the potatoes so hard we couldn't get a knife through them and they were burned. Gravy had a skin about a couple of centimeters thick on it. We have been for a carvery here before and it was really good but certainly gone way down hill now and we won't be back.

Food was awful, hard veg, definitely not fresh, tiny bits of meat and it was just awful food. Puddings was my partners best part (ice cream can't really go wrong with ice cream) my sticky toffee pudding was cold and custard was cold to match it aswell. Staff service was also abit of a letter down too, waited roughly half an hour to 45 minutes just to get our carvery plates taken away and the deserts were the same. Looked like the guy (apologies don't know the name) was working and every time I watched the other staff members just look at the table and plates and just walk right on by. Poor customer service and definitely don't want to be back. Charged full for a meal also that I could barely eat with it being so hard. Very disappointed.

Always go for the carvery here, excellent choice of well cooked meats and trimmings. Good choice on their menu if you don't want the carvery. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.

The carvery is delicious and fresh each time we have been.an added bonus is that if you have children they have a soft area and you can also eat in there too. Family friendly and staff are polite. Would highly recommend.

The carvery has an extensive selection and there is a regular menu too. You don't pay at the bar which is a nice change. My criticism would be that the veggies were quite dried out as they sit under a heat lamp a long time....
