Lovely service from the gorgeous bartender, great lively atmosphere even on a thursday, all bevvies well priced. Great little find, very pleased.

The Victoria is amazing. The staff are wonderful and seriously on the ball. The landlord and landlady are soo lovely and the new assistant manager is just utterly brilliant at what she does. Absolute credit to her. It's always such a good time whenever you go in for a drink and they're on shift

Best pub in south Manchester by far. All the locals here are amazing and always a good laugh to talk to. Shout out to the landlords who make this place what it is, and the assistant managers, and the rest of the staff who make this pub so welcoming especially over the euros for the England games!

Really disappointed they have a new assistant manager in there she's really made the pub go down her attitude stinks and spends more time with all the men in there than actually serving her customers she drinks on job too and brings her personal life in to work get rid before you lose custom yous to be a nice pub

Been my local pub for over 14 years and seen many friendly faces behind the bar come and go. Allways have a great time with the past and present bar staff. Can't not fault the new assistant manger, hardworking and eager to progress.l

Great locals bar that is justly proud of its real ale championed by the manager. Well worth a visit. Full range of Hydes beers. Paulicarus on his first visit. A few too many TV's for me.

My Wife and I occasionally.visit the 'Vic' in which the service is excellent, the drinks are good , the staff are well manered which is a credit to the Manageress who is a lovely person who always welcomes my Wife and I whenever we call in.

Love this pub! It's a favourite in the area. Good selection of beer, decent prices. Love coming on a Friday night for DJ Billy! Can get rammed with the students, but generally a good mix of people from the area. Would be nice to have a few more simple cocktails sometimes - Love it when they do their specials.

Never been here. Don't know why my Google asked me for a review. But heres 5 stars anyway because its nice to be nice.

The late Victorian exterior featuring etched glass windows hides a large open-plan compartmentalised interior. This area mixes local residents with a large student base, who bolster the trade in the evenings. This mix of clientele ensures that the pub is busy at lunchtimes and can often be packed in the evenings. Large screen sports are shown and is an increasingly popular venue for watching football. It hosts enthusiastic darts teams, a poker school on Monday evenings, and alternating live music events too.

Good traditional boozer with a nice selection of beer. As they don't do food you can take your pick from any of the nearby takeaways and they don't mind you bringing it in and enjoying with your pint!

A very olde-worlde pub, the likes of which are slowly disappearing. Often shows major sporting tournaments and sometimes has a live DJ.

Friendly and very welcoming visited yesterday and can honestly say felt very safe with all the new safety measures that they have got in place. From standing to wait to be shown a table using hand sanitizer on entry giving our details and ordering our drinks. There are plenty of hand sanitizer machines to be used. Well done to your team for making the Victoria a safe place to visit under difficult circumstances. If every pub was like you maybe we will get back to normal quicker. Keep up the good work. This was a awful experience. When I approached the door, I was notified that there wasn’t space inside for myself and my friend!! After waiting, we noticed many groups had entered with larger numbers! Once questioned, we wasn’t aloud to enter the bar and continued to drink outside, we then requested the next possible table inside! Surprisingly we then seen a group of 5 who made it very clear hadn’t booked gain entry. Awful experience and will never ever come back. Maybe try and be more consistent with all your customers. The bouncer tried to incorrectly explain to law to someone who reviews it daily.

Possibly, nay, definitely the greatest pub in south Manchester. Fantastic atmosphere, the staff are wonderful and very friendly. Plenty of seating including a small beer garden outside. Long live the Vic.

I went here for about half an hour on a Friday. The music was much too loud for my taste and the place was crowded. I left as soon as possible. Other people seemed to be having a good time though.
