Pleasant atmosphere, good food, good beer and food service at a good price. I can recommend it!

So start with good bits Food was fine lacking on the chips with american burger. Drinks reasonably priced and good quality ales Service would be nice if delivered with a smile. Bar staff ok but all seem to be stand off ish its lacking that warmth feeling and manager has a weird way of closing Staff say closes at 1am Manager comes round and tells u its last orders at 00.45 So we finish our drinks and go to bar to get last orders to be told were shut. Within a minute or two of just been informed its last orders. Perhaps next time manager should say time at the bar thank you or oub could go back to old way and ring the bell.

Great pub for food and cheap drinks. Service is always with a smile, the only issues is there's no music but great if u want a nice meal.

Called in 6pm Saturday evening for a quick beer and wrap. Quality service, beer selection a bit down - haven't had an OP for ages - must be 1/2ABV down since last drunk! But totally acceptable. I feel sorry for other local pubs. It's just too easy.

Don't usually leave feed back but it's a busy pub food was hot and worth every penny staff busy bit not to busy to help customers thumbs up to all the managers and staff here

This weatherspoons is a bit out of town but still easy to walk to. There is Sainsbury car park less then 1 minute walk from there. Staff are nice enough can't fault them.

Walls could use a wipe, slept in far worse. No on-site parking, but parking close by.

Busy Wetherspoons, is it me or is the food not as good value as it used to be? Drinks were fine. Service slow but it was really busy.

Felt I needed to review given some of the negatives on here. I usually go to Spoons on business due to consistency and value. This is a modern setting so lacks wow factor, but was more than made up for in prompt service and well kept beer. The food was comparable with every other Spoons and I had no issues. Particular mention goes to Magda, who I saw helping a gentleman on a mobility scooter find an appropriate table and then escort to/from the bar. It was clearly a genuine desire to help and very much appreciated by someone who wishes their elderly parents are treated with such respect when out.

Good beer and good atmosphere. As for the food, the hamburgers are very good...

Not even busy and chronically understaffed waited ten mins for two people in queue in front to be served

Bar staff are friendly and poured a decent pint. The chefs... well the food is shocking its all microwaved I had bangers and mash with red wine gravy. The sausage skins where soft and wrinkley (nuked in the microwave) mash there was only a thin slither smoothed out and pressed to the bottom of the plate and the gravy was congealed probably because its been re-heated.

In town for a short time, was spoke to rudely by the staff as I had just sat down getting ready before ordering.

The service is very poor like a Wetherspoons the beer is cheap, but that’s the best thing there don’t rate anything else food very average . Probably the worst service for a Wetherspoons I have ever been in because every other Wetherspoons I have been in as always been excellent service, so this Wetherspoons is very very poor 3/10

Love this place always here like every week and is always good but tonight I ordered my meal and a cider and this man was extremely rude and a but creepy he walked over with my cider asked for ID no problem with that but then he kept on looking at Mr up snd down snd looking at my ID snd then he just put my cider down and said fine the man was behind the bar and a really big man

A more modern Wetherspoons pub, situated underneath the local Travelodge branch. Not too far from the town centre and Farnborough Main Rail Station. About 15 minutes from Farnborough North. This is another Wetherspoons that does the excellent value 'Top Plates, Low Rates' food deals, which are far and few around this area. Pub was very busy upon arrival. All Day Brunch with a pint of Bowman's Black Drop Stout was a very reasonable £6.28 (£4.81 with refillable coffee cup, or soft drink.) In standard priced Wetherspoons, this is £10.82. A price that cannot really be beaten in this era of rising prices and inflation. This pub also does between four and six rotating guest ales, and a good range of styles usually offered. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was well presented and cooked. Definately worth a visit if you are in the area!

A HUGE! Thank you to Ellie and Bailey for making my trips a constant delight, going above and beyond in their customer service. I moved to Farnborough for only a few months and their smiling faces made me feel at home. Somebody give these girls a raise!!!

Ordered a medium steak, it came out very rare. Didn't bother sending it back, as from experience, it will just be returned to me again without seeing the grill again. Won't be ordering steak from spoons again any time soon

Finished a night shift early 11:30 and was staying in the hotel above and thought I’d bob in for a couple for last orders, a guy walks over and says there’s no entry after 11pm, I have never heard that before in a Wetherspoons, cheers for nothing

Showed up at midday on a Saturday. Bad idea. Ordered at the table. Food was 30 mins late, served semi warm. Ordered tea and didn't get the cups until we had to ask a server AFTER we got our meals. NEVER GOING AGAIN. WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS - DON'T EAT HERE.

I have never encountered worse mannered staff before. Shocking even for a weatherspoons. Usually you know what youre getting into when you go to these places but how i was treated last night is beyond me. I will not be returning to this establishment because of the rudeness of the staff. Special mention to the manager Isaac for being particularly insulting and unhelpful.

Great Sunday breakfast, staff were efficient and friendly, atmosphere great, busy but not unpleasant. Would recommend the traditional English breakfast.

Another spoons that stays away from the standard decor. For me, it feels smaller on the inside than it ought to, it's a lovely looking modern building with outdoor seating all along the front. Quite aesthetically themed with a propeller on the wall over some authentic plane seats. The staff were friendly and efficient- I really didn't wait long for drink or food (and yes, the cure was as you would expect) and it was pretty busy. The Guinness was excellent.

Typical Spoons food at really cheap price. Don't know how they do it. Excellent value for money. Atmosphere could be better in this place - too dark for my liking. Food - get what you paid for.

Perfect venue for a quick bite to eat and drink

Good breakfast for exceptional value, whilst the staff are quick some of them lack any manners and general politeness, typical interaction is devoid of normal politeness such as hello, please or thank you, transactional service with a table number request, what are you having and there you go 🤣. Very rare that I don't give 5 stars as I like to support local businesses but the manager is clearly impolite on purpose. The service staff were fine though

Unprofessional staff. A manager named Ethan was flirting with me at the bar, I was just being nice in return for him to ask me my phone number. Made me feel rather uncomfortable and won’t be returning again. Please train staff on customer service

One of the worst pubs ive ever been in for atmosphere

Went with my sisters and brother-in-law plus a couple of nephews and it was a great time. 👍

Terrible food in the Tilly today, 2 large breakfasts, bacon not cooked, toast only toasted one side. Pizza ordered for my son and totally burnt with barely any cheese on it. Then got him a portion of chips instead and they weren't cooked either! Still hard cold potato. Will not be coming back

Only convenient pub for Farnborough shopping, a popular JD with good service and friendly atmosphere. Spacious inside, broad outside area on wide pavement, themed on heritage of area.

I love Wetherspoon's but this is the worst I have been to, to-date. This review is based on a number of visits with particular comment to our last one. Service was slow, they are always short staffed, our food sat on the pass for >15mins before being brought to us. I approached the food pass to collect our food to be told by a waiter he would do it now; nope he decided to service cold deserts first to another table. Our food was cold and didn't look like the normal appetising standard Spoons normally provide. Sorry but we will use alternate places to The Tilly Shilling.

Not bad food and reasonably priced but I strongly advise you don't go anywhere near the fried eggs unless you like snotty, raw eggs. All the rest of breakfast was good but the chef clearly missed egg day at chef school.

Do not visit this place. How can a manageress be so rude and still be employed. If I was the owner her ars be up the road immediately. as for food don't get me started. stone cold uneadable mess. Probably because left on serving counter so long before being served due to manageress walking around moaning at things and people instead doing job in hand. Won't step foot in that place again

Absolutely dreadful service, the store manager was so rude and all attitude as soon as you ask a question about the meal, the waitress looked as miserable as sin and not helpful at all. We ordered two Fish & Chips with mushy Peas, a side of Bacon and a all day Brunch, the Fish was dry, the Chips were barely warm and didn't look freshly done, the Bacon was cold, hard and dry, the mushy Peas were cold, on the all day Brunch the Bacon was warm, the Beans were cold, again the Chips were barely warm. That Store Manager has no clue how to talk to customers and a don't care rude attitude. Just shocking, won't be returning. You want customers to keep returning employ staff who aren't rude !!!!

The worst breakfast my friend and I had this morning, I've not been well after the meal..The food was off , my friend and I are continuously visiting the small room several times

Really enjoyed my visit to the pub. Sat out in the sunshine. Drinks arrived promptly. Food was really good. Not a massive portion but enough for me. My friends pizza was really good plenty of topping. Both meals came out hot and nicely cooked. I went in and thanked the staff as I feel sometimes we are very quick to criticise and complain and not praise when it’s due. On this visit I was impressed. Thank you 😊

Had the loaded fries and normally they are really good, however today no cheese at all. Complained and put a little more on but then microwaved the chips so sent them back. Very disappointed and the chap behind the bar said that’s how you do chips in the microwave! I don’t think so cheese would melt from freshly frozen fries that are deep fried don’t you think?……..

Greeted by the friendly Emily whos passion for fruit juices was more than a slight concern but her outstanding knowledge of amazon depos in the midlands shows her grade c in geography paid off, First mac now emily the team here are truly profesionals in the field of pint pouring!

Classic spoons - reasonable prices with a great selection of drinks, can get quite busy

Beverages arrived promptly. Fairly calm for a Wetherspoons, able to converse without impediment. Jacket potatoes cooked to perfection. My only criticism was that I only received a morsel of tuna with mine. I thought this might have been a little more generous considering how charming I am. Overall a splendid jaunt, would visit again.

Lovely experience apart from the strange noise in the celling that sounds like somebody is cutting something up with a chainsaw & the impending fear of getting lapped by one of Farnborough's many hard nuts. Big Mac daddy gets a 10/10 for service. Will be back!

It's cheap. I only went there to meet a mate whose main requirement of a pub is that it's cheap.

Great place to go for a coffee and to read a book staff very good

First visit last weekend. Easy to find. Good brekkie choice all served at the table. Plenty of seating and good prices.

It's a spoons, what more do you want? Cheap food and booze. Will definitely sort you out if your intending to go out out or you want a quick cheap meal. It's not a gastronomical masterpiece but you sometimes can't beat it. Friday and Saturday evening expect it to be very busy from 5pm-9pm if not later. Tables are at a premium so get down early if you can to bag the seats

Great service from Mac. Really knew what he was doing with those bottle caps. Eye contact was a bit intense, but I liked it. Thanks again Mac!

Ordered steak with peas, chips, tomato and mushrooms. Steak was meant to be rare, it was well done and they forgot my peas. I mentioned this and that I didn’t want a refund or for it to be remade as short on time. The waitress told me they were out of peas and so they gave me half a tomato instead and walked off. Terrible customer service but get two stars for excellent chips

Food to be avoided..half of the crew is sick in bed plus I ordered 8 JD shoots and a pint for almost 40£... i can't bring 8 shoots to the table so i asked to the Waitress, please to bring them her self ... and well, she did but dropped half of them in the tray and left it on the table while saying "yoo can lick the tray"... she should be fired

We've spent the weekend eating here, breakfasts, snacks and meals,as we were staying in local hotel. Most definatly one of the nicest wetherspoons I've ever been to. Staff are so friendly and helpful, food hot and a nice atmosphere.
