Very good Truckstop, one of the few in the UK worthy of 5 stars.

Parking Snap, there is a terminal at the entrance. £5 voucher for 24 hours. The parking lot is very big. The girl at the checkout is very nice, she speaks Russian too.

I am quite a carvery snob and what I have just eaten is one of the best I've had, let alone for just over £3 with the meal voucher. Service and cleanliness is also top-notch. The only minor criticism is that the toilets and showers could do with an update but I won't mark it down because they're actually CLEAN. Other truck stops could learn something about how to attract and treat drivers.

A location close to the M1, with a large restaurant and very friendly staff. I recommend!

Went to open mic night at the bar . Had an enjoyable time.

It's a great pub for chilling. Food is good value, it's an interesting set up, we often go back there.

The ones at the bar don't tell you and it's not announced anywhere that you can't get the rest from the 5 Lira voucher. TOTALLY INCORRECT!!!!!!! For a £3.50 beer they charged me £5. BARRACKS !!!!!!

Excellent truck stop. Good location just off the M18. Large and mostly flat yard...no major pot holes like some but gets busy and fills up during week nights. Approx 6/7 showers kept clean. The cafe / bar does a nice carvery week nights. Also usual other meals...including burgers etc. The bar is next to the cafe.... lovely pint of moretti. Snap payment available and includes a £5 food voucher.

I want to say a huge thank you to the cafe staff who worked on 12/01/24.. these are very responsive people who helped with my problem (the fact is that I forgot my jacket there and when I came to pick it up they checked everything and didn’t find it (((I left but I couldn’t believe that something could be missing in such a wonderful place... I came a second time and they still found it))).. these are very good-natured people who came to meet me... once again great Thank you)))

I was guided by these good opinions and came here. My mistake, some people have poor standards and rate this parking lot so highly. The parking lot is closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. you won't take a shower, or you won't even take a shower after 4 p.m., because the water is cold, only the heater will be turned on, and after 2 hours you may get hot water. Refrigerated trucks are accepted at the end of the parking lot on the right, generally nothing special, this is my first and last time.

£23 per night, secure parking with security, good food, clean showers, Pub. What more could you want? The parking lot is very crowded during the week, so finding a spot after 6 p.m. is a miracle 😀

Loved my stay at the stockyard, great atmosphere, great food, parking on snap is always a bonus. I was fairly lucky, due to a load delay I was early afternoon but by late afternoon it was already starting to fill. Try and go in early. There’s also a few reserved spaces marked by a traffic cone. Don’t touch their traffic cones. By the evening it was rammed full. The atmosphere in here in an evening is amazing - met the Trucker5’s group in here, who are here every single night. The food from the restaurant was outstanding and the bar staff were brilliant. I can see this place needing to extend pretty soon, it’s very very popular. #stockyardtruckstop #trucker5 #casper

Rotherhams best kept secret. Old world charm of a pub. Great food to be had in the restaurant. Ideal go to place for truckers but still used by the locale.

A good pub and place for Trucks to park up for night, get some thing to eat food is good there, tollets , safer than parking in lay buy ,people there to kept a eye on things at night time . A nice place to meet friends and have a drink and on a Tuesday night they have that come long do couple of songs and a man does the disco music all sort of music people sing .

Good place to stay, plenty of spaces, food wasn’t bad, £5 meal voucher plus has Snap account. Only down side is that the 4g and signal wasn’t great. Overall good place though.

In my opinion this is one of the best car parks in England. At the entrance you are greeted by a guy who shows you where to park, payment is snap, a voucher for 5 pounds without additional charges, the food is super, a very cozy restaurant, shower, toilet. The staff is very friendly. Thank you! There would be more such parking lots

Good overnight place to park. Only downside is the overnight outside toilet. For over 100 trucks. Needs updating.

Sorry to say but the food portions are made according to the customer's nationality. Sorry I didn't have my phone with me to take a picture of the food portion I paid £12.50 for. The serving staff (the oldest ) is a bit cheeky when you can't communicate very well in English.

Everything is really nice but this one toilet in the morning outside the building.😒

The stockyard was recommended by my brother in law a former truck driver. I had a small breakfast and tea. It was delicious I will go again when I'm in the area.

Large parking lot and about as many restaurants as there are that operate after 1 hour, namely in the morning and in the afternoon from 4:00 p.m., there are not many facilities in the area, the sure inconvenience after the restaurant closes at 12:00 p.m. remains 1 safe bathroom for 100 trucks, the shower is also inside the restaurant which can only be accessed when it is open. I don't recommend the parking lot, I didn't have fewer stars because I was giving 0.

Always look forward to a stop in the stockyard. Cheap but delicious home cooked food, very generous portions. Friendly staff and very efficient service. The property itself is intriguing and always lots to look at if you like antique/ vintage things. Really good stop and highly advise their bacon baps from the brekkie menu or roast pork roll with stuffing for lunch! Also the chips are proper home cooked and give me nostalgia for my childhood! Another great stop today! Thanks ladies!

Got fish & chips last night the fish was flat and skinny for something like £10 £12 quid as I got a bottle of pop absolutely terrible sure it was a dover sole or some sort of flat fish won’t be ordering that again.

When you register for parking you will be given a £4.50 voucher which can be used towards food and also towards a glass of beer. Friendly staff.

Probably one of the best truckstops in England. The food is fantastic and the beer is a reasonable price. My only gripe is people sitting at the bar making it hard to get served.

Excellent Breakfast at Stokyard I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, where I enjoyed one of the best breakfasts – the "Stokyard Breakfast." Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I opted for toast and requested no black pudding or milk in my tea, and the staff followed my preferences exactly. The restaurant also has a bar, but customers should be mindful of the hours, as it is not open all day. I've attached some photos of the restaurant and bar schedule to help plan your visit. The hours are a bit limited, so make sure to check before coming. For truck drivers, there’s also a £5 voucher available, which is a nice bonus. I was also very impressed with the facilities. The showers were hot and extremely clean, as were the toilets. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and clean facilities, especially if you're just passing through!

Ordinarily I would be stopping overnight, but this visit was on our way back from a weekend away. As always, the staff were lovely and friendly, and the food was bloody lovely - no surprises there ! One of the best truck stops that I know and didn't disappoint for a flying visit for breakfast.

Food very good, loads of parking.. Only bad thing, If you leave early, The facilities for having a wash is Bad, 1 outside little shed.

A truly delicious meal - £4.99 after paying Snap parking! The Toby Carvery does not compare. The Yorkshire Pudding was moist and cooked beautifully. The roasts were also just right. Mash - fluffy and tasty. The beef and gammon were generous slices and tender. Gravy was homemade with pieces of meat in it. What a wonderful meal - I will be here again with my truck! 😊😁

After passing here many many times on my travels and seeing how busy it is after 1600, I decided to pop in during the day for breakfast. Very large parking area, lots of space but the spaces lines are slightly faded (hard to see in the wet). Go inside and there is vintage cigarettes machines on the walls which are very cool to look at it. Parking is by snap in the reception. Now the best bit, the breakfast was fantastic, hot fresh and delicious, a proper breakfast and for the price was excellent. I haven’t tried an evening meal but I’m sure if the breakfast is good the rest will be. One to visit if you’re in the area and are hungry

Large truckstop that fills up quickly but managed to get me in, they don’t seem to get greedy with the amount of trucks they get in either like some other large truckstops. Carvery on offer was quite basic and bland, but filled a gap, toilets were also grim. Showers are quite basic but I understand they are due to be replaced.
