Best pub in the heath. Great staff and clientele.

Came here for a bit of karaoke and a few drinks great atmosphere and staff and great DJ Tony I will be coming here again to perform Roy Orbison with wig and glasses and have a great time

Good local pub full of crack pots but friendly enough

The white lion has recently acquired top class chef who intends to start trading as soon as possible after a very successful first day on Sunday the 31st of July was a total sell out and the feed back from the customers was 5 star

Not having been here for a couple of years it was good to see the "new" White Lion aka The Lion on the Heath. Very clean, well layed out and a renewed beer garden. Rumour has it they will be doing pizzas but looking at the clientel I'm not convinced it will take off...hope I'm wrong though. Excellent live music with Tony Banks tickling the ivories (synthesised of course and not the Genesis guy). Afternoons seem to cater mainly for sport fans, horse racing being the main choice on the TV screens. Prices are acceptable with a decent range of beers but only keg available, in fairness I doubt whether real ale on hand pumps would sell...mainly lagers and smooths. Final comment would be that it's infinitely better than the hell hole over the road (New Crown Inn).

The bartender was extremely nice and conversed about the local area. They had karaoke and the overall crowd was very nice.

Used 2 play pool in there long time ago, moved away but still gud pub 4 the local community

Not a great choice of beer but what was on offer was well served and served with a smile.
