The best parking lot I've ever been to in England. And there are quite a few I've been to and this is the first time I've allowed myself to comment on parking lots anywhere. Everything is great from the person who greets you to the restaurant and the bathrooms and toilets, not to mention the luxury there, even for hotels.

This place is in the industrial estate at Hellaby. A truck stop with that has a pub and restaurant. It’s really worth a visit a nice menu that in this day and age is amazing value! The portions are very very good also and the food is so good! Well worth a visit!

Never been to another truck stop with a carvery

I was enroute from the south to the north and stopped there for a short break. The service was good, but the food was sub-standard. I ordered a regular British staple, fish & chips, and the fish was dry & both were Luke warm. I couldn't wait to get out of there. 😏😏

Great place to stay, food was lovely, i had the carvery, get in early as it gets full every night.

I have been staying here for over year every week and the last couple of meals have not been the best unfortunately. I had pie and mash recently and meat in the pie was not nice at all, it was full of tiny bits of meat which was very grisly as opposed to normally chunks of beef, I should have said when I was there but there was a lot of people at the carvery. This week I had gammon, egg and chips and again unfortunately the chips where awful due to being precooked and left to go cold and rubbery and the gammon was so salty, also it looked like it had been thrown on the plate. Normally never any issues so please don’t compromise on quality and service.

Can I usually find a place on Saturday 2:00 o clock pm? Can I make a reservation somehow?

Super parking, quiet, packed at night. There is a free shower and toilet. The price is 23 liras with the included voucher, payment in a cafe where you can eat right away, and there is also a bar. Shops are approximately two kilometers away.

Excellent parking with Snap voucher for 24 hours 5 pounds for 48 hours 10 pounds, excellent cafe, nice staff, there is a Russian-speaking girl who will help with the menu.

For the UK, the prices for both parking and food are low - and the quality is quite high. The parking lot is full after 6 p.m. during the week. At night there is silence, a separate place for trucks with a working refrigeration unit. With parking you can pay with DKV food voucher £5. I recommend

Great place to stop, safe and secure, It could do with more toilet's. 3 traps for hundreds of drivers is not enough and 1 x out of hours toilet isn't much good either. Nice food and Pub, not as I use it being on duty !

Always happy to go there, whether just for a short or long break. Food is great and delicious. Next door is an uncomfortable pub. Toilet and shower clean and staff nice and friendly 👍👍👍

Fantastic breakfast & reasonably priced too. Very quick service. Only gripe is the fried bread is a bit naff but all in all areas very tasty breakfast. Would recommend & also open early on a Sunday 👍

Love the place the staff are first class always have the banter with the drivers. Only problem for me is the food is too nice big portions steak pie next level. I would park there more but trying to lose weight.

Stopped here lastnight, had a lovely pint of dark cider then had the best gammon egg peas and chips I've ever had, perfect, then a lovely bacon sandwich this morning to go. Best truckstop in the country.

Parking on the 5th floor You can pay with SNAP and fuel cards.

One of the best Truck stops in England, in my opinion. Ample parking (SNAP), good food (atmospheric pub and restaurant, nice staff), shower and toilet 5 out of 5.

It is very clean, safe, DKV passes, the employees are friendly, their prayers are very clean, the toilets are very clean.

First visit for me, really lovely meat and potato pie, chips, pea and gravy. Big portions and really good price. Will have to have another visit to try the other food and maybe a pudding.

30 odd years on the road and I'd never used the stockyard , now I stop by if I passing just cos the food is so good , plenty of hard standing parking and clean facilities, and the staff are always chirpy .

Large truck stop with organised parking. Clean toilets and showers. Awesome restaurant serving a carvery with a few other options that I haven't tried, because what trucker turns down decent home cooked vegetables when they're available? Friendly staff. A bar with live music last time I was there. I don't think there is a shop, but who cares. Top 5 in the country!

Parking Snap, there is a terminal at the entrance. £5 voucher for 24 hours. The parking lot is very big. The girl at the checkout is very nice, she speaks Russian too.

I am quite a carvery snob and what I have just eaten is one of the best I've had, let alone for just over £3 with the meal voucher. Service and cleanliness is also top-notch. The only minor criticism is that the toilets and showers could do with an update but I won't mark it down because they're actually CLEAN. Other truck stops could learn something about how to attract and treat drivers.

A location close to the M1, with a large restaurant and very friendly staff. I recommend!

It's a great pub for chilling. Food is good value, it's an interesting set up, we often go back there.

The ones at the bar don't tell you and it's not announced anywhere that you can't get the rest from the 5 Lira voucher. TOTALLY INCORRECT!!!!!!! For a £3.50 beer they charged me £5. BARRACKS !!!!!!

Excellent truck stop. Good location just off the M18. Large and mostly flat yard...no major pot holes like some but gets busy and fills up during week nights. Approx 6/7 showers kept clean. The cafe / bar does a nice carvery week nights. Also usual other meals...including burgers etc. The bar is next to the cafe.... lovely pint of moretti. Snap payment available and includes a £5 food voucher.

Good vice food and clean showers, large parking lot can also be paid with SNAP. Saturday and Sunday still work the rest.

I want to say a huge thank you to the cafe staff who worked on 12/01/24.. these are very responsive people who helped with my problem (the fact is that I forgot my jacket there and when I came to pick it up they checked everything and didn’t find it (((I left but I couldn’t believe that something could be missing in such a wonderful place... I came a second time and they still found it))).. these are very good-natured people who came to meet me... once again great Thank you)))

I was guided by these good opinions and came here. My mistake, some people have poor standards and rate this parking lot so highly. The parking lot is closed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. you won't take a shower, or you won't even take a shower after 4 p.m., because the water is cold, only the heater will be turned on, and after 2 hours you may get hot water. Refrigerated trucks are accepted at the end of the parking lot on the right, generally nothing special, this is my first and last time.

Loved my stay at the stockyard, great atmosphere, great food, parking on snap is always a bonus. I was fairly lucky, due to a load delay I was early afternoon but by late afternoon it was already starting to fill. Try and go in early. There’s also a few reserved spaces marked by a traffic cone. Don’t touch their traffic cones. By the evening it was rammed full. The atmosphere in here in an evening is amazing - met the Trucker5’s group in here, who are here every single night. The food from the restaurant was outstanding and the bar staff were brilliant. I can see this place needing to extend pretty soon, it’s very very popular. #stockyardtruckstop #trucker5 #casper

£23 per night, secure parking with security, good food, clean showers, Pub. What more could you want? The parking lot is very crowded during the week, so finding a spot after 6 p.m. is a miracle 😀

A good pub and place for Trucks to park up for night, get some thing to eat food is good there, tollets , safer than parking in lay buy ,people there to kept a eye on things at night time . A nice place to meet friends and have a drink and on a Tuesday night they have that come long do couple of songs and a man does the disco music all sort of music people sing .

Good place to stay, plenty of spaces, food wasn’t bad, £5 meal voucher plus has Snap account. Only down side is that the 4g and signal wasn’t great. Overall good place though.

In my opinion this is one of the best car parks in England. At the entrance you are greeted by a guy who shows you where to park, payment is snap, a voucher for 5 pounds without additional charges, the food is super, a very cozy restaurant, shower, toilet. The staff is very friendly. Thank you! There would be more such parking lots
