Good beer prices.great staff especially Joe.

Popular pun in centre. Always busy with good atmosphere.

Only park outside it whìlst my friend shopped at Superdrug n KFC.

Only parked in front of it.whilst my friend went into SUPER DRUG. n watched the old men smoking bye the door.say on the window it's good for watching Horse Racing.

Beer was good. Was busy and had some nice chats with other people. Had a talk with the local DJ. It's fine for a local.

Full of crack heads and folk who want to fight.

Great music good atmosphere too.

Nice place to visit landlady always dress the pub up on all occasions specially Christmas it has more lights than Blackpool 😀

Bar staff wanna learn how to smile more.. especially that young lad with the hair ,, seen happier faces at a funeral.

Good beer, with pleasant bar staff. They have quiz nights and karaoke disco nights. As for festivities, the land lady goes mental. If you want to enjoy your surroundings at Christmas, Halloween, Easter, football, anytime, this is the place around Heckmondwike/Liversedge to go!

This is the best pub In Heckmondwike, Debbie and Terry go above and beyond in welcoming you in to a great atmosphere, there's always a theme going on with decorations throughout, they never miss a trick. This pub is a credit to the area and is well worth a visit.

I'm a Batley bloke but spend plenty of time in the wike horse it's always enjoyable good laugh staff and locals are great never any bother cheap prices all in all the wike horse is a good place to visit 😀

Best pub in the area. No one else comes close. Always friendly banter and a great community feel.

Very rude staff advertise a drink on offer only to be charged full price at the bar for it, go question them about it expecting a refund and apology only to be told its the price on the till so its tuff no refund or apology what a farse very very rude staff.

Clean and pleasant staff (lunchtime)

Don't expect an upmarket fancy wine bar or gin palace... its Heckmondwike! This is a boozer, they do beer crisps and nuts, pool nights and music (dj & karaoke etc.) and a cracking barbecue when the weather is good. If you are expecting more than that you are not in the wrong pub but the wrong town!

dont know how this pub as got into been quite i went in there one night and after my one pint i had to leave it was way to noisy
