So nice well worth the money shame you can not pay with cash but not too much of an issue lovely cocktails and food is always spot on

We visited The Swan at Walton on 12/04/25 for a birthday meal—our first time trying a Chilled Pubs venue since moving to the area. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. It may have just been an off night, but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The front-of-house team and servers seemed overwhelmed with too many tables, which led to several issues: starters were missing from our order and were instead delivered to the wrong table, and dishes arrived incomplete (such as edamame beans without the advertised chilli sauce). The most disappointing dish was the hanging steak skewer, which was incredibly tough—more like chewing rubber bullets than steak. Multiple tables were sending food back to the kitchen. Ranging from burgers to pizzas. Based on this level of food, i’m unsure if the Swan is a glorified cocktail bar as the cocktails was one positive from our visit. After the visit, I received a follow-up from what seemed to be an automated feedback system, asking if I raised my concerns during the meal. I responded honestly, noting that the staff were actually the most positive part of the experience—they remained friendly and professional despite the clear pressure they were under. I also provided my phone number, hoping to speak with someone directly about our experience, but was told there was no contact number for the restaurant. I was promised a £30 credit to my account, which I’ve yet to receive. We’re booked to visit The Three Tuns in a few weeks, but this experience has left us uncertain about whether to go ahead or cancel. Hoping for a better second impression if we do give Chilled Pubs another try.

A great meal with good company is all you could ever ask for a Friday evening. The decor of the pub and the whole atmosphere was lovely and cosy. Our server was great, the food was delicious and we had a great time! We all ordered pizza, and had the cookie sandwiches for dessert. I would definitely recommend everything we had!

My sat-nav struggled to find it, but it was worth the effort. Great choice on the menu, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended x

Decent pub serving pizza pretty quick. Other meals available but the pizzas normally come out before anything else and are the best value item. Be warned they don’t take cash payments, it’s card only.

Their wood fired pizza is to die for! Delicious does not describe it enough! The only other place Ive enjoyed a good woodfired pizza was my trip to Mauritius 2 years ago so this has completely exceeded expectations! We also ordered the fish and chips & chicken burger which was also very tasty. The service was fast and friendly and we was well looked after! Will be returning to try their stunning selection of cocktails and desserts!

All kinds of awesomeness. We were a group of six for mothers day, including 2 kids. We were brilliantly looked after by Charlotte. Food was spectacular- fresh, hot and top notch ingredients. Massive portions - you will not go hungry. The kids pizza is huge and the kids macaroni cheese comes with a tower of garlic flat bread. There was a delay with one meal - in really was no problem but they insisted we have free desserts. Their Apple Gyozas are wonderful things - you have to have them.

I like this place, it's really tasty but you have to watch out for the bill because it happened to me twice already that the waiter added an extra thing to my bill.

Our first time visiting last week after reading and hearing some very positive reviews. Booked in the week and was very busy. Gorgeous decor and nice ambience, very cosy. We ordered pizzas and a side of chips. The chips came out a lot earlier before our pizza (we were aware of the different timings for kitchens) but just a bit odd. Pizzas were a great size although personally needed to be cooked a little more, temperature a little tepid and the middle was soggy and toppings sparse. Ordered an extra topping for one of them which was missing. Service wasn’t great, no staff around to ask for things or make them aware of any issues at the time. We were asked if everything was ok after we’d eaten. Dessert was a gelato sandwich which was nice and the perfect size. Not sure we’d rush back, this isn’t that local to us anyway but overall a little disappointed with our visit.

I’ve already left a review before but come back again for a quick drink and a pizza and it’s honestly the best restaurant around here. Even though the food and drink were perfect, the best aspect of the visit was paul the barman, who shlwed the best hospitality service I have ever seen, honestly he was the nicest bloke I have ever spoken to

Food was average, not really fresh however service from lily was amazing shes so attentive and is a great asset to your team. If it was not for lilys service, i would have left very unsatisfied

Absolutely 10/10. Amazing atmosphere, always warm and cosy inside. ALL members of staff are so friendly and will do there best to ensure you have a good experience. Shout out to Brad, an asset to the company. Love the place, been going for years, doesn’t get boring!

Our recent visit to The Swan at Walton's Flower Room was nothing short of exceptional. We were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the evening. The cocktails were beautifully made and delicious, the food was absolutely divine, and the atmosphere was just right – creating a truly memorable dining experience. We couldn't fault a thing. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a perfect night out.

Paul was lovely behind the bar, but that doesn’t take away the fact that we waited over 20 minutes for a cocktail that turned up green instead of red and I had nearly finished my drink by the time it arrived. Decided not to stay for food.

Fantastic food and the atmosphere was great. Matt who looked after us was first class and a true gentleman. Looked after us and added that extra touch as it was my wife's birthday. Definitely going again and soon. Food choice is immense .

It went downhill badly. Got cold burger and even wrong order. Much better option is the other one in Repton.

We had a lovely night thanks to paul the barman. Never met a nicer person and if anyone in management reads this, give paul a payrise and promotion.

Paul is amazing, he made my whole day, he’s the nicest most friendly man I’ve met. He delivered such good service to me and had such a lovely conversation. The whole atmosphere itself is lovely! I would 100% recommend this place. Big up Paul!!

Paul the barman has the best customer service I have ever experienced, genuinely lovely individual would come again just because of him.

The Swan is my favourite place to go for a drink and a lovely meal I especially like the pizzas they are so tasty and huge in size ,really good value . The pub has a homely atmosphere I love the wood burning fire as you arrive.

Went on a Saturday. Quite noisy wasn't impressed to be asked to leave once we had eaten our food .

I've been there twice before and everything was perfect. The third time, in February 2025, I was there with my family and unfortunately the ingredients on the pizza were not evenly distributed, the big yakitori stick was not big, as if half of the stick's contents were missing. I'll go back there one more time to see if the chef was just having a bad day.

Great-looking spot for a night out but a bit pricey for the quality of the food. As a vegan I would like to see more options for people who don't like spicy food as two out of the three were spicy. No vegan desserts available.

Popped in for drink, staff were really friendly, making us feel really welcome. We will return and are looking forward to our next visit

I’ve been here 3 times now, each time I’ve loved it. Such a cosy pub with brilliant food. Always go out of their way to make it a special occasion. Would recommend to anyone!

Had a great meal here on a Monday lunch time. Still busy enough to have a nice atmosphere, staff were helpful and attentive but allowed us to also have a chat and order at our own pace. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Decor is very cool and comfortable.

Very disappointed!!! We choose Slow roasted pork belly as I’ve tried it before and was amazing ! But this time , food came so quickly that probably was already cooling down in the kitchen for a while . Pork belly was ok , but roast potatoes was so hard , quite difficult to cut it , didn’t really seemed fresh roasted . Yorkshire pudim cold as ice ! Can’t believe we paid £22 per each plate . No , I didn’t complain as I didn’t feel comfortable , customers should get good food for theses prices A part from the lovely waitress , the visit was a fiasco . As someone mentioned before seemed the chef had a day off

Excellent food and service will certainly go back again the only annoying thing is paying at the table with you phone you really need to check your bill we had to have ours ammend twice because the waitress loaded it incorrectly and didn't know how to correct it Shame

We are a family of 5, and we all absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so cosy and warm! All the staff are super friendly and always ask for allergies. Great free car park and lovely cocktails and mocktails for the children.

The food would have been good but it came out tepid - not the kitchens fault though, our waiter spent nearly 20 minutes talking to a couple he clearly knew so our food was left waiting for ages. Apart from that it was good

Absolutely perfect for.our 7th Anniversary on 29th.. i only recently discovered.this amazing pub and restaurant earlier this year and was impressed from my first visit to my most recent.. everything is superb about it and it is in our top 3 places to eat and dine and spend time in in over the 4 counties we visit frequently.. The staff are friendly and very attentive to customers and the ambience and decor they created for the festive period was incredible.. very impressed myself and my wife...

Nice and posh restaurant style bar / pub, good service, clean tables, not sticky, clean area, floor, chairs. Big pizzas , ok for 1.

Lovely spot with great decor. Vast menu with lots to choose from. Went for small bites to start, a pizza and a large main. Drinks menu extensive too. It’s a chain but doesn’t feel like it. Definitely worth a revisit.

This place always delivers on quality and service. 2 meals here the week before Christmas and both fantastic.

Atmosphere props up the food, staff are also equally miserable. Served food that was cold and way over cooked, server was miserable and half our food was missing. Only redeeming feature is a nice atmosphere and setting to have a pint and that’s about it.

There's always something that disappoints here. The Christmas Feast burger was a huge let down and only worth about half the price it cost. The turkey dinner would have been good had they remembered to bring the veg. It used to be good here but I get the impression that they've got complacent and just take custom for granted.

There was a delay in being seated, however this was down to an issue with the party before us. The young waitress was run off her feet trying to keep everyone happy in the area that she was looking after. Our party were annoyed at the actions of her manager berating her on the floor, instead of a) taking her out of earshot of diners or b) pulling his shirt sleeves up and offering a helping hand. Some of the pizzas were cold and had to be sent back, I believe there are two kitchens so it looked like they are left on the counter until the normal food orders were ready. It wasn't the best experience but we will go back at a less busy time and hope that everything runs more smoothly.

Went with my grandparents , food was amazing. Service from a blonde girl and brown haired girl was amazing they were so lovely and helped my grandad picked a meal .

First visit here, very nice atmosphere and great decorations. The pub is a bigger place than first thought. This is at the moment a card only place.no cash. There is plenty of parking at the rear, left side of the pub to enter car park and exit on the right.I didn't have food this time but will definitely be back to try. Large selection of ales and lagers, I had dark star and Victoria. Very nice. It's definitely worth a visit if in the area. Dog friendly, too.

Food was beautiful but I must have lost touch.. asked for glass of Prosecco which was measured out in a measuring cup.. ended up with half a glass. Is this normal !!

Been here many times and nearly every visit the food and service is great. We now always have the pizza as they are so tasty.

Visiting tonight (Wednesday) for my birthday celebration organised by my best friend. Ten of us. Food was very delayed and when it eventually came, five of the meals were stone cold. Four were hot and no signs of the pizza. They took the cold meals back and eventually they were replaced. Half the party had eaten theirs before the replacements arrived. Then shortly after the pizza came but only after this was chased. We had to ask for drinks throughout. Cold desserts ordered and took 30 minutes to arrive. We were then left without any service (we were upstairs) despite us wanting more drinks/coffees. They weren’t busy in the restaurant. There were empty tables. We decided to call it a day and when my friend went to pay the staff were quite hostile.. I felt heart broken for my friend who had organised and paid for this celebratory meal.

Food and service were great, but the app let it down. It was awkward and slow to pay and would have been much easier just using contactless.

I love walking the dog down on a weekend and have a pint & pizza. Also a good place for date night. Food is always excellent.

Most awful Stroganoff I have ever had , burnt steak , paprika added at the end as if the 'chef' had forgotten about it . Inedible.

I'm a pescatarian, so more fish options on the menu would be nice.

Disappointed to be honest! Ok so I’m sure the app ordering speeds things up but three beers listed on the app not in stock, so perhaps remove them? The app system is all very well in a lunchtime cafe but tbh when I’m paying a mid range price and dining out in the evening, I’d like a bit of service. Food was good but the final straw was being asked to vacate the table after an hour, whilst still drinking our drinks, because we didn’t want a dessert. Not a relaxing experience, won’t return. Never experienced this at any of their other pubs.

Fantastic food, fantastic portions, fantastic service, fantastic staff, fantastic atmosphere, great value for money. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Just FANTASTIC.

We popped in for a drink and the The Swan was stunning, We will definitely come back for food we looked at the menu and it all sounded delicious. The Yakitori sticks looked absolutely amazing when they were bringing them out.

I ordered the plaice fish and it was disgusting! Horribly presented , badly prepared… I didn’t even eat it. I wish I took a photo, it was basically swimming on my plate. Other people on our table ordered fish and chips and the fish was all batter , hardly any fish meat. We all left and went to the anglers instead.

Trying to book again is now a nightmare as it's all no human contact messages no phone number, fine if you like messing with tech and stuff but sadly takes the joy out of it so decided to cancel and book somewhere else. Was 5 stars but now sadly not . Lovely food and good service

Service fairly slow. The food was middle of the road. Wasn't really worth the wait and overpriced. I didn't complain at the time because we were with guest who had chosen the venue.

First time visiting The Swan for lunch today. We really enjoyed ourselves, as a group of 7 with 2 grandchildren we were taken care of by a lovely young man named Bradley. From meeting him as we walked in nothing was too much trouble for him. Asking and making sure if anyone had any special requirements and was particularly kind to our little ones who were a bit shy. The meals we chose were all different, great portion sizes and delicious. With such pleasant surroundings we will certainly be returning.

Nice and cozy restaurant with large variett of tasty foods and drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Booking is recommended, especially in peak time. Free parking is available in the 2 car parks behind the building. Ordering via mobile app or with the help of waiters. Higher but still reasonable prices.

I usually say that staff make the difference... well, not always! Atmosphere, decorum and the taste did... it's hard to separate the taste from the work of staff but i was disappointed by the front of house staff. Our table was dirty when we came in. Took them 15min to clean it and we had to ask for it to be cleaned again cause the first attempt was a joke. The order was wrong then they told us to get the cutlery ourselves... small annoying details. The food, however, was good. We had a Milan pizza and some "sticks" (small skewers). The conclusion: order takeaway from here and you'll have a lovely experience :)

Good menu but several items were not available including bread! They have a section of the menu for sandwiches but could only offer white bread. I ordered without bread but wasn't offered any discount or alternative You can no longer pay at the table I will not be going again which is a shame as the food was good

so disappointed ..first of all we had a group booking and was told we would have tables together for a birthday, that was not the case we was put upstairs on a boiling hot day with windows screwed shut !! to sit on separate tables ..fans was provided but was way to hot to sit comfortably ...ordered steak which came with a long blonde hair on it !!! (i noticed other reviews mention blonde hair in food too ) wifes dinner also had a blonde hair eugh ..steak had no flavour was very bland /chips,mushroom etc seemed as though was all deep fat fried ..too be honest iw as looking forward to it but do not order steak ! ..my sons chicken burger he also said was very bland no seasoning no taste ..overpriced place 1st and last time we will go there left there actually feeling quite sick .. cant fault the service girl she done her best ..son had a bottled drink and the glass was disgusting literally lumps of food or something round the rim ....we nearly left before ordering food i wish we did now

We went as a family for a members birthday , they stuck us upstairs was very hot , fair enough they put fans on , but couldn’t open windows . Food quite expensive for what you get , fish and chips very fatty was like just tipping oil in your mouth and drinking it felt quite sick after , had hair in mine also , no didn’t moan as just wanted to eat and get out ! Also dirty glasses 1st and last time for me , not worth the money !!! Looks nice but that’s about it !!

Always a warm reception, another fantastic pub from the Chilled Pub group. Food is always spot on, and there’s a good selection of drinks. Service is always good too.

It was mine and my boyfriends 1 year anniversary and I’d just had the worst haircut before our meal :/ Our server Bradley made our experience the best- he recommended the most amazing cocktail for us, and remained really lovely and professional when the online payment system wasn’t working. I ended up having the best night, we left with full bellies and extra pizza and the atmosphere there really is 10/10 and so worth the money. 1000x better than spending the money at a chain restaurant (like miller and carter) but the quality and creativity is MILES away from your local pub - but they still manage to keep the cozy atmosphere of one. Cannot recommend enough. ❤️❤️
