I had the great pleasure of returning to my favourite restaurant of all time. I know it's not just me that finds the food unbelievably good, as every one I talk to loves the place. If you like this type of food then this has to be the number one pick in the whole of Dorset. If you want to treat someone close to you, then I would highly recommend Tien Thai Broadstone. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

Nothing was particularly bursting with flavour unfortunately. Felt rushed to leave which is a shame as hadn’t seen my friend for a long time, was interrupted by the waiter so he could take our food order but we felt rushed so didn’t even have time to even look over the menu properly. Won’t return.

What a find ! A sensational meal, served by people who really care about quality. Lovely atmosphere, an interesting menu (something for everyone), and such friendly owners. Probably the best Thai meal I've had. This restaurant is on our MUST RETURN list anytime we are in the Poole area.

The best Thai in Dorset. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. We always look forward to our meals here.

First time visiting this restaurant as we had travelled from Leeds to meet family. Lovely clean restaurant with great, welcoming staff! Great menu choice and drinks. Had the chicken pad Thai which was plentiful, fresh and tasted amazing . Would definately visit again next time I’m in the area 10/10

The food at Tiien Thai is quite possibly the best Thai food I’ve had. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants around the country and the Red Thai Curry here beats all others that I have had, hands down. All food was amazing, the service was wonderful and the staff were very welcoming. Would recommend this to restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food!

Tiien never disappoints. The beef massaman and the prawn cashew stir fry is fantastic and the staff are always so friendly.

The best restaurant in broadstone! We had the prawns and chicken satay to start followed by 2 panang curries. The food is glorious and the service is top class. I come with my partner, friends and family- it’s really a great spot to take anybody. If I could give more then 5 stars I would - cannot recommend more!

We went to Tiien Thai to celebrate our son’s 16th Birthday. His favourite spot!! A busy Friday but the food was on point as always, so delicious. We were very well looked after. Highly recommended for family and friends groups.

I've eaten here a few times before always a very warm welcome from the owner and her staff and family. Served fast and excellent food even for me who is Gluten Free and often eating out there is limited choice. Oh no plenty to choose from and truly delicious food every mouthful. Well recommended place to eat out.

What a fantastic restaurant, we had our first visit last night and I loved everything about the place . Food was incredible and good choice of Lager and the staff were amazing. We will definitely be going back .

Lovely evening as always. Food delicious and service friendly. Really appreciated that there wasn’t any loud music as often difficult for those with a hearing impairment to follow the conversation. Hadn’t told them it was a birthday dinner but they picked up on this and gave Dad ice cream and banana fritters with a candle. Nice touch.

I generally order the same thing at most Thai restaurants so that I can compare and contrast. Tom kai soup, dim sum, chicken panang curry and sticky rice. I used to go to a restaurant in Ringwood called Alisala Thai but it suddenly closed about 10 years ago (now an Italian). This was the best, luckily I found this one as this is very similar and authentic. I would definitely suggest the soup for a starter as its so nice. Dim sum is also nice...and so is the price! £8 which is very expensive for 3 small pieces (owner is planning on increasing it to 4 pieces). Compared to most other Thai restaurants in the area at £6.95 for more pieces that are bigger. The Panang and sticky rice is really nice, the flavours are multilayered and exceptional! The restaurant has a nice clean atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and warm, they make you feel very welcome and appreciate your custom. It is expensive compared to other Thai restaurants, the dishes are very nice. Other restaurants give value for money. The other restaurants in the area can be a little bit inconsistent in their quality of dishes. Food quality food found at Tiien is really nice and IS consistent in top tier flavours, its been the same for the last 10+ years since we have been going. Overall, I feel this is my favourite Thai restaurant, in my opinion, some dishes are too small and don't represent value for money, I'd like to see a bit more on the plate and less coming out of my wallet. I understand inflation has effected prices but other restaurants can do it without effecting quality largely. I'm trying to give a fair experience for my review. I keep coming back because of the flavours, the atmosphere at the restaurant and how nice the staff are. Such a lovely bunch of people. I like seeing the chefs cooking at the other end of the restaurant too.

we come here on a very regular basis, and everytime the food is outstanding! the staff are so so friendly and welcoming, and we can honestly say we’ve never had a disappointing meal :) having visited numerous different thai restaurants around the area, this is by far our favourite, 10/10 would definitely recommend!

We have been coming to Tiien Thai since they opened 12 years ago and we absolutely love it! The food is delicious, colourful and always super fresh! The staff are very friendly especially Ning who is dedicated to providing excellent service. As a family who eat regularly around Dorset, we all agree that it is hard to find a better meal out. In conclusion, you should definitely eat here.

Had the Duck in Tamarind sauce. Not cheap at £22. Over half was fat or skin, certainly not "melt in the mouth". Very disappointed.

What a brilliant restaurant, the food is to die for and the staff were so helpful and friendly, I love the fact that they have no table cloths as it looks so more authentic without them. This is a must go to restaurant.

Once again the food in The Tien restaurant was excellent but one thing I feel lets the restaurant down is the lack of table cloths and linen napkins. Before Covid times there were lovely white linen table cloths and napkins on tables but obviously due to restrictions during these time they were removed. Other restaurants in Broadstone such as The Moonlight and The 29020 serve their meals on tablecloths as one would expect. Tien is a lovely restaurant but having to eat your meal off a wooded table top seems to detract from the ambience and dining experience. It might sound petty but why not reinstate them - cost??

The BEST Thai food I have ever eaten. Extremely fresh and full of flavour. The staff are amazing and the restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean/ well maintained.

Our go to thai, everytime we go or get a takeaway (more of the latter in recent times) we leave feeling nice and full. Quality of food and ingredients are always top notch, nice atmosphere in the restaurant and staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Had a takeaway here 2 weeks ago the lady said it was 25 % off pick up the food was more like a Chinese and was awful will not be going there ever again and pricey still will not be going there again ..

I really can’t wait for the end of lockdown so that we can go back to this restaurant. In the meantime, their takeaway offering fills the gap. Every single item we’ve had from their menu is excellent, with a special mention for the duck in tamarind sauce and the fish choo chee which we had tonight. Thanks folks, and we look forward to coming back in person as soon as we can.

We live in Broadstone and have been to Tiien Thai many times. We went on Christmas Eve for an alternative to Christmas dinner and as usual it was great. We shared the Duck and Pancakes starter, my husband had Tiger Prawn sweet and sour stir fry, I had Tiger Prawn stir fry with cashew nuts and chilli, we shared a coconut rice and steamed veg, all delicious. Service is brilliant, spotlessly clean and Covid friendly. Would highly recommend a visit here.

Can recommend the duck in tamarind and beef in black bean sauce. Clean and spacious. Very good service. Reasonable pricing. Plenty of parking around the nearby streets. Enjoyed the pineapple and the banana fritters. Ice cream could be better as it didn't taste of anything.

Booked 10 Days in advance for my Hubby birthday.... today I‘Ve called to ask if the could change the time to 8:30 from 6:30 and they said they couldn’t because they had a table booked at 9pm.So my hubby left work early to make it..... as soon as we get in we had 2minutes before they ask as for drinks and 5 min to order food!!! We order starters and mains in the same times because we have 17, 11 and 4 years old 5 x starters , 2 mains and 4 sides .... food arrived quickly ... and we were enjoy our dinner eating slowly Ma laying family games....3 times the waiter come around to ask if we finished !!! At the 3rd time I said yes and I Asked to pay the bill!!!! Owner , young waiter and senior waiter come to clean our table!! We felt suffocated!! I never felt so rush in my life we went in at 6:35pm out at 7:25pm!! Table next to us was there before us and when we left they were still having main courses!!!!We were regulars before , you would have thought you have some kind of nice service because of it!!I pay my bill come to £63 On EOHO discount...not leave any tips and said I will never be back! The owner try to blame the young waiter but really he was not him at all!!! I’m a waitress myself and never ever will behave in this way!I have always recommended Tiien!! Not anymore!!! I’m so upset they ruin my hubby’s birthdays and family night out .... they do not give us food at half price they will claim that 50% back!! So there are no reason for this kind of service!

An excellent meal in friendly surroundings. The main issue is that all the food we chose was so good that we’d have it next time - but we also want to work our way through the extensive menu. Oh well, we’ll just have to come back - no great hardship! Apart from the staff wearing masks, you’d have no idea what the country is going through. I appreciate the escape from our current reality.

I was staying in Broadstone for a couple of nights and visited here. Excellent food and well organised for CV19 protection. I ate Dim Sum for starter and Green Curry for main. Both very good. Worth a visit

Perched off the main road, this is a nice discovery! Warm cosy atmosphere with a impressive menu which is quite authentic. Very well managed by lady owner serving chilled Singha Beer and Thai smile! Would surely recommend.

Today I got a takeaway from this restaurant . I love my Thai food but was wholly unimpressed with everything about the three main dishes I ordered. The amount was shocking for the £12.95 they charge. Very bland tasting food .Maybe their lunchtime chef is different from the evening , but I won’t be going again .£32.00 wasted

Ordered through just eat on nye, after allowing 5 mins after the collection time to pick up, had to wait over an hour in the restaurant to be keep being told it would be ready in 5 mins. I asked for a refund to only be told that I couldn’t have one as ordered through just eat. Told to give them a call. Only after asking for the manager, who I spoke to over the phone did I get a refund.

When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff who were a bit surprised as they said we had not booked a table with them. It turned out we had booked their Bournemouth restaurant by mistake but they were very obliging and rang Bournemouth and explained our mistake. Consequently we had a very pleasant evening with wonderful food and service and would thoroughly recommend this Tai restaurant.

A bit sparsely decorated resulting in relatively poor ambience - something on the walls wouldn't be amiss which would go some way toward absorbing the noise level.

Haven't visit here for far too long. We were the only people there for lunch today. Excellent tempura vegetables. Dad had Satay chicken which he very much enjoyed. Dad had sweet and sour chicken with a noodle side. Mum had sweet and sour prawns, I had the fish choo chee which at my request was made mild to medium was excellent and my parents were full of praise for their dishes. Mum and I had the banana coconut scrummy. Dad had the lychees on ice which I pinched a couple of. Excellent service and cooking. Such a shame more people don't visit for lunch. My only criticism would be the rather loud music.
