Superb Pub and if you want to drink Guinness l,then this is the place.

Much talk about this venue around their Guinness by those who drink it. While many can see it as a bit of a drink with a cult following, as a big Guinness drinker myself, I had to try it first hand. Without a doubt the best pint of Guinness I've had in Didsbury, perhaps even in the Greater Manchester area. Served cold so if you like it on the warmer caramel side, perhaps not for you but otherwise I can't fault it. The pub itself is a proper drinkers haven. I made the mistake of walking in with the little one and was told there's a no child policy. Not a problem, really, as they did allow me to try a couple of pints and sit on the front benches, which I had no issue with. Just bare this in mind if you're planning on a flying visit. I'm giving 4 out of 5 as I've not spent an afternoon but will definitely return at some point to give it a proper whirl.

The station didsbury manchester Absolutely amazing vibe came in last night with family and friends had a brillant night. The bar staff are really lovely, also met Eddie the owner and he is a very nice guy. We are not from Manchester only came up as working in the area but we will certainly be back again. Prices were decent, loved the vibe also has live music too was very happy that I came across this pub.

Best pint of Guinness outside of ireland according to many. A proper Irish pub.

So welcoming, first time visiting The Station and felt like a local straight away - would definitely recommend plus the Guinness is fab!

Did not have any food went to listen to live Irish music, Thursday night is music night I think. The Guiness is one of the best I have ever tasted outside Ireland

Absolutely phenomenal pub in Didsbury. The staff are amazing . They're friendly and attentive and always serve good pints . They have a nice selection of beers on draught too (I particularly enjoy the Asahi) The Guinness is the best I've had in Manchester. Creamy, tasty and always class . (Better than Mulligans in my opinion) Always a good time at the station. Sláinte!

Lived in Didsbury 8 years and this was my first visit but it certainly won't be my last. Looking in, you think it's tiny but in actual fact it's more like rhe tardis!! Its a proper pub and if you are a lover of Guinness then this is the place for you! From prooer pints of Guinness to a baby Guinness!! ( you really need to try it! ) this place was warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere ( until I put ferry across the meresy on the jukebox!! ) joking aside, there was plenty of sport on the tv's, the staff and drinkers were all amazing friendly and polite. It's certainly a local pub but don't let that put you of as you are made to feel welcome from the moment you set foot inside. The Guinness is amazing with alot of the old posters and signs. Well worth a visit.

Lovely little Marston pub on the high street in didsbury. 2 cask ales on along with the usual on draught. The Guinness is really nice. It's got a bit of an Irish theme going on and has assortment of sports memorabilia on the walls. Shows the sport and has a dartboard. Friendly staff and old school vibe. Highly recommended if in the area.. It's the best one I've been to in didsbury. 🍻 🎯 ⚽ 🇮🇪 👍

Great local pub, serves great Guinness, had an Irish band on in the evening who were great, it's not a huge place so get in early.

If you're Irish come in to the parlour

Good for live sport, with plenty on show from Football, Rugby and GAA. Being an Irishman it's a great spot for a proper pint of Guinness. Unfortunately they do not serve food but you can get proper Tayto crisps from the Republic of Ireland.

It's quite a nice pub BUT one guy who works there were very rude to us for no reason. He didn't let me and my friend buy a non-alcoholic drink. We went there for the first time so we didn't know we probably can buy there only alcohol drinks. Anyway we ordered a pepsi and then we were in a very rude way asked to leave the pub. We understand it is a pub and it is expected to buy an alcohol but still think there is a polite way to ask. I definitely know better pubs in Didsbury...

Friendly Irish bar in the heart of Didsbury, arriving ice cold Guinness with hearty pub grub to accompany. Lively on a Saturday night, with a retro juke box pimpin out old hits. Quite a cosy space along the bar with additional space towards the back and live sports in TV showing the rugby and more importantly the Hurling.

Very nice visit here , drink was fairly cheap so makes it worthwhile if there is a crowd of you , there was a duke box as well which everyone was singing along To and having lots of fun I love it here and definitely recommend it for a fairly cheap night out

A dreary full place on the day I visited

Excellent a lot of pub given its size

I visited here with a couple of friends a couple of weeks ago. The bar itself was nice, however the lady who served us, who I remember was wearing a bandana and had glasses, was quite rude to my friend (who for the record, had just joined us and was sober). He politely requested a drink he had already paid for, but the lady turned quite angry. Not looking to escalate a situation, my friend politely responded and turned to join us. Surprisingly, the lady then went to summon security staff over, I can only speculate that this was an attempt to have my friend ejected. The security staff member was quite polite and helpful and after listening to my friends case allowed us to continue with our night. He also apologised for the behaviour of the bar staff which I thought was quite decent of him. He is the reason I am awardning 2 stars rather than 1. This incident stuck out for me as perhaps the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. A polite, sober paying customer was treated with utter contempt. I can only imagine that this lady was going through some sort of issues that night, but if she is unable to control her attitude towards paying customers, then perhaps she shouldn't be serving them.

One bar staff on duty and very accommodating but unable to help when we felt a little intimidated by an idiot sat outside, as she had no one to help her

Alright, I suppose. Take your life in your own hands at the weekend though.

Has GAA and the craic but prepare to be poisoned by the Guinness. Overflowing on match days so be ready to use your elbows.

The Station is a fantastic little pub. The staff are very friendly along with a small lively atmosphere. If you are looking for something a little bit different than the standard Didsbury experience, you should certainly try here.
