Harlequin in Kettering

Such a welcoming place for all. The locals make you feel so welcome and the barstaff are second to none. I popped in for one with the dog on a Saturday afternoon, I ended up getting a taxi home just after midnight. My half wasn't impressed, but the following weekend he did the same. Needless to say, we're regulars now. I can't recommend the Harlequin highly enough, a pub on the up which says it all in the present economic climate.

Jess and Katie the bar maids were without doubt a fantastic couple to host me and my partner . I really loved the fact the owner mechalla came and had a drink with us and really made us feel welcome. Fantastic staff , amazing prices and a lovely warm atmosphere defo can’t wait to return 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️

Popped in with some family members on a pub crawl, no bitter so had to have a cider, found a table but some of us had to stand, nothing special but was good for what we wanted, a quick pint, a good local pub.

Great place for live bands and good Sunday lunches .when they restart them.

Popped in for a pint after playing a game of football. Great service and a lovely atmosphere.

Under new management, trying very hard, bringing this large pub back. Extremely friendly and an enjoyable night, although I have not been down on a live music night, they have had some well known ( local ) bands. A way still too go, but so far an excellent start.

New management are brilliant. Really friendly feeling and welcoming.

I would say this is a locals pub, often have live bands on Friday evenings,

I’ve been there twice now, and I kid you not it was the best dinner I’ve had in a long time, the veg cooked to perfection the meat was to. I even had enough to take home for the next day.

Would highly recommend the Harlequin for a Sunday Carvery. We just turned up at around 14:00, after reading a recommendation on Facebook. The pub is nothing to look at from the outside or inside, however a warm and friendly welcome awaits. The carvery was awesome. A choice of 4 meats, including lamb, which is unusual for a carvery, and carved and served in huge portions. The vegetables were delicious and included cauliflower cheese and rich piping hot thick gravy. All for only £8, with free tea and coffee that you help yourself to. Did not try the puddings as we were too full after the carvery. We will be back, thank you :)

Always try to use the pub since new landlady took charge , it’s come on leaps and bounds over the last few months Just goes to show that estate pubs when run properly can be vibrant and enjoyable places for everyone . The food is amazing value all freshly cooked and vast in quantity , the bar is well stocked ,clean and the staff are very impressive and courteous always .Friday is my fave time to visit as they always have a fantastic band on and the atmosphere Really does rock .Great pub don’t be put off a visit as you’ll be disappointed to miss this gem of a local boozer

Don't judge a book by it's cover.Food was freshly cooked, and portions were large and reasonably priced. Well worth future visits. Friendly people, too.

Visited this estate pub today and was very impressed with the high quality of the beer and service , ok so on the outside it’s a little dated but tbh what pub isn’t these days , but don’t be fooled by the exterior inside beats a heart of gold , I’d heard about it doing Sunday roasts from my neighbour who visits regularly , and decided to try for myself ,for a pub of this stature I was mightily impressed , there was a choice of three meats , a vast range of piping hot vegetables and roast potatoes , the gravy was delicious as was my turkey , the place was clean to a high standard and the bar service was fantastic , best of all none of this different pricing malarkey , one set price have as much or as little as you like , also a range of home made desserts on offer , I didn’t try as I was stuffed after my main course but all looked delicious , no more trips too the trading post for us , I’ll be dining locally at a fantastic pub on my doorstep !!who knew ??? Well done to the landlady and son for making the experience memorable and enjoyable . Here’s to a bright future , cheers

Friendly pub which has, Karaoke on Saturday and musicians every Friday. Quizzes and Poker nights through the week. Great carvery on Sunday and meal deals Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Aweful pub run by an awful landlady, was moved along from there from playing a game on our phone outside. I even had the intention of going in for a pint, but after the way I was spoken to never again.
