Absolutely beautiful food steak cooked to perfection home made chips onion rings the size of a flying saucer they were amazing beautiful burger really big portions couldn't fault anything prices really good too we will definitely return

Friendly staff , we had steak it was cooked to perfection. The whole meal was tasty, well presented and great portion size. I can honestly say it is the best food I have ever had in a pub in Llandudno and trust me we come to Llandudno a lot . Highly recommend

Nipped in for lunch with my two dogs. Traditional pub. Friendly staff. Good menu. Reasonable prices. Food was fresh, tasty, piping hot. Portions were plentiful and I struggled to eat all. I would recommend and I shall be back.

After reading the reviews I thought I'd give this place a try. Must say I'm very disappointed! Fish was soggy as hell and the rest of the food at our table was bland and just a bit 'meh' I'm told. Won't be back! Waste of our money.

Best Sunday nut roast I have ever had coupled with attentive and friendly bar staff made for a lovely couple of hours , with the bonus of a live non intrusive folk music band. Five stars all round

Absolutely at fantastic place We had the fish and chips and it was delicious best by far... the service is fantastic and the staff are so helpful and friendly. This will be a definite return for are future trips to Llandudno.

We visited the Queen Victoria last night what we had was ok pie and pizza we went there because of the gread menu shown online we both decided we would have a couple of starter's and the ribbs When we arrived the menu we were given was totally different and very limited I'm not complaining but totally baffled on the different menu's

Food ABSOLUTE Quality. Fairly priced. Staff excellent. Cheese burger so juicy and tasty , roast dinner amazing can tell Quality Ingredients have been used.

Really friendly gaffer took over recently and he has made a fantastic improvement. Definitely worth a visit.

Second visit tried the burgers this time and they are amazing, Saw the chef who was really friendly guy and was able to tell him! Landlord also asked if all was ok, our server was lovely and looked after us so well, great service again, looking forward to another visit

We had an evening meal on Saturday evening, we loved it so much we visited again Sunday evening. The Food was gorgeous and good value for money. Absolutely divine!! We ordered a few starters to try, each one was soooo lovely! The creamy mushrooms were melt in the mouth tasty!! The Camembert was cooked to perfection, salt and pepper chips…best we’ve ever ordered! The steak was very flavourful!! We were served by Millie and James, their service was polite friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a pleasant visit! We will defiantly be returning.

It was a lovely place food was lovely presented freshly made and tasty . The 3 meals served to the table all looked nice the pie and hunters chicken.

Not just dog-friendly, but fully welcoming, so we ate here several times during this stay. I mentioned, when I booked for this evening, that it’s our anniversary. We were treated like royalty and all the staff, including the kitchen, made sure we had a lovely time and a great night. The atmosphere in the pub is really good too. On our way out, even customers wished us “Happy Anniversary”. What a delight!

A superb meal...2 chilli, one tuna and one hunter's chicken. I can't praise the place, the food or the staff high enough. Very, very highly recommended.

Lovely meal, double cheese burger with fries, absolutely amazing, and nice friendly helpful staff especially Abi who worked running the bar and serving the food.

We were staying in Llandudno with our dog and stumbled upon the vic. We sat down and ordered our food. Very old de world de, but never the less the food was outstanding. I ordered a chilli con carne and my partner fish and chips. The chilli was presented nicely with nachos and melted cheese and was rather a big portion. My partners fish was cooked to perfection and flaked when he cut into it. The price was very reasonable for the size of the portions, and I shall definitely list the vic again when in Llandudno

A proper pub with good pub food and hand pulled bitter. Had a great fish and chips here. Only problem was our table was next to a radiator which was on max. Easily solved as we moved to another table. Staff V friendly. Prices reasonable.

A group of us stopped for a few drinks. Great selection of beers on tap. Friendly service. And a nice location. We didn’t try the food, but what we saw looked very nice.

Had a lovely meal at this very friendly place and would recommend to anyone wanting a reasonably priced bit of food to give it a try

I liked the pub and the service. We had a G&T to start and after we ordered 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 ales. The price was top for a pub and the food in general was good, but the scampi was really disappointing. Where I come from, scampi are real prawns, but here are small fish fingers. They were supposed to come with home made tartar sauce, and there wasn't any on the plate. I went inside to check with the tender if my plate was scampi, as I would have expected this to be called fish fingers, and he said yeah it is a mic of fish breaded.

Real Welsh Pub where you can eat and drink lots of delicious food. Very cozy and atmospheric. Dogs are allowed inside and also receive a treat. Very extensive drinks menu, alcoholic or not.

Called in for a meal 11th July 2024. Such excellent service. Beer brought to table once it had settled. Food arrived quickly and was excellent. Friendly staff and good prices. Will go again on next visit to Llandudno.

They do a Lovely Sunday roast 😋

Nice enough decor and pleasant woman took our order for a pint of well kept IPA and a ginger beer. Then ordered fish and chips plus scampi and chips. I knew the prices on the menu were top end of pub food but thought the food would be especially good. A moderate sized piece of fish arrived with some very soggy chips. The scampi quantity was below average and again with soggy chips. We decided to just eat as we didn’t want to wait for more chips to be made and it was the end of an awful days weather on the first day of three in the town. The food and drinks were £41.00 which I thought was excessive really and when the barman asked was everything okay I said I was disappointed. He asked why and I said the chips were soggy and quantity poor. The response was “Oh” and off he scurried. Edit to original post. I appreciate your measured response to my comments. As I put in the post I was expecting something a bit special for £41 for two bar meals and two drinks and that as we had a schedule for the evening I didn’t want to delay the meal by complaining and having the kitchen staff remake the food especially as the pub seemed to be understaffed. Thanks again for your response.

Lovely friendly pub in Llandudno. Didn't eat there but the food looked really good. Would recommend a visit if visiting Llandudno.

Only had a drink, the staff were a credit to the establishment, the beers were excellent.

What’s gone wrong? We visited a year ago and I left a huge 5* however now it’s overpriced mediocre food. £13 for a jacket potato and £12 for a sandwich- if you charge that at least serve a decent portion! What a shame 😢

Rang up today to find out what time e kitchen closed and advised it was 8pm. I was travelling at 6pm and only wanted a starter so Callum was very helpful and explained the choices. I immediately said I would be there hearing they had Mushroom and Stilton soup. It was absolutely fantastic. Other guy at the bar was great too. Will definitely be back to try mains next time, thank you.

Nice atmosphere - plenty of seating out the front and inside. Darts board available. Nice food selection which looked good. Friendly staff, albeit having to deal with a drunk underage lad.

Staff were lovely and accomodating to us and our dog, bringing him water when we sat down and offering to sort out drinks when seeing us about to get up to order more

We popped in for a drink and was met with such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere we stayed for a few hours. We really enjoyed our drinks and chat with the bar staff and some locals. Great selection of drinks, reasonably priced for the location. A lovely sun terrace at the front. We didn't eat ourselves but the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We would visit again without a doubt. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

A welcoming, dog friendly pub. The food was excellent. Very tasty & decent portions. My dining companion raved about the pie that she had. My burger was well worth the price. A good selection of ales as well as your standard drinks. The pooch was provided with water and treats. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Back again at the vic and just as good as always no vegans with us this time but there was several vegan options on the menu and not just token gestures but meals well worth considering even for a non vegan all meals reasonably priced, big portions and tasty as always the staff are wonderful

Lovely pub, delicious food, highly recommend.

Service and food were very good. Dogs were allowed in the pub & restaurant which was good as we didn't want to leave ours in the car. It was fairly quiet inside due to weather conditions.

Lovely staff and very friendly atmosphere would highly reccommend, James is a lovely memeber of staff and looked after us well the 3 nights we were staying in the area.

Lovely restaurant. The roast pork belly was really good and the garlic bread hits hard ( I love it ).The staff is very nice as well.

What a lovely old worldly pub. Exactly how they used to be, excellent don't change the look of it. A few tap beers and a descent selection of real ales. Music being piped through which were oldy Goldy tunes, I enjoyed. Descently decorated and the staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Place was clean and tidy. Enjoyed my visit.

Spent many many happy moments and time's in the best pub in Llandudno. A really lovely and friendly pub that you will most definitely enjoy. I am so happy the pub is still there as l used to have a few beers with my friends all the way back in the early 90's ( 30 + years ago ) as at the time I was Duty Manager at the St.George's Hotel. I lived in the Hotel as I'm from Edinburgh and l still talk so very highly of the Queen Vic and the happy memories that will remain with me forever. I always tell family and friends if they are ever in North Wales that they must pay you a visit. A charming happy pub enjoyed a good beer many a time. I was at the St.George 1990 - 1996. Very nice Sunday lunch. Loved the crispy parsnip topping and cauliflower cheese. Thank you. Only one thing. Meat juice in the gravy would have made it tastier. Will be back :)

Came for evening dinner tonight, although I had a slight problem with the steak pie being cool this was rectified immediately with a sincere apology from two staff. I asked to just have the pie heated but no I was given a full fresh meal. Hubby had the burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. My sincere thanks. We come to the pub every time we are here on a break and praise all staff for a warm welcome. Thank you we will be back and recommend the pub.
