Came in for food after the journey home from London Landmarks half marathon. I had the tagliatelle with chicken - absolutely stunning. It was so fresh and perfectly seasoned and a nice big portion size. Washed down with a couple of pints of Guinness. Perfect end to the weekend. Highly recommended!

First time having Sunday dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and we couldn’t ask for better. However it was a slow wait to order food at the beginning. Ordered bread which would have been nice to come before the starter and not with them. And we also had to ask three times for water on our table. When the roast dinner came it was very very cold, the only thing that made it nice was the hot gravy to put on top. Probably wouldn’t come again. But front of house staff were so lovely! We spent £100+ for 3 people and it was most definitely not worth the value.

A joint 60th & 30th birthday for a Dad and his daughter. Fantastic staff, food and atmosphere. This was our 3rd visit and we can’t wait to go back… the Sunday lunch is awesome.

Very busy and noisy but food was lovely so put up with the noise.

Brilliant place and the best steak I think I've ever had in the UK - surpasses Miller & Carter, hands down. Lovely staff and atmosphere. They made a fuss of one of our party who was celebrating a birthday with a birthday greeting, cocktail and sparkler - just little things that made a big difference. An absolute gem of a place, would highly recommend.

Food underwhelming & overpriced. Very, very noisy, even when venue was only half full, due to very high vaulted ceilings, not conducive to normal conversation at table.

Held my 50th Birthday Celebrations in the VIP & Marquee Area . Alan was very efficient from day 1 of booking the venue to the night of the celebrations.. food was amzing & would highly recommend Ten Degrees !

Tried out the new vegetarian choices on the menu this week My husband has been a vegetarian for 40 years the great thing about the new menu at 10 degrees is have first some choice of dishes but secondly the quality and exceptional standard of the dishes We shared 2 starters between us the cauliflower croquette - absolutely stunning everything you love about cauliflower cheese in every mouthful, crunchy on the outside but also with some amazing puree and pickled cauliflower that adds texture and flavours It was hard to choose a favourite but that was mine , my husband’s was the mushroom tart , such a fine crispy case , really rich mushroom mouse with different mushrooms and a delicate and lovely tang For our mains we had the tagliatelle with courgette , peas and pesto , absolutely delicious , beautifully presented , loads of flavour the pesto undertone tasted fresher than I had expected stunning ! The other main we ordered was the slow roasted celeriac, I’m not a big fan of celeriac so was a bit dubious on my first taste but OMG it was absolutely amazing! The depth of flavour in the mushroom broth was unbelievable ( I would have licked my plate clean if I was at home ) little touches of some slow roasted mushrooms and onions and some puree just added to the dish We also ordered the carrots and almonds side dish - now that was a side dish that was elevated beyond any side dish I have had , I could have eaten that as a main The almond paste the roasted carrots were on was delicious and I couldn’t get enough of it all the touches of the crispy carrot slithers just added to the look and the texture and taste of the whole dish To go with our meal we had cocktails and mocktails , wine The service was excellent great staff welcoming and friendly, lovely relaxing atmosphere Can’t wait to go again

Brilliant service and food at ten degrees. It was our first time here and definitely won’t be our last. Sunday roasts aren’t usually the best in restaurants but this was the best roast I’ve had in a restaurant!! The beef was cooked how it should be and there was plenty of food to go with it. Delicious! The service was brilliant and a great selection of cocktails. We will be back!

Ten degrees has been on my list for ages, we finally got around to going there for Sunday lunch yesterday and what a disappointment. The food was lovely, it could have been a bit warmer but was nice and presentable however the service was a massive let down and I will not return. It wasn’t a warm welcome, very slow and understaffed. We was not asked if we wanted sauces, if the food was ok, if we wanted another drink, our empty plates were in front of us for around 40 minutes, no one even come to ask if we wanted dessert, we had to get up and go to the bar to ask to pay. Once our order was taken we did not have service. You are very understaffed which has let you down massively. The restaurants social media is very good at making it look something it’s not, quite a rough area outside, there is no castle view as made out to be on social media.

Highly recommend 10 Degrees. I had my Baby Shower there on Saturday and all of the staff were so helpful and did a great job to help make my day special. We had the Afternoon Tea picnic baskets which were lovely, food there is great, so are the cocktails. I used the VIP Marquee area which they did a great job setting up for me. Special thanks to Rachel, Helen, Alan, Charlotte and of course the Chefs for dealing with my booking of 26! Look forward to visiting again soon

Excellent Sunday Lunch, good service and well designed restaurant and cocktail lounge.

Food was fine, went there for lunch it wasn't really busy but food took ages to come and staff room a while too. Overpriced I think for what it was, I asked for the service charge to be taken off as I'm happy to pay for it when it's deserved, this was a time I felt. It wasn't. I've been here twice now and visually it looks lovely but with everything else there are much better experiences to have in Caerphilly.

Love this place, the food and the staff. Would definitely recommend anyone to try. Quite reasonably priced also for the quality of food and cocktails

Exceptional service, food and location. Festive afternoon tea was superb especially as it came with additional savoury items, such as, pigs in blankets, gravy roast potatoes, stuffing and Yorkshire puddings. Sandwiches were light and so delicious on a focaccia bread, and the cakes were delicious. Also, get a cocktail while you are there, you'll not be disappointed.

We went there for our Christmas works do, service you couldn't fault, both Harry and Charlotte were fab, they looked after our table, excellent service from them both

Visited with the family on Sunday 17/12. Hands down the best Sunday lunch. Fab atmosphere and friendly staff.

Food was lovely but the starter was a bit cold but didn't spoil the evening - we had a lovely time. Could have finished later.

As a vegan I could have only one choice of starter, main and dessert but they were delicious. The service was excellent and the price was value for money.

First time @ 10 degrees this evening, We had some lovely food, great service & atmosphere, Thank-you we will be back.

A stunningly elegant restaurant and cocktail bar situated right in the heart of Caerphilly Town. 10 Degrees stands head and shoulders above anything Caerphilly has to offer and is a truly unique experience. They have a huge selection of drinks, from craft cocktails made with meticulous care an extensive wine collection and of course your true and tested premium lagers and ciders you can expect to find at most restaurants. The dinning experience is where 10 Degrees truly shines. having confirmed our booking we were escorted to our seats and offered menus. The staff were quick to come to us to see if we would like to order drinks while we had time to examine the mouthwatering selection of food they had on offer. We choose to have some nibbles while we waited. The olives, sourdough bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and also the smoked Almonds and I have to say as simple as it all sounds it was really something special. I personally loved everything and didn't leave much for the staff to take away. For starters I had the pan fried scallops with a parsnip pure and chorizo. The scallops where firm yet succulent and perfectly accompanied with the parsnip snd chorizo giving a lovely contrast between flavours. For the main event of the evening I went for the Brecon lamb rump. This was the standout. the beef was tender, flavourful and juciey just how lamb should be and served with celeriac and potato roasti, apricot gel, tenderstem brocoli and cumin jes. You can really tell that that alot of love and passion is put into everything that 10 Degrees offers you and you will be made to feel comfortable and respected by everyone. I have Coeliac disease! (Wheat free!) I contacted Ten Degrees when I booked to make sure they could cater for my issue & was assured they had GF on the menu! I ordered the shin of beef (GIF) when it arrived I questioned the crispy onion on it, the manager checked and said that was ok BUT.. The beef wasn't!!! It was braised in Guinness which isn't gluten free 😠 Also I ended up with chips & gravy!

Beautiful place, delicious food, great atmosphere. Value for money, no fault at all. The stuff were friendly and attentive. Thank you very much Helen for sorting a couple of things out during our visit. Definitely go back again and highly recommend a visit if your looking for a good night and lovely food.

I booked Ten Degrees to hold my friends hen and they were amazing from start to finish. They were very responsive (even to my many emails), helpful in the run up to the event and couldn't do enough on the day itself! All the staff were friendly, professional, helpful and went above and beyond. The marquee is a brilliant space and perfect for group events. The buffet and 2 course evening meal was excellent, everyone commented on how good the food was. Food came out quickly and all together which we were really happy with as a group of 31. I highly recommend Ten degrees for food, events and the lovely staff. You really helped make her hen perfect ❤️ thank you so much

Booked a table with extra room, due to bringing a baby in a pram. Table and space was perfect. Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and chatted with us prior to us ordering. Food was delicious and the dessert were amazing, especially as mine had a candle in it - celebrating my birthday. Overall a lovely evening out.

Enjoyed a great lunch with the family after visiting Caerphilly Castle. Tasty food, pleasant staff, good sized portions and they were very understanding of our son’s food allergies.

Attended a family wake recently, where the staff were wonderful & very attentive. They took care of everything and there was plenty of fabulous buffet food & unlimited tea, coffee, soft drinks and they were back and fore making sure everything was running smoothly throughout & that no-one needed anything, so thank you all so much, it was really appreciated. There is a bar area in the room, but we didn't require this, as the main bar is very close to the room for those that needed it.

I've been to ten degrees a few times now, its great for high quality food and drinks, or a night out.. they've struck a good balance of both under one roof. We always receive a lovely welcome and goodbye, the staff are always friendly and professional. We had lunch there today celebrating a special occasion and Charlotte was our waitress who was very attentive and accommodating. She really added to our experience and is the perfect personality for such a great venue. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she's a great representative of the business. We also met one of the owners, his wife and their food-photographer who were also lovely to speak to, very accommodating and we were able to try some desserts being photographed for the website. Such a great experience there today..I can't wait to go back to try their bottomless brunches and sunday lunch! We've been meaning to for ages! Can't recommend this place enough! 👍

Held my afternoon wedding reception here, have to say the food was excellent and the location looked incredible. I think there could have been another member on bar staff during the day but otherwise everything was superbly done. The staff were very helpful, food came to the tables in a timely manner. All in all i would thoroughly recommend holding a function here.

Aaron and Oliver were amazing hosts, they made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. We've often celebrated birthdays and other big events here and they've always been spot on in terms of service, food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend - this is a great asset to the area!

My husband and I booked our wedding reception here, we hired out the marquee and VIP room, and it definitely did not disappoint. After months of planning, Ten Degrees knocked it out of the park on the day, and it did not go unnoticed with our guests either. The venue is gorgeous to begin with, but when all dressed up for a wedding reception, it is simply stunning. The staff gave us full flexibility on food and drink choices and order of the day, as well as many other factors. We thought it, and they made it happen. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to make our wedding reception complete. All the staff worked so hard from first guests arriving until the last one left, checking everyone was having a good time, providing seamlessly great service. A special mention to Alan, who every guest said how hard he worked all day to make the day a success - thank you! It goes without saying how amazing the food was. Good quality and fresh ingredients to make an unforgettable wedding breakfast. We had the freedom and flexibility to create our own menu for the day which was just fantastic. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Ten Degrees for a smashing day!

Absolutely delighted with this restaurant. Alan took care of us tonight with a friendly disposition and a confidence about the menu that encouraged us to order more. The guy at the bar who seated us was also friendly and polite. Food was a culinary delight. Would highly recommend the Salmon Rillette and the fried Gnocchi with charred greens . Wine list is pitched perfectly to the foods. Very reasonable for excellent food.

Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things to do for special occasions and have been to a number of places in and around South Wales over the years. Today I was treated to the signature summer picnic afternoon tea by good friends and I can honestly say it's one of the best I've tried. The range of food on offer was great - a good balance of savouries (sausage rolls, croquettes, sandwiches (something for veggies and meaties) and cakes (eton mess, brownies and scones with cream and jam); generous portions, service was excellent (thank you Alan!😊), atmosphere just right and it was nice to see babies (there was an adorable 5 month old in our party) and children dining there - which says a lot about how family friendly it felt. I have already looked at the Sunday lunch menu and plan to return very very soon!

Lovely food, portion sizes a little on the small side. Served by three different waiters throughout the evening some of which had an attitude problem. Will return back as the food is lovely but some extra staff training is needed.

We enjoyed the food they overcharged for our meal and the someone else's food it was more expensive and me and my partner and the fed they would give us the money back for the bill we paid on accident what about lady give us but it wasn't ours they did not give us the all the money it was leaffold not I was but they just kept saying it was our fault so if I was you don't recommend having food here just have an agent because they will very happily take all your money off here so if he was an option to rate this place as a zero I would because the experience was awful even the waiters and our people and and the people who own the restaurant not very good so I would be it as a zero if I could so do not go here if you want food just go there for drink

Brilliant food. I visit the restaurant regularly for breakfast and it never fails to deliver! Amazing venue, immaculately well presented. Attentive and friendly staff who are always around if you need anything at all. I'd highly recommend a visit!

Amazing food, fantastic service, and a really lively atmosphere

Went for a private party. Whole place is lovely, the private party area is set up well and has its own bar. The food was tapas/small plates; really tasty, well presented and fairly quick to arrive. We had the sharer platter for 2; meats, cheese, houmous, bread and red peppers. Along with the 10 degrees chips (covered in a fantastic mustard/mayo sauce). Excellent choices and worth ordering. Downside was they couldn't seem to cope with orders from the private party and the restaurant when it got busy - something that clearly needs to be considered in future. There was a pause on all food ordered from the private party side, which was unexpected. Great overall and would definitely go back to eat in the restaurant or attend a private function.

The restaurant stayed open so we could eat after finishing work late. Fiona and the rest of the staff were so kind and bubbly and Fiona gave great recommendations ☺️

An absolutely wonderful venue, great atmosphere with even better food and excellent service, a particular shout out to Fiona who was incredibly helpful, and a great laugh. Keep up the good work!
