What a lovely old traditional pub. Definitely a pub to pop in to on a sunny day for the lovely garden or to listen to the locals chatting over a pint of ale. Great atmosphere and great to see traditional pub food being served and not the ridiculously expensive posh nosh!! The home made steak and ale pie is one of the best I've ever had. Plenty of meaty gravy, large tender junks of steak, topped with gorgeous short crust pasty and served with plenty of chips to mop up that gravy. Highly recommended and non of this gastro nonsense in sight, how you want an old county pub to be, with wholesome, homemade food and descent drinks that you don't need to remortgage your house to pay for!!

We arrived at the plough before it opened, it was very cold inside. The food was excellent, and the service was okay. I had a lime cordial, which cost me £1.95 for half a pint, I don't go out much but paid 50 p for a pint of cordial at a local pub the week before, so thought this was very expensive.

What an absolute delight to visit this village pub.. Stunning back gardens with comfortable seating and excellent service from a meadows landlady and lovely landlord. I've not been in the pub for many a year but will definitely return shortly. A shining example of first class customer service. 5 🌟 rating.

Nice place set in the countryside, be careful when planning the journey as there are 2 plough Inns in the same area. Meal was nice, its a very busy restaurant.

Absoloutley gorgeous pub, we love coming to the Plough Inn, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We come as a family, my children love it, the garden is beautiful. There is a pool table which is always a bonus! Dogs are welcome too! Beautiful village pub with wonderful atmosphere! Would 100% recommend.

Sound food, perfectly cooked and good value for money. My order was slightly wrong but it didn't matter, I enjoyed it just as much! Excellence pint. Lovely garden and seating area. Parking on the street is unusual but the pub is definitely worth a visit. We will certainly be back again.

Lovely country pub. The menu serves the usual pub grub but the quality and value is fantastic. I had the steak baguette and it was lovely (not chewy which can often be the case). Fish and chips were gorgeous, fish cooked to perfection. Really nice pub garden, dogs welcome and my daughter got a free lolly. You can’t go wrong!

Dropped in for a Friday lunch while visiting friends in the area. Very friendly welcome for us all, including my dog. Extensive menu, very fairly priced. I particularly enjoyed the lasagna with chunky chips. All 8 different meals were quickly prepared and delivered to the table. No one was disappointed with their food. Would definitely return if we were local.

Large, filling portion sizes of great pub food. An atmosphere which might previously be considered 'cosy' can be stifling due to poor ventilation if the weather doesn't encourage sitting outside.
