They organise great events. The food is lovely and there is always a great atmosphere

Unfortunately, this was an incredible let-down. The social media present this place as something it's definitely not. We went on the weekend with my parents visiting and hoped for a nice meal. My Dad's rib-eye steak was completely inedible. Usually my favourite cut, this was totally massacred. Burnt on the outside and so very tough and chewy it was quite a workout to even attempt to eat it and we had to send it back. To give credit to staff, on a very busy night they were all polite, attentive and replaced the dish with no problems and with apologies. The rest of the food - salmon, turkey and braised beef shin - was mediocre, lukewarm and underseasoned. On top of everything, it was unbelievably loud. We could not hear each other, let alone the waitress, and conversation during the meal was impossible. Style over substance. Will not be going back.

Wow - what a fantastic place to visit in Caerphilly. We came for the Christmas event - The Upbeat Beatles. We were all blown away from start to finish We were warmly greeted before we even stepped into the restaurant by stunning, beautiful and elegant Christmas decorations and lighting. The staff were brilliant, they couldn’t do enough for us, so polite and friendly. The food was second to none, totally delicious, so mouthwatering and the presentation was first class - so compliments to the chefs. Then the entertainment- Wow, double Wow -the Upbeat Beatles, they were absolutely amazing. Thank you Martin for going to great lengths to bring these guys to your venue, it was a fabulous experience and hopefully we’ll see them again here next Christmas. X

Visited for Sunday lunch, we booked quite late so needed to sit in the bar area, but the atmosphere and seating there was still really lovely. Food was delicious, fantastic vegetarian options. Would recommend.

After reading the previous reviews not sure why we had a bad experience at 10 degrees ! We booked a Christmas party for our gym , each paying £50 for a three course meal , 90 minutes of an open bar and entertainment ! The 3 course meal never materialised and morphed into a very mediocre buffet , very limited food , mainly thin slices of focaccia bread with minimal fillings, a few pieces of chicken goujons and mini quiches with chips ! The free cocktails were very unexceptional , the gin and tonics were almost undrinkable as the tonic had no fizz . The tonic from a dispenser was completely flat , a glass of plain water would have tasted better ! Despite our disappointment , as a group we had a good time but cannot recommend the place for a return visit , very disappointed

Bottomless brunch attended this weekend. Poor quality drink selection (no lager, no cider only pre mixed pink and blue panda pop with apparently vodka pre mixed in jugs that we werent even allowed to pour ourselves or prosecco, both of which i drink neither of so wouldn't have attended had i known this) Substandard buffet although we were under the impression this was a meal.. We had frozen French fries in a bowl and goujons and some dry giant loaves of bread with some filling in but the amount of bread was way too much. (Hardly £6 a head) No fresh food, a leaf or grape would have been nice Bonkers bingo was fun and the Dj was good, but only one prize given that I could see Pretty poor value for money at £49.50 a head. Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend either We enjoyed ourselves but it wasn't because of the venue or the service we received. I dined in today with a friend of mine for Sunday lunch. My friend had the turkey and I had the beef. The beef was cooked beautifully, however the slices were cut incredibly thin and there was a lot of fat. The roast potatoes were abysmal and tasted no better than Aunt Bessies frozen. The veg and gravy were lovely, however there was no where near enough for 2 people. Really shy portions which was disappointing as 1 course cost £18.95. They also added on a £4.99 service charge and over charged us for our olive starter. The venue was immaculate I must say and the staff were friendly enough. I would be hesitant to book Sunday dinner there again though.

Food was lovely, the starter was amazing, but there was a slight issue with the main as the carrot and parsnip mash was cold, the server took it back to change but forgot to bring it back. However, they were very apologetic and more than made up for it with a free dessert for the table.

Aww what an amazing time. But I can't thank the ladies in the loo more. I was very anxious just me and my partner being there, so I had to go to loo on my own. But the beautiful ladies I met in the toilet made my night xxx

Really enjoyed our visit for hubby's birthday a little expensive but lovely. Brought out a board with happy birthday written on it with ice cream and a large sparkler nice touch to end our visit.

The food was lovely, not a huge choice though. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Shame about the noise levels, it didn't make for a nice experience, loud music and a very loud volume of people talking, I'm not sure if it's the design of the building but it's was hard to hear each other.

Delicious Sunday lunch. We had the beef, chicken and vegetarian option and they were all delicious. Tasty cauliflower cheese and a selection of vegetables including an amazing carrot and swede mash. Everything was presented beautifully.

Best Sunday lunch in the area by a long shot, super reasonable prices for what’s served! can’t fault the food or service, would highly recommend!

5 Stars! I'm not in the habit of giving 5 star reviews. If a place offers good service and nice food consistently it will normally get 4 stars. 5 Stars requires more than good, it needs to especially praise worthy. In our visit for Sunday lunch the lovely people at Ten Degrees in Caerphilly did so much more than 5 star work. The team were professional, welcoming, and proactive. We felt like valued guests. The food was just as good as the team. My partner has the butternut soup to start, it was good, I had the Mushroom and Soy Parfait, which was excellent. It was so good I almost asked for a potion for dessert! We both had roast for our mains, I had the chef's special, which was gammon today, my partner had the beef. The meats were very nice and the veg and trimmings were fantastic. I haven't enjoyed a restaurant roast as much in very long time. And there was plenty of everything, so even for someone like me with a big appetite there was more than enough. I didn't need pudding, but we decided to try the trio of desserts for afters. It did not disappoint, the warm cookie dough was almost too chocolaty, the other two were different and equally good, and not small portions either, so we left feeling very satisfied and already planning our next visit. If you haven't been I wholeheartedly recommend you too plan a visit to Ten Degrees in Caerphilly!

Bitterly dissapointed ,starters poor ,not much choice ,food cold ,never had a cheesecake that was not nice ,then had to pay a surcharge ,will not go again ,McDonald's burger such better value

We visited as two couples for a birthday. The food was absolutely outstanding, the mixed starter and lamb dish were fantastic. Will definitely be returning.

I recently celebrated a surprise 40th birthday meal here, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was amazing—every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The staff were outstanding, providing top-notch service and making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the evening. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

I organised a party for 35, with only a weeks notice. The pre-booking ordering service made ordering with several dietary needs stress free and all accurately accommodated for on the night. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Over the phone and in person on the night. Everyone from my youngest to oldest guest had a great evening, the atmosphere, food and service was excellent, even with a full restaurant. I will certainly book again and return for our next family function. Thank you!

Was looking for something special to do for Mum's 70th and when I seen that there was a Bottomless Brunch this weekend, I thought it would be ideal. Mum, myself and friends had the best time celebrating together. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the food was absolutely stunning as always and the entertainment was just perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to celebrate in a different way as this was spot on. Big shout out to Alan and Janine who went above and beyond!

What an amazing night at Ten Degrees. Absolutely amazing food 100% quality and taste. I personally rate this so much better than miller & carter. Atmosphere and decor fantastic. The staff was amazing made us feel special, and thank you Tia for being so helpful polite and amazing waitress.

I visited today with my Mum & Aunty. We were booked in for the afternoon tea & we were not disappointed. Everything was absolutely delicious. Served in a whicker hamper we were treated to a trio of fresh sandwiches, (my favourite was the roast beef.) bolognese arancini, homemade sausage rolls with a potato salad and colourful side salad. Then for the sweet stuff! Gorgeous homemade scones with jam & clotted cream, sumptuous dark chocolate brownies & a gorgeous Eton Mess served in a martini glass. It was all delightfully delicious. The service from Alan was impeccable. He truly is an asset to the restaurant. He made me 2 of the best Old Fashioned cocktails I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back!

Home Wedding party - August 2024. Amazing staff, amazing venue - would definitely recommend! We booked Ten Degrees to have a party to celebrate our marriage after getting married abroad. Rachel was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best evening possible. From our first meeting, we felt at ease and knew our wedding party was in good hands. Rachel listened to what we wanted and pulled off an amazing party. Our guests commented on the venue, food and staff and really enjoyed theirselves. Rachel, Alun and the Ten Degrees staff worked hard to make sure the venue looked beautiful for the party and ensured the evening ran smoothly. We had the marquee yesterday for a surprise birthday meal for my mum. The service was fab! They couldn’t do enough for us. The food was lovely and I’m persuading hubby to take me there for a date night! Supporting a local business run by locals was definitely the best choice for this event. Thank you 10 degrees!

Celebrated my Husband's 40th Birthday here with family and friends. We had the private marquee area for our delicious sit down meal then had own own access to the cosy VIP lounge for karaoke! An evening which was throughly enjoyed by all. The staff were so attentive and kind, especially Janine and Alun. The waitresses and bar staff were also very friendly and great, they really work so hard. A lovely, local venue for a special family and friends celebration. Thank you Ten Degrees! Xx

I was welcomed by a nice lady with a big smile, leading me to my table. She smelled really nice btw. The ambient and music were perfect. A few moments later they served me a free appetizer. How nice! I order burger with fried chicken and it was more then enough for my appetite. It was tasty. Would come again for sure!

A nice welcome into the restaurant Staff were very good at their job Food was faultless, 4 of us ate, and all agreed it was absolutely delicious Excellent menu with very interesting side dishes The only issue was that the music in the bar (at the front of the pub) was way too loud and overpowering, which spoilt the conversation at the table. Would definitely recommend & we will definitely return 👍

Service is outstanding but I feel the food let it down today, luke warm food, watery gravy, paid £4 supplement for the 3 meat option, one measly slice of beef, and fork full of pork and chicken. The venue itself and the staff are great though, can't fault that.

Great for a night out, not fussed on the Sunday roast

A nice cosy place to relax with good food and drink. Nice place for mature meetup and casual meetings. Also recommended for dates, eat out and occations. Also as a club like lounge with seranting lights. Place is open by 11am and kitchen by 12noon. Kitchen closes by 4pm fot break to reopen by 5.30pm. Place can be ised for mini luncheon. I will definitely review when next am at Caerphilly.

Absolutely incredible venue with brilliant staff! We recently had our wedding there and the staff were so helpful and accommodating! Especially Allan who helped organise every little detail, made sure there was extra food for us when we were off getting photos and put up with us moving the tables over and over again. The food is stunning too!

We went on a Sunday night which was quiet after the Sunday lunch time rush. That didn’t bother us though and the food was wonderful. We had a steak board - 3 kinds of steak beautifully cooked, arancini balls, tomatoes, mushrooms, tasty sauces and Parmesan fries. Also had 2 extra sides. All were delicious and the service was fantastic. Would recommend a visit it was lovely 🥰

My sisters, daughter and I just spent an amazing afternoon at 10 degrees. We had the afternoon cream tea presented in picnic basket, nice touch. Food was fresh and tasted wonderful. They also catered for one of our party who had a cheese allergy. Nice selection of non alcoholic drinks as well as amazing cocktails. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. This venue is top for us for a return visit. Thank you everyone for a lovely day.

The establishment is absolutely beautiful but it’s not somewhere I would return, I attended with a hen party for the bottomless brunch, the place was absolutely packed with large groups and we were constantly waiting for a drink where some of the party had to hold glasses up to get notice which felt like begging, to many people for staff to serve, would be better if prossecco and cocktails were placed on the table but you could only have one glass at a time, not what I’ve had a bottomless brunch before, the 3 course meal came out at different times also, I had the ham hock terrine which did not come with the rye bread and wasn’t very nice, same said by most of the party, my main was the chicken orzotto the chicken was very dry and the orzotto was also over cooked and mushy, again most of the party agreed and we didnt eat it, also didn’t come with the polenta croutons either! Over all I wouldn’t attend the brunch again as the quality and service just was not there unfortunately, very disappointed

My daughter’s school has just held their year 6 prom in the marquee at Ten Degrees. The venue was perfect for hosting a large party; food and drinks on offer were spot on for the group they were catering for and most importantly, all the kids had a fabulous time!

Food was lovely but my daughter did have what looked like a hair but staff said it was a fiber of the cloth ? ,and didn't expect a service charge of £6.95

Love this place! Recommend their brunch packages, afternoon tea and Sunday lunch. Also good just to pop in for a drink.

My sister and I ate here yesterday and we're blown away by the service & our lunch. I have anaphylaxis to peanuts/tree nuts and was made to feel so safe there, like it was no trouble at all - which is really nice and reassuring. We both had focaccia sandwiches from the lunch menu which were much bigger than expected and absolutely delicious (highly recommend!). Each staff member we spoke to was so friendly it made for a really lovely experience and atmosphere. Will be back very soon!

A nice venue, and a seemingly popular place, with a few areas/rooms for different functions. Our hot buffet was tasty, and staff were polite, helpful and friendly.

I'm always a little disappointed with food when I eat out but this evening the food was amazing. Everything was well cooked and had lots of flavour. The best meal we've had in a long time. Service was great and quick! There was quite a bit of noise coming from the bar area but that is to be expected on a Saturday night, I would probably go back at a different time for a quiet meal.

I went there with my work colleagues for my 50th birthday. It was really nice there. The food arrived in good time. Staff were friendly. I would definitely go back there.

Not good value for a Sunday roast £18.95!! Unfortunately, disappointing; the meal was luke warm, vegetables were overcooked, including roast potatoes, which were most likely frozen as tasteless!! On a positive note, the staff were friendly and decor was contemporary and tasteful.

We had a baby shower here yesterday. The staff were friendly and helpful they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. We had a buffet and the food was amazing also lots of it. I highly recommend booking here for private hire, and would definitely book again.

The food was excellent. Perfectly cooked and presentation fantastic. Clearly a kitchen that cares how the plates are delivered. It was a quiet Thursday evening, so hard to make a comment on atmosphere. My parents and I really enjoyed it and I'd definitely go back next time I'm in Caerphilly.

A birthday meal celebration 🎉. Staff helped with decoration and friendly. A table of 9 with baby. Drinks were prompt and starters followed. Time lapse to main course just right. Staff checking that we had drinks and water. All the food was tasty with nice portions. A lovely evening had by all.

Visited for lunch today. Exceptional service, and very attentive. The steak was one of the best I have ever had. Far superior to Miller and Carter and I'd even say better than the steak at Pasture! Excellent value for money, very friendly staff. Will definitely return

Booked a table for 10 for 50th birthday after Butterflies couldn't meet our needs for time to eat , booked table for 7.30 poor service at check in , food not served until 8.50pm then overcharged by nearly 100 pound , food was poor ordered fillet steak that come in two pices looked like one fillet cut in half burn to a cinder. Took over a week to get refunded the money we was over charged Not a great experience and would highly recommend not going in large parties Food was pre ordered weeks before we went so no excuses there

We ordered 2 fillet steaks, one was a flat iron . Jacket potato was dry,missing mushroom off meal had to ask. Drinks took over 30minutes to come and then we had to find someone to order. Dirty glasses on table for water had to ask to be changed. Very loud music couldn’t have a conversation over dinner. The staff were very polite but no awareness of customers and checking on tables. Didn’t ask if we wanted deserts/drinks. Overpriced and has gone down hill massively .

First time having Sunday dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and we couldn’t ask for better. However it was a slow wait to order food at the beginning. Ordered bread which would have been nice to come before the starter and not with them. And we also had to ask three times for water on our table. When the roast dinner came it was very very cold, the only thing that made it nice was the hot gravy to put on top. Probably wouldn’t come again. But front of house staff were so lovely! We spent £100+ for 3 people and it was most definitely not worth the value.

Came in for food after the journey home from London Landmarks half marathon. I had the tagliatelle with chicken - absolutely stunning. It was so fresh and perfectly seasoned and a nice big portion size. Washed down with a couple of pints of Guinness. Perfect end to the weekend. Highly recommended!
