We went there because an episode of Doctor Who was filmed here. We popped in on our way home from West Wales. It's a gorgeous country pub with beautiful decor. The landlady was friendly and welcoming (as were the regulars) and the drinks were reasonably priced. It's a real community pub where everyone knows each other, looks after each other, and cares for each other.

Accidentally stepped on some cotton and now there’s an odd figure standing 73 yards away from me that I can see from the window. It just made a local run for the hills. What should I do?

Set in the countryside , fantastic views ,,, warmest of welcoming , interesting engaging locals ,,, well tended beers and ciders ,, hearty meals offerings. If you want an old fashioned country pub with a warm welcome and the finest beers at cheap prices, then this is the place for you. This is the best pub around by a country mile. Mair is a brilliant landlady and knows more about beer than 99.9% of publicans. Pubs like this are a dying breed so please consider giving it your support. Diolch.

This is a charity run church business. The welcome is always warm. The food is freshly prepared and the prices are reasonable. Although this is a Christian run cafe religion isn't thrust upon you. My family goes there regularly. Overall a worm, welcoming cafe.
