Parking ok, nice staff, security all night long

The stockyard was recommended by my brother in law a former truck driver. I had a small breakfast and tea. It was delicious I will go again when I'm in the area.

Good facilities plenty of parking excellent food

Large parking lot and about as many restaurants as there are that operate after 1 hour, namely in the morning and in the afternoon from 4:00 p.m., there are not many facilities in the area, the sure inconvenience after the restaurant closes at 12:00 p.m. remains 1 safe bathroom for 100 trucks, the shower is also inside the restaurant which can only be accessed when it is open. I don't recommend the parking lot, I didn't have fewer stars because I was giving 0.

Always look forward to a stop in the stockyard. Cheap but delicious home cooked food, very generous portions. Friendly staff and very efficient service. The property itself is intriguing and always lots to look at if you like antique/ vintage things. Really good stop and highly advise their bacon baps from the brekkie menu or roast pork roll with stuffing for lunch! Also the chips are proper home cooked and give me nostalgia for my childhood! Another great stop today! Thanks ladies!

Got fish & chips last night the fish was flat and skinny for something like £10 £12 quid as I got a bottle of pop absolutely terrible sure it was a dover sole or some sort of flat fish won’t be ordering that again.

When you register for parking you will be given a £4.50 voucher which can be used towards food and also towards a glass of beer. Friendly staff.

Probably one of the best truckstops in England. The food is fantastic and the beer is a reasonable price. My only gripe is people sitting at the bar making it hard to get served.

would get five stars if it wasn’t for the showers . there very dated and need a make over . the food is spot on though , the staff are friendly . and yes i will stop again

Ordinarily I would be stopping overnight, but this visit was on our way back from a weekend away. As always, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the food was bloody lovely - no surprises there ! One of the best truck stops that I know and didn't disappoint for a flying visit for breakfast.

Excellent Breakfast at Stokyard I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, where I enjoyed one of the best breakfasts – the "Stokyard Breakfast." Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I opted for toast and requested no black pudding or milk in my tea, and the staff followed my preferences exactly. The restaurant also has a bar, but customers should be mindful of the hours, as it is not open all day. I've attached some photos of the restaurant and bar schedule to help plan your visit. The hours are a bit limited, so make sure to check before coming. For truck drivers, there’s also a £5 voucher available, which is a nice bonus. I was also very impressed with the facilities. The showers were hot and extremely clean, as were the toilets. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and clean facilities, especially if you're just passing through!

Food very good, loads of parking.. Only bad thing, If you leave early, The facilities for having a wash is Bad, 1 outside little shed.

Great home cooked food at decent prices. Plenty of choice on the menu. The ladies serving are very friendly and have good chat😊

A truly delicious meal - £4.99 after paying Snap parking! The Toby Carvery does not compare. The Yorkshire Pudding was moist and cooked beautifully. The roasts were also just right. Mash - fluffy and tasty. The beef and gammon were generous slices and tender. Gravy was homemade with pieces of meat in it. What a wonderful meal - I will be here again with my truck! 😊😁

After passing here many many times on my travels and seeing how busy it is after 1600, I decided to pop in during the day for breakfast. Very large parking area, lots of space but the spaces lines are slightly faded (hard to see in the wet). Go inside and there is vintage cigarettes machines on the walls which are very cool to look at it. Parking is by snap in the reception. Now the best bit, the breakfast was fantastic, hot fresh and delicious, a proper breakfast and for the price was excellent. I haven’t tried an evening meal but I’m sure if the breakfast is good the rest will be. One to visit if you’re in the area and are hungry

Large truckstop that fills up quickly but managed to get me in, they don’t seem to get greedy with the amount of trucks they get in either like some other large truckstops. Carvery on offer was quite basic and bland, but filled a gap, toilets were also grim. Showers are quite basic but I understand they are due to be replaced.

Really good from the trucklady experience. Toilets, bathroom facilities and showers brilliant, clean and tidy. Refreshments and food service excellent plenty of parking. All clean tidy and free of rubbish well worth a visit if needing g and overnight stop

It's been a long weekend here. Very suitable for a driver. Large parking lot, toilet and shower for free. Friendly prices and friendly staff in the restaurant. The food is delicious and fair portions. There is a shop and discount store within walking distance. I'll come another time when I'm there.

Great truck stop, snap parking, All staff are friendly as well as the night guy's. But be careful of parking near a fridge, some say there off and then it starts up. Otherwise had great stops here.

excellent parking, with snap, they give you a voucher of 4 pounds for a snack, the cuisine is excellent, there is a colorful bar, draft beer at reasonable prices, the atmosphere is cool, there are often live musicians, the parking lot is large, but almost 90% full by 5 pm, at 6 you are unlikely to be, the showers and toilets are clean, I recommend!

Great seating area, well lit, SNAP payment, 5 pound voucher, free toilet and shower. The women in the kitchen are beautiful, very polite and accommodating. There is one small drawback: it would be great if in the future they prepared beef or chicken food for Muslim guests. Thank you in advance. Good luck to all.

Only thing that let's this place down is one toilet in a morning that everyone has to use so waiting for a wash and to use the toilet might take a while and fridge lorries are allowed to park anywhere and have there trailers running all night according to the parking staff. Not good if your next to one.

Usually excellent all round food drink and showers. But tonight i got parked between two fridge trailers. I asked are they running to be told no theyre off. Ive now been woken up 3 times by the diesel engines of the fridges kicking in. Dont like being lied too.

Had meat and tatti pie past 3 times I’ve been and it’s been absolutely, totally and utterly beautiful I seh.

Chris had an amazing experience The customer service was top-notch, and the food exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a homy atmosphere

Snap parking is good the pub is nice the food is typically English cuisine. the toilet is clean but most of the parking lot asphalt smells like piss. The fault of the drivers and the long distance, of course.

What fantastic hidden gem, have driven past the signs many times this is the first time I have stopped. The food is fresh and very nice at very reasonable prices. I had gammon chips egg and peas for £8.90, tea and coffee just over £. Seem to be a place for the trucker’s not to rip them off, wish there were more like this

One of the best truck parks I've been to. Delicious breakfast, clean hot showers, classic pub bar, friendly staff. Unfortunately I fell asleep and missed the carvery but will definitely have it next time I stop here.

First time here and definitely will come again when I pass through Food is very nicely priced, even better when you park for the night with snap as you get £4.50 of your bill. Showers are nice and hot very clean. They clearly have been done up recently. Staff are very helpful And plenty of parking 10/10 for everything
