It was an educative place to be

I went to an at home barista class at Mount which was run by one of the owners, Jack. He was such a brilliant teacher - very passionate and knowledgable about coffee but in a really accessible and unpretentious way - I would highly recommend the class if you’re looking to improve your skills at home or just learn more about specialty coffee (and I thought the course was really good value too!). Jack and his partner have created such a lovely wee place with amazing coffee and hospitality - we are so lucky and grateful to have them in Aberdeen. Thank you Mount :)

Prior to delivery I received a phone call requesting an additional charge for delivery due to my location. Why accept the order at the agreed price if I'm too far away? Experience ruined before the food even arrived. Was worse when I got the same story from the deliver driver while the food was sitting there going cold. Completely unacceptable way to treat a customer. I ordered from Just Eat, not directly with the restaurant. Food was below average at best. Chicken was dry. Won't be going back.

Great cosy place which we found today as my son has moved in around the corner, I'm sure he will be a regular visitor as will we when visiting .
