The Royal Oak Hotel in Thanet

Very cold no heating and Very loud music all night

Had a private Christmas party there. Function room was great, staff were brilliant, prices pretty normal for the area.

We did not ear or drink at the royal oak hotel. We made good use of the tea and coffee facilities in the room. Beds were comfy and although there was a 6pth birthday party going on, we heard absolutely nothing from our room on the 3rd floor. The only down side is that we couldn't find the TV remote. But this really didn't bother us too much.

Great hotel had 2 nights there and loved it . Staff are very friendly and relaxed atmosphere definitely worth a visit if you come to Ramsgate. Manager is a great lad. Going back here soon.

Basic rooms and service but at a good price close to Ramsgate seafront.

Old and tired, lots of stairs, no facilities in-house. Friendly people, prompt and courteous service.

Nice hotel and all but when my sister was moving out of there they offered her no help for running down her stuff down the bottom of the stairs which she had untold amount of bags, a mini fridge and a counter freezer... she wasn't very well either so she had to go hospital the day after since it made her feel ten times worse than she already was (got bronchitis and 2 cracked ribs). When we finished loading the car up downstairs we saw the owners on the balcony enjoying a pint and watching the beautiful Ramsgate sunset.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful receptionist, great location and beautiful harbour view (extra cost) I’ll definitely be returning.
