Great food and lovely staff and good atmosphere

A superb meal...2 chilli, one tuna and one hunter's chicken. I can't praise the place, the food or the staff high enough. Very, very highly recommended.

Lovely meal, double cheese burger with fries, absolutely amazing, and nice friendly helpful staff especially Abi who worked running the bar and serving the food.

We were staying in Llandudno with our dog and stumbled upon the vic. We sat down and ordered our food. Very old de world de, but never the less the food was outstanding. I ordered a chilli con carne and my partner fish and chips. The chilli was presented nicely with nachos and melted cheese and was rather a big portion. My partners fish was cooked to perfection and flaked when he cut into it. The price was very reasonable for the size of the portions, and I shall definitely list the vic again when in Llandudno

Great food and drinks, good value for money , dog friendly

A proper pub with good pub food and hand pulled bitter. Had a great fish and chips here. Only problem was our table was next to a radiator which was on max. Easily solved as we moved to another table. Staff V friendly. Prices reasonable.

A group of us stopped for a few drinks. Great selection of beers on tap. Friendly service. And a nice location. We didn’t try the food, but what we saw looked very nice.

Had a lovely meal at this very friendly place and would recommend to anyone wanting a reasonably priced bit of food to give it a try

Great dog friendly also have a gluten free menu. Very helpful staff. Try the cheesey chips. Mmmmm

I liked the pub and the service. We had a G&T to start and after we ordered 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 ales. The price was top for a pub and the food in general was good, but the scampi was really disappointing. Where I come from, scampi are real prawns, but here are small fish fingers. They were supposed to come with home made tartar sauce, and there wasn't any on the plate. I went inside to check with the tender if my plate was scampi, as I would have expected this to be called fish fingers, and he said yeah it is a mic of fish breaded.

Real Welsh Pub where you can eat and drink lots of delicious food. Very cozy and atmospheric. Dogs are allowed inside and also receive a treat. Very extensive drinks menu, alcoholic or not.

Called in for a meal 11th July 2024. Such excellent service. Beer brought to table once it had settled. Food arrived quickly and was excellent. Friendly staff and good prices. Will go again on next visit to Llandudno.

They do a Lovely Sunday roast 😋

Nice enough decor and pleasant woman took our order for a pint of well kept IPA and a ginger beer. Then ordered fish and chips plus scampi and chips. I knew the prices on the menu were top end of pub food but thought the food would be especially good. A moderate sized piece of fish arrived with some very soggy chips. The scampi quantity was below average and again with soggy chips. We decided to just eat as we didn’t want to wait for more chips to be made and it was the end of an awful days weather on the first day of three in the town. The food and drinks were £41.00 which I thought was excessive really and when the barman asked was everything okay I said I was disappointed. He asked why and I said the chips were soggy and quantity poor. The response was “Oh” and off he scurried. Edit to original post. I appreciate your measured response to my comments. As I put in the post I was expecting something a bit special for £41 for two bar meals and two drinks and that as we had a schedule for the evening I didn’t want to delay the meal by complaining and having the kitchen staff remake the food especially as the pub seemed to be understaffed. Thanks again for your response.

Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. When you visiting Llandudno you should definitely come to this place ❤️ One if my favourite ❤️

Lovely friendly pub in Llandudno. Didn't eat there but the food looked really good. Would recommend a visit if visiting Llandudno.

Only had a drink, the staff were a credit to the establishment, the beers were excellent.

What’s gone wrong? We visited a year ago and I left a huge 5* however now it’s overpriced mediocre food. £13 for a jacket potato and £12 for a sandwich- if you charge that at least serve a decent portion! What a shame 😢

Rang up today to find out what time e kitchen closed and advised it was 8pm. I was travelling at 6pm and only wanted a starter so Callum was very helpful and explained the choices. I immediately said I would be there hearing they had Mushroom and Stilton soup. It was absolutely fantastic. Other guy at the bar was great too. Will definitely be back to try mains next time, thank you.

Nice atmosphere - plenty of seating out the front and inside. Darts board available. Nice food selection which looked good. Friendly staff, albeit having to deal with a drunk underage lad.

Staff were lovely and accomodating to us and our dog, bringing him water when we sat down and offering to sort out drinks when seeing us about to get up to order more

We popped in for a drink and was met with such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere we stayed for a few hours. We really enjoyed our drinks and chat with the bar staff and some locals. Great selection of drinks, reasonably priced for the location. A lovely sun terrace at the front. We didn't eat ourselves but the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We would visit again without a doubt. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

A welcoming, dog friendly pub. The food was excellent. Very tasty & decent portions. My dining companion raved about the pie that she had. My burger was well worth the price. A good selection of ales as well as your standard drinks. The pooch was provided with water and treats. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Back again at the vic and just as good as always no vegans with us this time but there was several vegan options on the menu and not just token gestures but meals well worth considering even for a non vegan all meals reasonably priced, big portions and tasty as always the staff are wonderful

Lovely pub, delicious food, highly recommend.

Service and food were very good. Dogs were allowed in the pub & restaurant which was good as we didn't want to leave ours in the car. It was fairly quiet inside due to weather conditions.

Lovely staff and very friendly atmosphere would highly reccommend, James is a lovely memeber of staff and looked after us well the 3 nights we were staying in the area.

Lovely restaurant. The roast pork belly was really good and the garlic bread hits hard ( I love it ).The staff is very nice as well.

Absolutely amazing food,friendly staff and warm,cosy atmosphere.Party of 4 with baby.Had the duck spring rolls, roast,pork belly and fish cakes with delicious desserts after. Well presented,tasty and good value for money.Highly recommended.

What a lovely old worldly pub. Exactly how they used to be, excellent don't change the look of it. A few tap beers and a descent selection of real ales. Music being piped through which were oldy Goldy tunes, I enjoyed. Descently decorated and the staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Place was clean and tidy. Enjoyed my visit.

Spent many many happy moments and time's in the best pub in Llandudno. A really lovely and friendly pub that you will most definitely enjoy. I am so happy the pub is still there as l used to have a few beers with my friends all the way back in the early 90's ( 30 + years ago ) as at the time I was Duty Manager at the St.George's Hotel. I lived in the Hotel as I'm from Edinburgh and l still talk so very highly of the Queen Vic and the happy memories that will remain with me forever. I always tell family and friends if they are ever in North Wales that they must pay you a visit. A charming happy pub enjoyed a good beer many a time. I was at the St.George 1990 - 1996. Very nice Sunday lunch. Loved the crispy parsnip topping and cauliflower cheese. Thank you. Only one thing. Meat juice in the gravy would have made it tastier. Will be back :)

Came for evening dinner tonight, although I had a slight problem with the steak pie being cool this was rectified immediately with a sincere apology from two staff. I asked to just have the pie heated but no I was given a full fresh meal. Hubby had the burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. My sincere thanks. We come to the pub every time we are here on a break and praise all staff for a warm welcome. Thank you we will be back and recommend the pub.

A dog friendly, super cozy, classic pub atmosphere with warm ambiance on a frosty cold day. I imagine the outdoor terrace is perfect during the warmer months as well. Service was bubbly and menu was as expected for a pub menu; usual favorites. Gluten Free Menu as well. Our table had Green Thai Curry, Fish n Chips, and Sandwich from Gluten Free Menu. See photos. Piping hot and tasty. Recomend any dish with chips! Those chips were a show stopper. Attention to detail for a cozy pub experience. Top pub! Stayed across the road and popped in a few times. A friendly attentive team on both busy and quieter days. Nice atmosphere and family friendly. They show the sports and serve a good pint which was nice for the evenings.

Fabulous meal with my wife here on Saturday night I had the best gammon egg and pineapple with gorgeous homemade chips wife had lovely steak and ale pie staff Fabulous very dog friendly will definitely visit again.

Nice friendly pub. Consider that my fish and chips was quite a small portion for what I paid. Partner's vegan meal was enjoyable but generally, quite a strange mix of ingredients. Additional: having received a rather offensive response from the owner, I felt it necessary to clarify the details of my original review. The 'chips' which they refer to on their menu were just potatoes cut in half, requiring very little amount of preparation, and having been offered and accepted an alternative to mushy peas, were still served as mushy peas. In terms of vegan dishes, to have a dish which featured both 'chips' and rice was what my partner considered to be a strange mix of ingredients The barman couldn't even get my drinks order correct, and although I agreed to stick with the beer he'd poured, was not impressed at the lack of attention to detail, throughout the course of our time there. Needless to say, I have now had to reduce my rating and will not be returning to a venue which cannot accept any form of constructive feedback.

We googled somewhere dog friendly to go for tea. Nice laid back atmosphere in here and the guys behind the bar were lovely!!

Nice pub, the food needs a rethink 😒

We called in after the fireworks on Sunday just gone, we were staying overnight and were glad we found this pub. I had a lovely home cooked Steak and Ale Pie (I can highly recommend) followed by a chocolate brownie and Ice Cream. It was fabulous. My wife enjoyed her fish and chips as well as a lovely bread and butter pudding. The food was really good quality tasty and home cooked. The Staff had clearly been very busy on such a busy day in Llandudno but all remained very pleasant and helpful. A credit to the pub. Next time we visit Llandudno we will definitely be eating here again. Thanks to all at the hard working Team at the Queen Victoria

Nice little pub in Llandudno with live sport. Family friendly. We only drank a pint of beer. The selection was comparatively limited and it was a bit bright, which spoiled the comfort. The service was very friendly.

Looked at reviews before hand and looked good. BUT looks can be deceiving. Our meals 1 roast chicken with chips peas and carrots 1 roast chicken with peas carrots and potatoes. Chips hard like they had been reheated peas undercooked and a very small piece of chicken. I left half my pint of pedigree because it had a slight sour taste. I know should have said something at the time but hey.definitely not worth £40.00

Great friendly pub and lovely food

We ate on 3 occasions at the Queen Victoria over the last week, and we found it to be a superb place to eat. The quality of the food was high, the presentation was excellent, and the staff were pleasant and efficient. Given the quality of the food we felt that the prices were very competitive indeed. We could thoroughly recommend eating at the Queen Victoria.

A hidden gem of Llandudno! Came here by chance for some food and was not dissapointed. High quality food in a lovely old pub. Was even impressed by how well the pedigree on cask had been kept.

Came here on a sunday when on holiday in Llandudno in mid August. Gf had sunday roast, i had fish & chip's & we shared a dessert (chocolate brownie & ice cream) all was delicious & great. Staff was super friendly, nice too👍.

Visited on midweek lunch so it was fairly quiet, but we were made very welcome by the staff, including bringing water & treats for the dogs. The food was decent for a pub and service was prompt. Will call again.

Me and my family come to the pub for food and the service was outstanding and the food to top it off was amazing. Pork belly best one I have ever had. Great way to end our holiday in Wales. Will be back again soon.

This was a lovely place to grab some lunch. Empty when we arrived at 12:10 but really busy when we left. The bar maid couldn't have been more helpful and despite seeming to be a Marston's pub the ale they had was well kept.

We would not hesitate to recommend The Queen Victoria. A fabulous traditional pub but the food isn't typical pub fayre. Went on a Sunday early evening and were met by friendly staff and attentive service. We ordered steak which was beautifully cooked and pork belly which was amazing. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, lovely food and friendly staff you won't be disappointed.

A lovely traditional pub and very welcoming.. The drinks and meals were lovely and we enjoyed them.The prices weren't excessive for today's climate.. would certainly return next time we're in the area

Was lovely food and was well worth it, abit pricey tbh but worth it but still couldn't get the price out of my head , felt they could reduce it tbh or do a meals deal, place could do with a good make over but plesent place
