It has become one of my favourite places to eat Spanish food. The chef is very welcoming and the food is wow! Amazing taste, the octopus was one of my favourites, and my partner enjoy a table of cheeses and ham serrano with a glass of wine that the waitress help us to choose. I would define the recommended .

Lovely little place to have dinner or drinks at in Deptford. The staff are really friendly and the service is great. However, if you’re vegetarian I and hungry, I would recommend against going. The tapas options for non meat eaters are minimal, e.g an entirely beetroot salad and some broccoli on a admittedly tasty sauce, left me some what a bit peckish. There is a chessboard as well, however several of those cheeses aren’t veggie either. Disappointing as it means I would only go back for a drink now, despite it being local and a nice spot.

Great helpful staff. I was curious about one of the oddball wines and the waitress gave me some to taste before ordering. We had the meat and cheese platter as a light meal and there was no pressure at all to order more, or hassle to leave. Great relaxing place to enjoy a lovely evening.

After a 6 mile walk along the river from Tower Bridge, a glass or two of light refreshing Txakoli from the north coast of Spain (well, Basque Country really), then into The Tapas Room menu - delicious tasty things sizzled up by the chef right behind us … salty padron peppers, hake, gambas, broccoli, jamon croquetttes that melt in your mouth .. then finished off with smoky idiazabal cheese. Plenty of opportunity to taste from the carefully curated wine list before deciding what to have. Then back to Tower Bridge in the sunset by river bus. . Amazing.

Probably my 3rd or 4th time here. Great for a date night but this time came with a friend. Lovely to have a table where you can sit, chat, ear, drink and not feel at all rushed. Staff were very informative and as usual the food was amazing. This is one of my favourite places and lovely the small intimate feel.

Really good authentic tapas and great friendly service. Lovely seafood and the cheese & meat selection in particular was superb with 6 different full flavoured cheeses. Their Spanish twist on a Negroni (with Sherry) went down a treat too. Deptford isn't exactly on the tourist trail but if you find yourself nearby it's worth making the trip to try this place.

Loved our dinner here. The food is so, so good and packed with flavour. The prawn special was especially delicious and the salt cod croquettes are yum. The staff were also really lovely and friendly. Definitely going here again!

Have been coming to the tapas room ever since they won best cheese at the Deptford cheese festival. The cheese and meat board is outrageous at this place. All of the dishes are tasty and the wine they serve is incredible. Their shop saved us through lockdown too and we got some delicious take away dishes and wine that kept us sane over the weekends. The staff and the owners are always great and they have that local London charm and banter with us and their customers. I've always felt welcomed and relaxed eating here.

It was fine, but one of the waiters could learn some manners.. (bearded idiot). I was there a few nights previously and getting you to pay over the odds for some so-so wine appears to be part of their business model..

We were so happy we chose to come here as our first meal out after lock down. The atmosphere was amazing, managing to maintain plenty of space both indoors and out whilst also maintaining a friendly jovial atmosphere thanks to the the great staff. To top it off the food and wine were incredible. Each dish we had (and we pretty much ate the entire menu!) was spectacular, great ingredients and interesting and perfectly combined flavours, this matched with a wonderful wine list makes this a must visit venue.

Lived in the area for a few years, but went here for the first time a few weeks ago. Wish I’d come sooner! Absolutely lovely little tapas restaurant. Beautiful food, great wine and such a cosy setting. Will definitely be back! Looking forwards to trying it out in the summer and sitting outside.

This hidden gem is a wonderful place to have a few glasses and plates which often turns into dinner. The food and the wine are so moorish and the owner is so passionate, it’s hard to turn down, even in dry January! Wish I had popped in sooner!

This small and cosy restaurant in the deptford market yard is exceptional. A romantic and beautiful restaurant with food to die for. You must try the scallops they are second to none. It's a little expensive but worth every penny.

Don't bother making the trek as this place has closed down. They are leasing it again so hopefully another restaurant takes its place but for now there is nada, nothing, zip, zero here.
