Friendly staff, free wifi to work, coffee delicious and beautifully presented, food a bit disappointing. I know I only ordered a grilled cheese sour dough sandwich - and got what was on the tin. But it was a bit tasteless and I asked if they had black pepper or Sriracha sauce to give it a bit of seasoning and the lovely friendly waitress said no. I had walked from the train station especially to sample the coffee/food. I'd recommend for coffee only.

Excellent coffee in a pleasant space. A very different proposition to Starbucks next door. We had a very nice grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. Followed by a raspberry and almond bun which was EXCELLENT. One of the best I've had in a long while. Thoroughly recomended.

It’s a nice and cozy place, suitable for staying. We tried iced chocolate, iced flat white, banana bread and almond croissant. As a person who likes iced chocolate, this is one of the best drinks I have ever tried because it wasn’t sweet😋.

Was looking for coffee while travelling through Aberdeen, wound up at Mount. As Melbournian (Australians) we like good coffee and we found it here. Its a really chill little cafe, perfect spot for a quiet coffee on a weekday morning. But what really impressed me was the cinnamon bun. Honestly, it was one of the best I have ever had, across Europe and Australia.

What a warm and welcoming experience. This shop is like no other. The customer service 10/10. The drinks 10/10. The pastries 10/10. When I return to Aberdeen this will 100% be my go to spot. You can not beat the customer service from all the incredible staff. I wish I could pack them all up and take them home with me. If you’re in Aberdeen it’s a MUST!!!

Both Mount in town and at Greyhope bay are welcoming + calming spaces, even when busy! The lovely staff are kind, friendly + helpful. It creates a great atmosphere. The coffee + food are brilliant. My favourite is a flat white + almond croissant. I’ve been going on my own + with my daughter since it first opened + it’s always been a great break away from the manicness of the day.

Me and my friends were so so so excited when Mount first opened up purely for aesthetic reasons but then soon found that EVERYTHING about mount is perfect! The coffee is top notch, the food is brilliant and everyone there makes you feel like a friend as soon as you walk in. I got the privilege to be a part of their Christmas Market as well and they were just so so welcoming and lovely, just so great to have a place like this in Aberdeen that does so much for the community! I hope that they expand to other places so everyone can experience the joy of Mount!

My favorite place to go to after a long day at the university. Staff are always class and friendly, and the coffee is always on point. I highly recommend their flat white as well as the banana bread (toasted is a must).

Mount is without a shadow of a doubt my favourite place to grab a coffee, bite to eat or a sweet snack. The service, ambience and overall quality of their offerings is just second to none. Owned by a very nice young couple who have managed to build not only a great independent business but also a great community around their business. Don’t believe any negative reviews because it simply wont be true.

Today was the first time ive visited this Amazing cafe. So minimalistic, so calm and peacful atmosphere.. coffee was AMAZING. Ive ordered Flat white but for me was too small cup and too strong. so ive asked if its possible to change it. And the Staff member said no problem, she maid me another one and i was very pleased by the service. Will visit again !

Popular with vegan vegetarian customers, but did have chesse toasties, Limited choice! Lots of students, as you would expect in this area ! Coffee was great ,staff very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly as well

Was looking for a cafe to have a virtual meeting so popped in. Staff were so lovely, had a tea and a soft drink while I stayed. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere and will definitely be back for a hot drink and to try bakery stuff soon.

Was asked to leave in one hour as they have a one-hour policy. But noticed people who came in before me still seated at their tables. Didn’t bother to ask them as they were busy. But if the owner can clarify as to why I was asked to leave before others (who came in before me), it would be helpful. Have no issues with the policy, just that an indifferent treatment doesn’t bode well with my appetite for fairness.

Lovely place to have great coffee and home baked pastries. If you don't have time to sit in, there is a station with all you need for your coffee (sugar, napkins) on your way out. The best cinnamon bun in town!

Really nice little cafe near Bon Accord and St.Nicks. Been a couple of times and I've really enjoyed it. Staff are super friendly and their sourdough croissants are amazing! Would recommend giving this a try if you happen to pop by, they also do takeaway. Also they sell a couple of locally made items.

Coffee.is.delicious.!! Staff are lovely, welcoming and make really really good drinks (including chi latte's) Great casual atmosphere, it's central and definitely worth visiting. Sadly no gluten free cakes were available :(

Before I entered I knew I'd love this little coffee shop. It's bright and airy inside and very minimalist in style - which I love - particularly great in a city where everything is grey! Very friendly staff. Beautiful coffee, proper light roasts well brewed. Had a caramel square and it was divine - not too sweet on the caramel and dark chocolate on top. Wonderful. They don't seem to have a retail shelf to buy coffee beans from, unfortunately. I will be back very soon before I leave Aberdeen! Highly recommended, particularly if you're a proper coffee lover like me!

The mount is a artisan coffee shop in the middle of Aberdeen, on upperkikgate. I had a coffee, i would say the strength was mid range. it had the correct texture and the idea froth to coffee ratio. 5/5 would recommend to anyone The coffee's are around £3.20 they also have light bites and items like mugs and candles available. I would say it was full, but it was mid day so that kinda expected in a good coffee shop. It's good to note that the Mount's shop has a minimalist interior, that complementary to the items they sell here. I wouldn't be taking my laptop here to grind out overdue work. Its more of meeting up/conversation shop. (suggestion): minimalist shops often relys on their qauilty of end products, word of mouth and reviews to get new and repeat customers. If your not in them circles you not going to see it. I never knew about this place before i went in. Branching out with artisans coffee van, to food festivals or season areas could really bring different customers to the shop for example. Getting beach plot in summer or Giving James watt (director) a phone to get in his abedereen brewdog festivals of 2024.

Exactly what I was looking for. I visited Aberdeen fir a stopover and didn't know anything about the city. Given the season the weather was very cold and windy and I saw the damped window and it looked very cosy and welcoming from outside. And so it was after entering. the interior design as well as the service are very warm and spot on. Very good coffee! Like the personal connection to the farmers!

The hunt for the best coffee in Aberdeen is over! Local owners with a passion for good coffee and service. Excellent flat white. It was really fruity, strong without being bitter and the milk was perfectly steamed. Cute cafe art too!

We had an espresso and cappuccino at mount and both were great! We sat on the bench in front of the cafe and it was very cozy. The pastry looked so good but we weren’t hungry enough. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely come again!

Finding great coffee, food and service can be hard but not at Mount. They make my coffee just as I like it, it actually tastes like coffee, their small selection of savoury and larger selection of slices and cake etc are delicious and sourced from artisan bakers etc. Importantly the staff are absolutely lovely! They remember me and how I like my coffee and always make me like a friend when I am there. Get in there and support these gorgeous people.

Just popped in for a cappuccino. Very friendly staff and there was music as well which makes the stay more pleasant. It was good to be there, I'd go back again.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. It's great to have somewhere in the city centre that serves decent coffee! Also, the almond croissant I had last weekend was probably the best croissant I have ever had in my life. The only negative is that during our last visit, the cafe was freezing. Everyone was sitting in their jackets. Hopefully it was just a temporary issue.

Good little espresso joint, with a nice selection of tasty slices, and some savoury options on the board. Close to the college, so finding seats can be a little challenging, and there are plenty of people nesting, but worth the trip for the coffee and cakes regardless. Only things I can fault are a point of sale system that asks for a tip before you have actually tasted your coffee or even done more than order, and the aforementioned lack of seating.

Beautiful cafe located in the centre of Aberdeen . Can tell a lot of love went into its opening. I am not personally a coffee drinker and prefer a hot chocolate. My friend found your coffee to be of a high quality and I would like to feel the same about the hot chocolate. I can tell that it was made from powder rather than real chocolate - it really makes a big difference. I can recommend the suppliers Marimba - they sell wholesale hot chocolate melts. If you are to change your hot chocolate, I will definitely be back!

Mount is such a lovely and modern cafe. The decor is very minimal, the coffee tastes amazing. Just what Aberdeen needs, feels so nice to step into the calmness from the busyness of the city centre. Also very friendly staff!

A perfect blend of modern minimalism in your local catch-up coffee shop. Mount have very obviously put a lot of effort into making their shop aesthetically modern, minimalist and pleasing to the eye. From the seating to the mugs (v nice House Doctor btw) their space is carefully crafted to encourage conversation and community as well as a peaceful and calming atmosphere. Regarding waiting times - the small team does an excellent job of allowing time and conversation whilst making your coffee to the right specification; an excellent job for newly opening. Regarding the coffee - very obviously made with time and care, smooth and rich with great milk! Best I've had in Aberdeen so far. Mugs without handles were a wee bit hot to grab, but worked in my favour as when savouring your coffee and conversation it cools with time! Will come again and tell everyone who'll listen - can't wait to see the future of mount.

Went in with my partner on Thursday and had to wait until the workers had stopped talking to each other about their day to receive our coffee. The barista caught eyes with us and said oh we still have an order then proceeded to slowly make our very complicated and time consuming americano and latte. Cant deny the coffee is really good though! GG
