The pub has been refurbished to a high degree with an extensive beer. The pub has recently been taken over and now has more regular opening and closing hours. I recommend that more people should use to ensure it stays open. Much more lively for younger people.

A great place to launch your boat and travel into the centre of York.

Great new owners with great management who are really trying to put the place on the map for the locals. Well worth a nip in!

I was there the other Saturday with a friend from work we called in for a catch up good atmosphere friendly staff and the pubs layouts nice back garden is all done up all round good experience TVs all round the place and a pool table if that is your thing great boozer well recommended.

Finally, some decent brandy !!!!!

Popped in on Xmas eve for the first time after being on my list for ages, warm friendly atmosphere and some excellent club tunage from Ibiza to the hacienda and even Wigan casino playing in the background! Will definitely revisit.

The bar staff are always friendly. It's a very local pub for local people lol but once you keep going people are armless & legless lol. Recommended this pub for people that live in this area it's got a good size garden which I shall be frequenting in the summer months.

Great local pub. Landlord and wife are great. Beers are among the best around and fair price. Beer garden as been done up to a great standard. All in all a great place.

At £3 per pint it was a bargain. The staff were very welcoming and served me straight away. A couple of TVs had the football on and there was a room for those that weren't watching said TVs. All in all very good.

It's a decent local pub... Decor is fine and it's clean. Parking available round the side too. (If you have a designated driver...)
