Tingley Chinese in Leeds

Sorry I am a regular customer but the steamed pancakes were forgotten but then arrived but ordered sweet and sour sauce but this was missed off

First time ordering from tingley Chinese and it didn’t disappoint. Very hot and fresh and fast really good quality will order again in future ! Super nice

Ordered satay chicken and satay tofu, not like any satay sauce we’ve ever tasted and not in a good way… not peanuty. Singapore chow mein were just standard chow mein. Only nice dish was the salt and pepper chicken wings

Zero if possible, food has no flavour

So disappointed! The food was not up to the normal standards. We order from this chinese all the time but this time we both said it was it was not nice. We even queried if it was from Tingley Chinese, it was that bad. The chips were frozen chips and not cooked properly. My main meal had very little flavour to it. Won’t be ordering again.

Best chicken satay I've ever had! all the meals came really hot, fresh and delicious 😋

lovely food just a pity the delivery driver spilled the contents of the bag all over. more curry in the bag than dishes and it was all over the containers

Quality overall very hit and miss considering item costs The chiw mein was very poor, watery and wasn't appetising to eat. The chicken in the sweet and sour was dry and over cooked. Tbe third main dish ordered was fine, but overall disappointed £40,

Small portion size , no salt on chips not enought meat on the rib cost too much considering portion size

it was really expensive hardly any food for £25

Poor quality, wouldn’t order the crispy beef , more like chewy jello beef . The Spare ribs were awful as well .

Chichen balls were very over cooked and thus too crispy and hard to cut most went in the bin as the chichen inside was then dry and awful

Tiny potions of Special FooYung and Special Curry !! Special Fried Rice in normal container Food definitely second rate and regret ordering from them !! Will never order from them again !!! Would never ever recommend anyone to order anything from them !!

The prawn crackers tasted horrible and so did the chicken balls....old oil!!! The chilli beef, satay pork and rice were ok!

My favorite Chinese by far! Had many other chinese takeaways but none in my opinion can beat here.

Moved away from the area and haven’t been able to find a Chinese as good as this. Very good food.

Very nice Chinese food from tingley chinese. It’s been our favourite for a lot of years. Food always hot and freshly made and delivered quickly too. Staff are ok. As of September 2022 it has a 4 out of 5 for food hygiene rating which is good from U.K. food hygiene standards. Wouldn’t order again! Beef curry tasted like fresh air( tasteless) Spare ribs were pure bone, chips drip white and the shocking portion of salt and pepper chicken wasn’t even chicken! What have I just eaten? Wasn’t good for my IBS

How do you know if its coming!? Ordered it, moneys gone out of my account, hour and half later...still no food. No one ever answers the phone. Daren't put cooker on incase the bloody thing turns up?? 😡

Always used to like This Chinese not any more orderd 1st time in ages it took 1 and half hour for delivery won't be ordering any more disappointing.

Ordered a takeaway (yes late on a Sunday night) but it suspiciously arrived in 15 mins and it’s a 5 min drive away at least). Red curry was disgusting no flavour, weird colour and cold. Rice portion was petty, and duck spring rolls was more like veg spring rolls, and one out of four had a really funny taste AVOID!!

Hot and sour soup should be called a water soup! Chicken wings uncooked properly! It's not a Chinese it's something else I'm sure! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️💩💩💩

The food I can not fault however we ordered at 6:30 and our food was not delivered until 20:44 we were told there would be a maximum of 1 1/2 hours wait when we ordered which we accepted but to wait over 2 hours and 15 minutes is ridiculous! we’ve been customers for years but the service is now unacceptable, this is happening on regular basis!! If the kitchen can’t cope with the orders you really do have to have a cut off point so you can deliver within a reasonable timescale!!! Unfortunately because of the time it’s taken to deliver (again) and for it to be luke warm when it eventually arrived we will not order from here again

Ordered food online and booked for 6.30 as you can choose a time online, rang just after 7 and got the same old tune of ‘we’re really busy’ and they don’t have control of their website for times!! So don’t bother ordering online! When the food eventually arrived it was very bland, had no taste, threw it away, safe to say won’t be using again!!! Don’t bother with them!!!

Placed an order online paid by card, this was seven o'clock. Nothing arrived by half eight I called to be told by a very rude female that the order would arrive around nine. When I asked why she said they were really busy and it was my own fault for not ringing them to find out the delivery waiting time before using the online service. She offered a refund which would reach my bank in five working days then told me to cancel it or get off the telephone and wait because I was blocking calls for other people. First and last time I will use them awful service and I haven't even tried the food yet!!!

Avoid. Food was totally disgusting. Had to throw the majority of it away. Chips were undercooked and still hard. It was basically a meal of undercooked food swimming in oil. Half an hour late and they are down the road from my house. And the delivery driver wore his mask round his neck, got way too close. Wow. Dont waste your money. Go elsewhere. Disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting!!! and I haven't even started on the food. We ordered from here after hearing it was under new management hoping the food has improved. We never found out whether the food has improved as our order never arrived. After waiting 30 minutes OVER the estimated delivery time we called to check how far along they were and assured us it was on its way. As we were only round the corner and another 10 minutes had passed we called back to check they had the correct address. They said they never received our order and that WE must have called another Chinese after speaking to them for the third time. What a joke, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

tiny portions even though we ordered specials, delivery 25 mins later than advised, food cold, chips like bullets, special curry was like dishwater. only went here as local chinese was closed...never again, would rather starve ( which we did )

Should have read reviews first. Prompt delivery so no probs there. Food was just bland tasteless and very dry overcooked ..it's been a while since I ordered from here unfortunately probably the last time ...£25 wasted

I will one star for the prawn tost we ordered beef chow mein beef in blackbean sauce and ok rib that wasn't ok all of it tasteless

Watery chowmein. Ribs where just bone. And sweet and sour Cantonese was just bland. Awful food. Never again!

Ordered a simple chicken curry and rice, god knows what the meat was but it had never seen chicken, this takeaway used to be so good not now Avoid 🤮🤮

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If I could give no stars I would. Just had a takeaway at £30. All of the meat we ordered was over cooked and dry, the chips were hard (like they’d been re warmed). Called the takeaway to advise we were not happy with the food, I asked for a partial refund or credit for another order. Was denied both and just fobbed off! NEVER AGAIN!!

Absolutely Disgusting service...ordered a takeaway at 5.2pm. ..rang at 6.20pm to be told it would be delivered in 15 mins..nearly 2 hours later still no delivery. ..tried ringing them to cancel the order ..constantly engaged. They turned up 2 HOURS after I ordered !! I refused the order due to the fact I had started to cook a meal...totally appalling service !! Will never ever use them again !!

Shocking!! Asked for my meal with no prawns (if I eat them I get seriously poorly) I got the order just about to set off the woman came out and said did you ask for it with no prawns so said yes and they had put them on but then said we will sort it out but all they did was take the big bits of prawn out in stead of making another one! But maybe if they had people who are more interested in what you are ordering instead of people who are more interested in there phone we might actually get some where!! so if you have an allergy I would avoid this place because you ask for it without they still put it in and then only remove so much of it so you can still end up ill

Good service quick delivery and fantastic food definitely use again

Foods nice, quite pricy tho as chips or rice not included (cost xtra ) then theres a £2 delivery fee! And if you order through just eat minimum spend of £15 =£17 with delivery a lot to spend when you only want 2 meals.

The meat all tasted the same, very bland even tho ordered 3 different meals they all tasted the same. wont be ordering from there again
