Excellent service, very polite staff. Lovely hot food, only negative for Sunday roast, next time gravey in a jug please, not everyone likes gravey.

We had a belated Mother's Day meal here on Sunday and the food was excellent. Service was also very high level. Expectations surpassed. Will definitely be going back soon!

As ever food was delicious, the asparagus starters were beautifully cooked, between our party we had a mix of mains including the lamb and the beef, omg the melt in your mouth beef! Plenty of veg to accompany and was even offered an extra jug of gravy without asking. Puddings were also excellent (although one of us was so full they kindly boxed up his dessert so he could take it home!) staff were smiling and friendly both at the bar and while seated. Great value and a great lunch for two special days rolled into one. Thanks to all the team for working so hard to make everything so lovely.

I was treated to my Mother's day meal and sons fiance's 40th celebration here yesterday. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted yummy. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff and very friendly. I had a wonderful relaxed meal with great company. Would definitely eat there again.

Dropped in to The Swan , to try The Braybrooke brewing co. Ales and was not disappointed lovely pint of their Helles lager.

Visited The Swan on Sunday 23 Feb, four of us for a roast dinner. We were shown to our table which wasn’t set but were given the menus. We then waited approx 30 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order. By which time we were ready to place our food order. Our food arrived and we didn’t have any cutlery. I suggested to the waitress we just take it from the next table that was set as no one was sitting there but she said no so we had to wait a good 4/5 mins before our cutlery arrived for our starters. The same happened for each of our courses, food delivered and had to wait for the cutlery so we could eat it, by which time it had started to go cold. One of our friends was given a serving spoon for the desert. Poor service unfortunately. Our food was mediocre, vegetarian main course was like bird food and the three meat roast was just ok. The best meat was apparently the beef! We were disappointed to find out after we tried to order our deserts that the sticky toffee pudding wasn’t available and nor was the brownie! The apple and blackberry crumble was very watery more like a compote with slight sprinkle of crumble. No-one asked if our food was ok and if we needed anymore drinks or anything. We had to go to the bar to ask for the bill. To summarise, nice setting, ambience and location but extremely poor service and mediocre food. Safe to say we didn’t leave a tip!

Lovely modern classic pub dinner. Spacious airy restaurant. Staff were lovely, really friendly and welcoming. Good food. Not much parking, but we luckily managed to get into the car park.

Film actor Graham Moffat used to run this lovely pub.

1st time here and definitely returning. We're vegetarian but had the best Sunday lunch ever! Really good to see it busy and glad we booked in advance. One of the nicest, cosy pubs you could ever wish for. We can't wait to come again!

Absolutely brilliant! Unassuming beautiful pub in a quiet village with very friendly staff and amazing food. 9 of us for dinner all had different dishes and everyone was perfect. Steaks were amazing and cooked exactly as requested. Seabass was a good size and cooked to perfection. Sauces were full of flavour and the sides and starters were just as good. Deffo coming back.

Attended a private function at The Swan. It’s a lovely pub, much bigger than it looks from the outside. Cosy traditional feel around the bars. Lots of room for dining. The catering was lovely with a particularly special Lasagne 👌🏾. The staff were very friendly an no request was too much for them to handle. I will be back in the summer to experience the large garden area at the back with its own bar area.

This is a lovely pub restaurant. I attended a birthday celebration yesterday and it went extremely well. The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was great and the buffet superb. I'm really looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

Lovely family pub. Staff are lovely and the food is nice. We are not fans of dogs in restaurants (not just in the bar they are actually allowed in the restaurant) but that's our preference. Worth a visit.

Had burger,supposed to get the beer free, got charged.Burger was full of salt,really bad,used to like the food there.Wife had steak, was over done on edges.pepper corn sauce full of salt.Will not go back.Really gone down hill.

We had a lovely lunch here yesterday. Found this gem of a country pub by chance. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very nice traditional atmosphere, open fire, exposed beams, etc. great choice of beers and the food was delicious, fresh and seasonal ingredients. Dog friendly too. All in all a brilliant pub that is great for eating and with a good sized bar area great for having a pint or two. Highly recommended

This was a great afternoon with friends helped by the great food and service.

We had not been to this pub for 9 years going back a lot had changed but it had been done sympathetically to the age of the pub. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent. Dog friendly and even the music was awesome classic rock from the 7o's we was in our element and will certainly be going back and recommending to friends

The venue is nice the water was very amenable and polite. My steak was inedible due to I believe being fried…. Sent it back expecting not to be charged however was with only a small amount removed. After arriving home and checking the receipt I Discovered that I was massively overcharged by doubling up on items and two additions that were nothing to do with our table. I asked for this to be rectified and to honest the bare minimum was refunded the steak was still charged and the same rate and the 10% service charge not accounted for. I would suggest anyone visiting needs to be very cautious about charging especially when it is sorted properly even after pointing it out. Shame really Could have been rectified with some basic customer focused response.

A brilliant venue for food-loving dog owners. Very welcoming with a wonderful attitude to our four-legged friends, and excellent food with plenty of choice. Can't wait to return.

Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to make out Christmas Day so perfect. The food was delicious and there was an abundance! It was a very cosy experience with the log burner creating a magical Christmas card scene. It was the best Christmas Day meal out that I've experienced and the staff were polite and attentive. 😋

Went for a Sunday lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Nice selection of starters on the menu, although afterwards we struggled to finish sharing platter of Sunday Roast. All food was fresh and delicious, everything was cooked perfectly. Very generous portions of starters too. Service/Staff is lovely and helpful. I’d recommend booking in advance, all tables were full! Definitely coming back.

I enjoyed a fabulous Sunday Road with my family. The food was cooked extremely well and it was a peaceful atmosphere!

Great atmosphere has a country pub feel. Service good food good will definitely return. Only downside is parking.

First time eating at the Swan for a little while. But it was good, it has improved from a year ago. When I thought the food lacked a bit of seasoning. I had mussels followed by lamb and could not fault it. £6.50 for two scoops of ice cream is a bit steep, but I guess this is the norm nowadays. Looking forward to returning soon.

Lovely food, amazing rib eye steak, chips are legend. Had a full party and pub so service a little slow but didn't affect the evening. Well done. Someone brought a pet skunk into the pub which was great fun 🤣

Typical country pub, though we went to a private function. Staff very friendly, food ran out - suggests it was good!

We have been here regularly in the past , however the service was very slow , staff seemed un trained , a few diners were complaining about delays for their orders , they offered a doggy dinner for our dog then later said it was now unavailable . Food is great though ! Get your act together or you will lose customers .

Had Saturday morning breakfast here food was amazing, what a lovely place to eat. Would definitely return and not just for the breakfast. The menus for lunch and dinner look amazing too. Staff were really helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Heard about a brass band evening here, so even though I'm not a fan of brass bands per se, decided to go along and see what it was. Well, what an amazing evening. A very talented band provided entertainment in the cozy garden area and later inside the pub. We had pizza which was really good and refreshing beers. Maybe not the cheapest place, but the quality was worth it. Friendly helpful staff makes all the difference in my opinion. Will definitely go there again.

We ate outside in the garden which was really beautiful and spacious We both ordered from the specials menu and as the dishes were new the chef asked the waiting staff for our views on the dish (which was delicious) so it's clear the kitchen cares about the quality of the food they put out

A super find with great attentive service and a lovely full flavoured lunch served super quick. Prices are just ok. Great choice of seating and quite atmospheric. - could do with some ambient music.

We appreciated the fact that we could take our dogs into the restaurant. It was quiet which made lunch even more relaxing. Our needs were accommodated very well. The food was interesting and delicious - we found the starters were more than enough for a light lunch but still treated ourselves to a shared cheeseboard to finish. Exceeded my expectations!

Had the sharing Sunday Lunch platter which you could choose two meats (roast beef, pork or chicken) for the platter with lots of different vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding each. A lovely pub tucked away in the pretty village of Braybrook, a short driving distance from Market Harborough and about ten minutes from the A14. We visited for Sunday lunch and I must admit I did struggle to park as the small car park to the front was rammed . Food and service was excellent and the pub interior was a mixture of old and new. The roast dinner we had was thoroughly enjoyed and arrived piping hot. No complaints at all.

Wow, I have no other words to describe it, our first time here. The presentation of the sharing platter was amazing, chose two meats, everything was cooked to perfection, piping hot and no stinting on the portions, service was incredible, staff went above and beyond, desserts were just as amazing, quite honestly the best Sunday lunch we have had anywhere. Booked for two of us but fitted in 2 more adults and a child at short notice. Decor was lovely, could not find anything that wasn't first class, would definitely go back.

Used to be a great village pub but owners before these kind of killed that. Isnt a bad pub now, beer is a little pricy but other then that isnt bad

Eight of us ,two of them were children went for a Sunday lunch for my sons 21st birthday. The interior was lovely, very comfortable chairs and open fireplace, you could say very cosy. We got the drinks and ordered a food , after one hour of wait , waitress ask if we want more drinks ,we asked about the food, and she said it will come out soon. After another 30 minutes of wait , we checked with the staff again. The food was served and was cold , plates were not consistent and gravy had a specific non traditional flavour. Our frustration was obvious so the waitress offered us curtesy tea and coffee, by the way we had two children at the table. We were offered the cheapest drinks in the house to compensate their poor service. One more think we ordered desert and they missed one ordered by the younger child, he was not impressed. The staff were dismissive and non engaging, non came to check on us , there were running around , looked mess.

The venue and location are very nice however: Menu fairly small, maybe due to Christmas run up. Disappointing, haven't been for a long time. Dish we ordered wasn't available, felt bog standard steak and ale pie was over priced. Would very much like a lighter option. Such as sandwiches.

Although they operated a limited menu it would appear some of the staff didn't know the extent of the starters!!!!....we were told only pate when later emails suggested there was more.....disappointing Birthday treat

The pub is nice but the meal was a bit meh. "warm artisan bread" was cold and almost stale... The Christmas pie was nice but the chips were 5 mins after the pie. The pot of tea had barely half a cup and I had to ask for the milk by which time the tea was cold :(. We ordered a pudding but it didn't show up.... We gave up! And for 63 quid it seemed a bit pricey :( Staff were pleasant but over worked. Made nicer by lovely warm fire and live Christmas music from Playing Card Productions but wouldn't hurry back for a meal:(
