Visited just before 12.30 with our dog. Very friendly owners who let us still eat from the breakfast menu even though it had just finished. Had mushrooms and kale with a poached egg on sourdough whilst my husband had the breakfast bap. Cannot fault the food or the coffee. Everything was spot on and amazing quality. The sourdough and ciabatta were amazing. Lovely bread. We waited a while for the food to as they were preparing a big takeaway order and offered us a free drink each as an apology ! Also a takeaway and deli. The quiche looked amazing and a good selection of cheese, pickles etc Thank you a lovely lunch

We were lucky to find this cafe/shop after a weekend trip to see the daffodils, when other cafes were closed. Although we were too late for lunch, we enjoyed a delicious cheese board with crackers bread, fruit and a very tasty pickle. We were able to choose our cheeses from the deli counter and they were excellent. A bit of a life saver after a tiring day!

Found this little gem after my friend moved to Newent and treated us to Afternoon Tea. The Deli had a great selection of home made and freshly sourced local goods. The Afternoon tea was outstanding. Freshly made sandwiches, home made sausage rolls, quiches, scones and cakes. All served with a choice of tea or coffee. The owners are super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning her again.

From the moment we walked through the front door we were made to feel welcome. The dining room is warm and cozy, the decor eclectic. With a choice of two menus, the bar or specials there was plenty of choice. The bar menu giving you the option to reduce your per head spend. We all opted for dishes from the specials menu!! We are a family that loves our food. Every dish was beautifully presented, well proportioned and delicious. I can whole heartedly recommend the goats cheese and pesto beignets to start and if you have a big appetite the ribeye surf and turf. There was a great choice of gluten free or gluten free adaptable options and with no gluten contamination in the fryers we could all share the fries. We only managed one dessert between six of us and were delighted with the lemon sorbet presented inside a frozen lemon. The staff were all knowledgeable and willing to help with menu suggestions, and adjustments to suit dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are not in the area it is worth going out of your way to enjoy dinner.

We enjoyed breakfast here to celebrate a birthday, and were not disappointed. We chose the Light Breakfast, but there are plenty of options to suit everyone. A lot of the ingredients are sourced locally, and all cooked and presented beautifully. With a sweet shop as part of the business, it's possible to leave with an extra treat or two for later. Get yourselves down there!

Fabulous bread and cakes and lovely friendly staff. I always enjoy their produce and like the fact they support other local small businesses.
