Tj's is when the best food atmosphere comes together. Amritsari aloo Kulcha was the best. Never had this good Mongo lassi at such affordable price. Staffs and their service was also good.

Mango lassi was good and authentic taste. The service and staff was really nice.

Issues with anti social customers who attend the events and refuse to respond back to local residents regarding this issue.

Tap water Charged ! We were there for a social event ,which was prepaid event including of food n dance. We did buy our drinks at the bar. But to my surprise I was asked to pay for a glass of water.50p per glass, which was just a tap water. When I asked why is that water is being charged they said it is service charge ok then I said refill the same glass for water. They said no. This is so wrong n unacceptable. Next time we attend an event at Aria they would ask us to pay each time we use restrooms?

Food taste was average and portions were on the small side. Won't be going back for a while

I attended a private function. Upon arrival the staff presented a manual ramp over a few steps but I refused because the steepness would have ended in an accident as a powerchair user. I don't think I would use the venue or recommend to family or friends ever again, it's far too  risky!

It's fine. Pints are probs a bit overpriced for where you're at and the atmosphere it's neither a good or bad sports bar/pub/Indian restaurant.

Fabulous place to hold a gathering.

Celebrated our friend's birthday and the food was delicious! Great service and ambience overall! However, the staff need to be more informed about the food ie its halal or not. We ended up having vegetarian for starters and canapés it was only when dinner was served the hosts confirmed that it was actually halal with the management.

Great venue for hosting parties! food and service is great. Known for their Punjabi Indian grill . The new year party hosted here was value for money. Thank you UFCC for introducing us to this place !

I went to play pool with a 10-year-old, paid for drinks, but couldn't provide a £5 cash deposit for the table. Offered card payment or leaving my phone as collateral, both were declined. Asked for the manager, staff claimed the manager was busy and unavailable despite being seen conversing nearby. The manager didn't address the issue personally. Disappointed with the treatment, won't return. Customer service was poor.

To begin with, this place has cozy vibes and has a very customer friendly environment and coming to the food, I don’t think I have had such delicious food at Leeds, they serve the best biryani which surely takes you back to India, I also enjoyed the chilly chicken, worth every single penny! :)

This restaurant has the best atmosphere. Moreover I am a vegetarian person and I have tried there all of the vegetarian dishes which are absolutely tastes fantastic. I would suggest that those who wants an Indian taste food then they should try this restaurant.

Great Service & Amazing Indian Food!

We happened upon this place while just passing by. Looks like a modern pub but has most amazing Indian food with loads of flavour. It's got really good acoustics - despite relatively loud music, we were still able to simply talk and enjoy our food. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

I recently visited TJS Bar and Grill for a special occasion, my partner's birthday night, as we both share a love for Indian food. We had checked online and saw that the closing time was listed as 1 am. To be sure, I called ahead to inquire if we needed to make reservations, and I was informed that they were virtually empty on Sundays, so we could simply walk in. I also asked about the kitchen's closing time, which they said was around 9:30 or 9:45, which was perfectly fine with us. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:15 and were surprised to find it nearly empty, aside from a few kids playing pool. The bartender, who attended to us, informed us that we could only have a quick drink because they would be closing soon. This was perplexing since the online information indicated a closing time of 1 am. When I inquired about the kitchen, she casually mentioned that they closed early that day. Why wasn't this communicated to us during our phone call? We requested to sit outside, as it appeared to be entirely empty, but were told we'd have to come inside when they decided to close the outside area. So, we settled for one beer and sat outside. By 9:20, the same staff member repeatedly came to our table, asking if we were done, and mentioning they'd be closing soon. However, they never closed during our stay. When we needed a lighter, we went inside to ask for one. Oddly, after handing it to us, the same staff member immediately told us they were closing and swiftly took the lighter away. It felt uncomfortable and possibly discriminatory, given that we're both brown (and she wasnt). Interestingly, other people inside weren't asked to wrap even though we were reminded numerous times. We ended up quickly finishing our drinks and leaving at 9:35. We decided to purchase something from the store across the street, and upon returning after about 15 minutes, we noticed that the restaurant was still open, with the outside section and kids still enjoying their time. If this isn't an unequal treatment based on race, I'm not sure what it is. It's disappointing to experience this in a restaurant that markets itself as offering Indian cuisine.

It was a womens only Indian dance night, which was really good.

Went for a dance party a few weeks back. Food was good but the service was terrible. There was only one counter for 200+ people; vegetarian food and dessert finished very quickly. People waited for a long time in the queue as vegetarian food was being arranged. These problems were exactly the same as in a previous event I attended at TJ's Sheepscar venue last year. - so this is clearly not a one off problem. The bar should also be better managed - service was slow and there were long queues there too. The venue is good - it would be great if the management could take note and improve the services.

I was at the Aria suite at T J's for a dance social event. It was a fab event. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love the Indian food and atmosphere overall.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Always gone past but never tried it. Went on a Friday night. Wasn't too busy. There were a few locals in, but sat in a booth out of the way. The main restaurant but wasn't open. The food came out quickly, was hot and cooked well. We got one mild and one hot curry. The hot was very hot. The mild was nice with a kick, there was a decent amount of chicken in that curry not much meat in the lamb curry. All side ordered separately .The masla fries were okay, the lamb chops small but tasty. Would visit again, and try other things from the menu.

Found this place by accident and was not disappointed. Very nice inside. Staff were so friendly, particularly Esther who greeted us and was very helpful throughout! Food was lovely! 10/10 would come back!

Tjs kindly hosted myself and my boyfriend fo try their food and what a feast we had 😋 I only have amazing words to say for it, a real independent hidden gem 🙌 They have a selection of Indian and Indo- Chinese fusion food and this whole concept is something you have to try 😍 Food: Sizzling platter - fish amritsari, chicken tikka, chicken wings, lamb chops and gilafi kebabs Mango and mint dips Cheese naan Chips Chicken noodle stir fry Chicken tikka masala Salt and pepper chicken I feel like the pictures just say it all, just look 😍 the sizzling platter was massive and a real show stopper, it definitely lives up to its name. The fish was so delicious and we demolished this and the chicken tikka was so tender and melted in your mouth 😋 the dips were that amazing we asked for more and they were so vibrant 💥 The noodles were so tasty and soft, the salt and pepper chicken was so flavourful and we didn’t realise this came with chips too so a great addition. The tikka masala was incredible, so creamy and perfect with the naans. Every dish was honestly like no other 😋 The portion sizes of everything was incredible. We ended up having some of everything left to take home and it was just as good the next day heated up so win win 🙌 The restaurant itself is also a stylish sports bar with pool tables and tvs with indoor and outdoor seating, alongside the stunning interior of the fancy dining with its stunning decor of the blossom trees. It has a brilliant atmosphere and the vibe and music complimented the whole experience 🎵 it also comprises of the aria suite which can host up to 500 people so perfect for functions 💃🏼 The service was also amazing. Esther our waitress recommended us meals and couldn’t do enough for us. Carron at @ was also just the sweetest lady ☺️ She same down especially to great us, spoke to us about the restaurant, food and our lives and was so welcoming 🥰 she made my day and out the biggest smile on my face 😀💕 Without a doubt we will be visiting again and since showing people at work, they are booking in 😋 get yourself down, you won’t be disappointed. Butter chicken was delicious! First time we went as a big group and they said some ingredients were’t enough so they replaced with something. The second time taste was so much better! I guess the chef had more time and less time pressure? Anyways, good food. They also have pool tables.

It's become bit of local icon. Now leagues above its origins as a working class social club type of venue. Credit to the family, this place keeps getting better (very nice inside). Nice that the same locals are faithfully supporting. I lived in Woodhouse for 10 years - 2003 to 2013

Quite cheap and not as noisy as the studenty pubs nearby

Visited Tjs last night for an incredible meal! The whole vibe of this place is so relaxed and fun, we sat under the blossom tree and tried some mouthwatering food! I love that you can choose what spice level to have your food at, something nowhere else does. We tried to sizzling platter, chilli Chinese chicken, paneer makhani and masala chips. We were blown away by the first bite and can’t believe the amount you get for your money! Can’t wait to come back here, it’s just too good!

The food here is absolutely delicious and delivers on so many levels. The layers of flavours in each dish, will leave you wanting more. The indochinese fusion dishes will tantalize your taste buds in a way like never before. My ultimate favourites are Chicken 65 and the Szechuan rice. You honestly will not be disappointed!!

Amazing place! The food was the best, it had so much flavour and a variety of choice. The atmosphere was so relaxed with great music to set the scene! Everything was on point down to the staff and service! Definitely would recommend and definitely will return as its a place for everyone!

Been here a few times, a clean and spacious venue. Your DJ will need to bring a good sound system to fill the room 😂. Parking is limited though for a venue that size. Pleasant staff and a good size kitchen.

The Aria Suite is a great wedding venue for an evening buffet and dance space. Tastefully trimmed up for the occasion.

Look pretty to the eye on first impressions Poor management, arrogant and selfish. They do not care about your wishes, all they care about is your money After you pay then they are difficult to find. Dirty glasses Cutlery and crockery is standard. The recommended waiters are useless and clock watch. They will leave in the middle of services. Changing room I was locked in 3 times. Very small car park. I was told I could apply to the university to park in their car park, they do not give permission that's a lie. The door is always locked and no one to be found. In the tiny little kitchen none of the equipment work. No washing up facilities. As for the bar next door , rough with drugs smoking. Disappointed customers.

Tjs is a cool pub to visit but I can't comment on the Aria suite as I haven't had the need to visit

As a wedding venue for my friends wedding, it was a good space and with clean toilets too.

Nice food and drink! cheap! Good atmosphere!
