Frangos in Rushcliffe

Portuguese restaurant near the River Trent and Nottingham Forest stadium. We ate two very good chicken dishes. The staff were friendly and very nice and friendly. Advised

Been to frandos this evening with the family, such good honest grilled chicken, think nandos but without chickens that were on hunger strike before the fateful day. We had the platter for 6 as a table for 3 (yes I’m a gluten and I was pre-warned that it would be a lot of food) it was beautiful freshly cooked chicken and we loved every bit (see photos). Kim was a credit to the business and looked after us for the whole sitting, thank you. All jokes aside if your kids force you to take them nandos regular but you want the real peri peri experience try here.

One of the best dining experiences I've had. As I live in Portugal I was excited to take my family there and introduce them to some Portuguese food...And Frangos exceeded expectations at every turn. Kim, our waitress, was delightful, courteous and genuinly friendly, and the food was as hot and fresh as it comes, all prepared to an exceptionally high and authentic standard. 10/10, will definitely come again the next time I'm over from Portugal.

Forget Nando's! If I need to take friends for proper food, Portuguese style, I will take them to Frango's! The food is unbelievable, the service amazing! Best place to have chicken!

Avoid at all costs. Chicken sent instead of veggie burger, when we called to explain the manager refused to accept any mistake, saying he had sent veggie. If that was the case, I would be happily eating it. Refused to do anything about it. Advised to seek refund through deliveroo. But they haven’t confirmed delivery on deliveroo, so no way to complain as it deliveroo doesn’t allow you to seek refund until It’s been delivered. Edit since reply- there was certainly no shouting. The poor lady on the phone totally understood where we were coming from but the chef/manager kept saying he had sent the veggie burger. As I said, if that had been the case, we wouldn’t have been calling to complain! It’s a shame as we had enjoyed food from there before.

We first visited this place, a couple of months ago and we loved the food, ambiance n most importantly the friendly staff! We visited again last month with kids (8 & 3 YO) and they loved this place & food! Their kids meals are absolute package n they keep the kids occupied right after settling down, with a box full of mini toys n colouring essentials 😂 So we visited again last night and they had the 9£ kids meal for free 😳 Summer holiday special it seems! I never gave reviews but this one deserves for all the lovely food n gesture they got! ❤️ Food is of massive quantity n tastes really good. Must try if you are around!

Seen this place loads of times when walking past and was curious so looked it up and saw it had lots of good reviews so decided to give it a go, was not disappointed. Lovely food, huge portions and the lady who looked after us was just so nice, had a great night and will definitely be going back soon.

Visited this restaurant for the first time before a Forest game with my dad and kids. I don't normally write reviews but then every so often a place comes along that demands it. The service was first class and we were given the option to mix and match the sauces. We shared a 4 person sharing platter. The amount of food was plentiful and the sides were particularly yummy especially mac and cheese. They were only too happy to box our food to take home. Superb value for money. None of us could fault it and we will be back soon.

I went here on March 14th for a birthday meal and the waitress was so lovely! Great service and such nice food! The dessert was amazing too!

We had a fabulous meal out with family. The owners were attentive, which made our time special. The food was excellent! All home made. The flavours used were exquisite. Best restaurant food for years!

Absolutely fantastic. Visited with friends and family (4 adults and 5 children). The food was delicious - far superior to better known chicken restaurants!! The portions were huge. But the real icing on the cake was the service. Attentive without being intrusive, genuinely considerate and the toys for the children were a lovely touch. Thank you for a lovely evening. Frangos is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning!?

A fantastic restaurant, quality and service second to none. Just had our Christmas party at frangos, great food great cocktails Nottinghams number one grilled chicken restaurant.

Visited Nottingham for football but found this place after the match and was blown away by the service. Great food at a great price and Kim was lovely!! Will definitely go again. Side note, I'm vegan and Kim double checked that everything was 100% okay for me to eat without me even needing to ask.

The owner is lovely and can’t do enough for every. The food is great the portions are so good for the money if you like Portuguese chicken you need to try Frango’s!

Such a great restaurant! Amazing atmosphere with a comfortable family friendly feel whilst staying modern and we'll themed. My son and I are vegetarian and it is amazing to have so many yummy choices, and the kids meal is great! Service is friendly and helpful, nice to get a personal touch not found in so many places. Also completely clean and great measures in place, felt completely safe the whole time. Could not recommend more!

We have eaten at Frangos several times since discovering this gem in WB, and we can’t fault the food or the service. The food is amazing, the portions are so generous, and the quality is 10/10 each time we go. The lovely owners are so caring and generous, and the many 5 star ratings for the restaurant are a testament to them and the pride they have in their food.

Lovely experience. The staff were ever so helpful and attentive. The food was also really tasty. I had a quarter chicken leg with a choice of two sides. Wonderful presentation of the dish as well with a cute little flag on top of the chicken. I will definitely be visiting again. 5 stars for the staff and 5 stars for the food. Also 5 stars for the background music and decor.

I don't even know where to start.. Excellent food, best grilled chicken in town, and yes, million times better than Nandos! Massive portions would feed even the most hungry person. 5 star service, it's hard to find such a friendly staff. Keep it up ladies! Will come back!

Frangos chicken grill is amazing! Prepare to be greeted by the kindness, friendliest staff. They make you feel extremely welcomed. Their chicken is grilled to perfection and they have the best mac n cheese 😍! #obsessed

Lovely family run restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT FOOD! They are all very welcoming and attentive. My mate is a veggie and had many options to choose from, and as a meat eater I WAS SPOILT! So many delicious options. I went for the chicken wings and they are humongous.. I normally go for Hooters all you can eat wings but 10 of Frango's wings equates to probably 25-30 Hooters wings, falls off the bone perfectly! Accompanying that with 4 huge and delicious sides! All for £20! Great deal! Couldn't recommend this place enough and will be back very soon!
