We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming pizzeria. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, in particular by an exceptionally kind waitress. His attention and smile really added a special touch to our lunch. As for the pizzas, they were delicious. However, personally, I would have preferred a slightly lighter set. That said, this in no way affected my overall assessment. Overall, our experience at this pizzeria was pleasant. Between the warm welcome and the quality of the dishes served, it is certain that we will come back to enjoy this friendly atmosphere and these delicious pizzas again.

The Real Italian Pizza Co is fine for Italian food in central Cardiff. There’s plenty of choice on the menu from pizzas, pasta and a few salads. The salads are nice and a welcome healthy option. The pizzas are cooked in wood-fired ovens. I think it’s nicer to be sat downstairs here, by the open kitchen. The upstairs seating area feels a little soulless.

Food was fabulous, reminded me of when I was in Naples, Italy. The staff were also very friendly and service was very quick—highly recommended if you want some good authentic italian pizza in cardiff!

Im a recurring customer past years. Food is great and at very affordable price as I was dinning all around Cardiff. Always spot on. Friendly service, place located jus under St. DAVIDS Cathedral so cant bo more ideal for a delicious quiet italian meal in City Centre.

Great food - the eggplant parmigiana is the best ever! Great Pizzas and wonderful friendly unobtrusive, helpful and accommodating service. I’ve been eating here since they first opened but have been out of the country and so haven’t been for a few years. Thankfully, they’re as good as ever I worried about the chain pizza place opening right next door but the Real Italian Pizza company knocks the socks off them! Highly recommend - and right now they have a buy one get one half price pizza deal.

The Real Italian restaurant offers a cozy retreat for cold winter days, thanks to the warmth emanating from their authentic pizza oven.I had a delightful experience at The Real Italian restaurant. The Vivace and Bella Vita pizzas were absolutely delicious, arriving promptly within 10 minutes of ordering. The reasonable price of 42 pounds for two pizzas and a garlic butter dip made it even better. The service was excellent, with a friendly touch like having our coke poured by the staff. The only minor downside was that the pizzas arrived unsliced, but overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

absolutely delicious food. the staff were so helpful and sweet and efficient. we were ordering within a couple of minutes of walking through the doors and eating the best bruschetta of our lives. then we were eating delicious pizza within a few minutes of finishing our starter. they have a great deal of buy one get one half price on pizzas and my partner and i will absolutely be bringing everyone we know here.

Went there with my sister when I was visiting her in Cardiff, and I must say they have the best Italian pizza I've ever tried in my life. Not to mention that the starter was already big enough to make me full! The waiter (whose name I believe is Jacko) was very attentive and helped me choose the best drink to go well with my pizza, and he made an excellent choice 🤌 The cook Clementina who was in charge of my dinner that night was very friendly and came up to me when I'd finished eating to ask if the pizza was to my liking 😊 I really recommend this pizzeria if you want to eat real Italian pizza in a friendly and welcoming place in Cardiff.

Having been to Italy, I know this is real Italian! The food was very delicious. I found the pizza heavenly. All staff were wonderful and a shout to Naomi for her exceptional service.

Ordered Vivace pizza, it was really good. The gnocchi I ordered was so so. The drinks with cucumber is really nice and refreshing too!

Simply delicious. A group of 5 shared x4 Pizzas and a combo appetizer plate. Pizzas were all very very good but the combo appetizer plate with cold cuts, cheese, and vegetable was the best. Highly recommended.

Very good pizza and friendly service. Prices look fine to me and the service charge nothing unusual, but maybe coming from London we are used differently? However, compared to London the pizza is really good and well cooked with rich topping and small crust. In London you would get a big crust and small topping and that's where you see that the price it's fully worth it. Gluten free pizza option available.

My friend said I could eat the best pizza here. Well... pricey! and nothing special about it.

I got a Too Good To Go from here, so that meant we were given the basic Margherita rather than anything more elaborate. But the pizza was quickly made and delicious, with really good chewy crust and good quality mozzarella.

It was really lovely, the food was amazing and the waitress friendly. We didn’t wait long to be seated and served.

Desafortunadamente, nos colocaron torpemente abajo en una de las dos mesas. Durante aproximadamente media hora, éramos solo dos de nosotros y unos seis miembros del personal. Visualmente, el restaurante no se ve tan bien, pero la comida es deliciosa. Porción grande como entrante y fue agradable comer una pizza con tanta cobertura vegetal y no empapado en el queso y tomate habitual. No te preocupes por las gaviotas que merodean cerca, no les gusta el olor a ajo para que no te molesten.

Mientras estábamos de vacaciones, estábamos de compras en Cardiff y nos encontramos con esta pequeña joya de restaurante con asientos al aire libre. No habíamos planeado almorzar, pero después de unas horas ocupadas comprando, nos encantó encontrar este restaurante con asientos y que ofrece el plan de comida para ayudar. Esta fue nuestra primera comida desde que se redujo el bloqueo y la experiencia nos pareció muy agradable. Nos sentamos en una mesa recién limpiada, socialmente distanciados y nos sentimos muy cómodos y seguros. Nos tomó un tiempo decidir qué pedir mientras tomábamos bebidas, ya que había muchas opciones, pero esto no fue un problema y nuestros pedidos fueron tomados y la comida con nosotros en 15 a 20 minutos como máximo. Pudimos ver a los chefs preparando nuestros platos y trabajando bien juntos para brindar comida de la mejor calidad. Little gem of place - good choices on the menu, pleasant staff. Open kitchen with a view of the pizza oven in action. Sat outside (which was nice) resulting in a very pleasant couple of hours and some amazing pizza. No problem in giving them 5 stars.

We visited Cardiff for my partner's birthday looking for somewhere for dinner. We realised that the choice would be limited due to the current situation but we didn't realise how limited it would be!!! Thank goodness we came across the Real Italian Pizza Company who had made the effort to open and had several tables outside. We had a love!y meal, great wine and excellent service. Well done to the staff for making a potentially miserable evening extremely enjoyable.

Decidí parar con un viejo amigo para un almuerzo improvisado. Saludo amistoso, servicio rápido, la pizza estaba frente a nosotros antes de darnos cuenta. Ambos optaron por la pizza Nduja (olvidé el nombre). Nada menos que una base espectacular, fina y crujiente, pero no demasiado fina, salsa picante, un montón de Nduja picante y una increíble mozzarella de búfalo fresca. En general, un gran almuerzo a un precio muy modesto. Lo recomendaría absolutamente, la mejor pizza que he tenido.

We sat upstairs as a group of 6 and had the floor to ourselves.The food and service were A+ and the prices were reasonable for a city-centre restaurant.My only problem was the 12.5% added service charge.We chose not to pay the full amount and we were challenged by the waiter."I am missing money here"It was an optional charge and none of us appreciated being chased for a tip.

We have eaten here several times, the pizza has always been first class. Service can be hit or miss. The waiter is always preoccupied with his phone. We waited so long to try and order another drink that we had to leave for our concert without having them.

Dined here on Sunday evening! Food is goooooooood! Service good and efficient could do with being abit more smiley :)) we had the sharing antipasti for 3 to start and it was great. Plenty of it and a different variety of meats etc. I had the calzone which was filled with goats cheese , spinach & caramelised inions, was really delicious and very fresh & came with a nice garnish of salad dressed with a yummy balsamic glaze. Desert was incredible. Limoncello sorbet really finished off the meal after feeling very full. Really reasonable overall £123 for 3 people . Lovely evening definitely recommend!

The title of the review says it all really. It's a nice restaurant, not too big, with an upstairs seating area which we were in. The menu's choice of starters and pastas was slightly limited but there's a huge choice of pizzas, which is clearly the restaurant's main thing. Everybody in our group had different pizzas and everybody loved it. I had one with pepperoni and jalapenos which was stunning. The pizza bases are thin, with a more puffy crust, clearly cooked in a proper pizza oven.Two points worth remembering. The first is that if you order garlic bread as a starter, be aware the portion is huge, it's basically an entire pizza. All the starters were generously portioned but the garlic bread in particular was massive. I had a bruschetta tris, which was stunning and a good portion but not too big.The second point is that service when we went there was slow. There were long waits between ordering and receiving food, and between starters and mains. It wasn't an issue for us as we were having a good time chatting but if you're in any kind of rush or if you're an impatient person, perhaps look elsewhere.

Pizzas were good and the ambience is great with the wood fired oven in plain view. However, the best thing was the staff who were both friendly and efficient. We will return.

Apart from pizza and pasta The Real Italian Pizza Company also cater for vegetarians. I am not a vegetarian but still like to try a variety of dishes. To this effect I selected a main course of "Melanzane Parmigiana" which are thin slices of aubergine which are oven baked in a rich tomato sauce and topped with both mozzarella and parmesan cheese. It is so tasty and seemingly easy to cook that I might try it at home. Well worth the £12 charge.

Quite possibly the best pizzas we have ever eaten. Also great to sit by the window and watch them actually being prepared et al. Super friendly staff & the Napoli member of staff even seemed to enjoy my sense of humour!

Arriviamo alle 7 e 30, ci dicono di attendere 40 minuti, chiediamo se gentilmente potessimo attendere dentro dato il freddo e la pioggia che c erano fuori, ci rispondono scortesemente di no. Dopo aver atteso, riusciamo ad ordinare e quello che ci arriva è tutt'altro che una "real" pizza italiana. I prezzi sono uguali a tutte le pizzerie qua a Cardiff quindi non bassi ma il personale e la qualità sono pessimi.

No idea why this place is so highly rated on Trip Advisor. No chance this is a real Italian pizza, in particular the toppings were very poor, incredibly salty and not fresh. After eating dinner here I needed over 2 pints of water in the night. It's all edible and ok, just was really expecting much more based on its rating. Never again, there's much better out there.

I visited with my boyfriend on Thursday night and we were not disappointed. We had a pizza each and a large salad to share. We both said it was the best pizza we've had in ages. The staff there are all really friendly and I would highly recommend eating here. We finished with the lemon sorbet and limoncello which was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back! Sorry I haven't written a review sooner but my partner and I visit here a lot and the food is always so delicious and the servers polite and friendly. It never seems super busy which surprises me because the interior, food and staff are really a treat. The pizza has such a nice stonebaked crust and they always accommodate my annoying dietary requests. For veggies,vegans, the pizzas have proper toppings, not just a scattering of skimpy veg. You get big, juicy artichokes and gorgeous fresh basil.

I booked a table here for dinner with four friends. They said they needed the table back after 90 minutes which was not a problem as we were going on somewhere else after dinner, but this detracted from the experience in my opinion.

Przepyszna pizza oraz lasagna. Przemiła obsługa. Bardzo polecam. Szybko podane dania, miła niewielka restauracja z klimatem.
