Food was lovely and staff very friendly

Food was terrible sat outside but it was dirty litter everywhere a good clean up is required

Lunch was not bad staff friendly

Food is good, pints a bit pricey and not the greatest selection. But it's a decent pub, nice decor but not a lot of atmosphere

Had the hamhough special, mouth is still watering! So tender and juicy, fell straight off the bone! Was on a bed on creamy mash and root veg, cooked to perfection in a scrummy honey glaze. Portion size was generous too! Only gutted as im full yet want more! Service is spot on as usual, friendly, welcoming and attentive. Cant wait to come back! *Not your usual pub grub SO MUCH MORE*

Spent a fantastic 6 hours here great food brilliant beer and gardens

Wouldn't recommend as place for a meal, staff not very friendly or helpful. Ended up just walking out.

Brief visit for a bite to eat. Despite the chef not being in for some reason, the owner (I think) offered to cook me up a steak and chips which were lovely. Apparently there is also some musical entertainment on certain weekends.

Went for lunch and was blown away with the food ,I got lasagna and homemade chips and friend got steak pie absolutely out of this world.husband and wife amazing hostess very friendly and also child friendly will definitely be back with my grandkids as the kids menu and value for money is second to none

Food was very nice. Could have done with a bit more attention from staff as we sat waiting for a while to order dessert. Forgot things we asked for (salt and pepper, sauce) we had to remind them when they came back asking what we had asked for. Too busy chatting to their friends at the bar. Would have been 5 star review if the above hadn’t happened

Lovely country feel pub serving delicious home made food for very reasonable prices. There's a small room at one end of the pub with an roaring fire and the other end is an open space with a pool table and tables too.

What a great local pub!! We've just moved to the village, and CBA to cook on our first night, so we ate at the pub. What great food, and really well priced. Staff were very friendly Beer was on point, and the locals took us to heart, despite us being Outlanders!! Would highly recommend and already making excuses not to cook at home......!!

Been coming here for years since it was known as the Village Inn. The current owners have been great for this pub, they've made it look really nice inside. Decent selection of drinks and food is good too.

Had a lovely evening in the Rambler of Torrance. What a great place, beer garden is amazing. Staff so friendly and attentive, all Covid precautions taken care of. Would definitely recommend this lovely place. Will definitely return.

Lovely pub customers,manager and barstaff were really nice and made you feel welcome. I was only in for one beer while waiting to be picked up, but I honestly didn't want to leave. EXCELLENT!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Excellent local pub, great food, but seriously let down by their standards of cleanliness in the toilets. Very warm and welcoming but very off putting. Makes you wonder what the kitchen is like.......

Excellent food service was very good was a bit surprised at the bill of £124 pounds for 4 of us quite expensive What did spoil the evening was a very loud group of people in the bar I would recommend going in to the resteraunt if you want a quieter meal

Visited the rambler Torrance today for the second time and the food like the first time was amazing great value for money the Sunday roast is a great place to visit friendly and a lovely atmosphere will definitely put this on our list to come back and visit keep up the good work

This has improved greatly and the service is great, only thing that could be improved is healthier options on the menu other than that its fantastic

Great experience lovely meal and service, the new owners are doing well to build up the food business for the pub.
