I've been coming to The Pickled Olive for a few years and they never disappoint. Service is always on point, the cocktails never disappoint and it's the best cocktail and beer bar you'll find this side of Liverpool. The cocktail menu is innovative and changes throughout the year and they have lots of choice of beers, and even bar snacks. Entertainment is a plenty and the New Year Eve party is not to be missed. A real gem.

Went for drinks but no clear non alcoholic options, none on the menu. My mum was then questioned by the bartender as to why she didn’t want an alcoholic drink and was made to feel like she had to explain herself - the reasons being health related and the fact she was driving. Really disappointing. Nice experience otherwise and nice venue though won’t be going again!

One of the best bars in Woolton Village. Still gets very busy even with all the extra space and seating, but well worth it. Staff are friendly and never keep you waiting long to be served, even on a Saturday!

Came for drinks before a meal. The wine by the class was really nice and my husband enjoyed the two cocktails he had. Nice atmosphere

Met with friends following the new extension and refurb and we had a lovely time catching up with each other while listening to and watching the bar below. We had a really great spot upstairs and so gorgeous with the fireplace. It was sooo busy which is fabulous and a really brilliant feel and atmosphere, and as ever amazing cocktails. Love it here and it still has the same amazing atmosphere and brilliant service for Kat, Elliot and the team.

First time visiting The Pickled Olive, lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff who where more than happy to make a cocktail not on the menu which tasted amazing . I will definitely be returning.

Best cocktail I have ever had the rat pack manhatten is to die for. Bar staff are very friendly and there knowledge of drinks is amazing. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

Returned to the Pickled after an amazing night last week. Had one of their amazing mid week offers, Cheese and Charcuterie board with a premium bottle of wine. Amazing produce sourced locally with excellent customer service and friendly faces.

Popped in here on a Saturday night and was greeted with a massive warm welcome which made us feel so at home. A great selection of drinks and super knowledgable and friendly staff, I can see us supervising many an evening here. Love!

We went to the Pickled Olive's festive brunch last Sunday and what an experience it was! Unique and delicious cocktails (as always) matched to some outstanding food. It was the perfect afternoon out... great atmosphere, great hosts, great for the taste buds.

Well we moved into the area a few months ago and this is already one of our favourite bars to go to , especially when they have music on. Such a lovely atmosphere and cocktails out of this world but dangerous so be warned if you have too many like we usually do! We booked for the Xmas Brunch this weekend which was just gorgeous , including drinks to go with every course which were perfectly matched in our opinion. The food was amazing and we enjoyed every part of it. Cannot recommend this place enough and so happy it’s one of our locals! See you all again soon Helen & David

We’ve been to the pickled olive a few times as it’s local to me. Elliot and Kat who own the bar are amazing as are all of their staff, the quality of the drinks is top notch and the atmosphere is lovely. Tell them what your favourite spirit is and they will recommend a drink for you and it never disappoints. Definitely call in and see them.

Service here is amazing. Staff couldn't be more attentive. Lovely cosy atmosphere too.

I have been lucky enough to go to many of the top cocktail bars in the world and astonishingly this is a bar that is up there with some of the best places I have had the pleasure to fall out of. I could wax lyrical about the menu or the nostalgia of drinking in a venue which was a sweet shop on my walk home from school when I was 10 years old, but the simple truth is that every drink we ordered here was original and perfectly balanced. If this was New York or London it would be growing a deserved following but it’s in Woolton. WOOLTON. It’s genuinely incredible. Give it your love. It’s worth it.

Staff are great in here, individual care & attention they give to their customers. Top brands serviced & cocktails look fabulous if you are a cocktail drinker. Different events on through the year, music on a Sunday evening. It really is the jewel in the crown of Woolton village.

This is a lovely bar situated in Woolton Village. It has a relaxed and friendly vibe and the staff are lovely! We came with friends on Tuesday evening and we all agreed we would definitely be coming back. It is quite small but that adds to the cosiness. Great selection of wines, bottled & canned beers. A little gem of a find.

Got to be my favourite place for a drink lately

We were having a fabulous time here, atmosphere great. Unfortunately I had a fall when I was trying to negotiate one of the tall chairs 😢. Everyone was lovely, from the owners to the people just having a drink. They were genuinely concerned and did everything possible to check I was OK. One of the customers was a nurse and she was wonderful. Can't express how grateful I am. X

Loved the atmosphere able to talk with my friends told the history about drink lovely staff! Even got a history lesson about Eavesdropping love it even if it was for cheeky little drink. PLACE TO GO!

This is such a lovely, quaint and cosy bar. Had some tasty mulled cider and a gorgeous cocktail. Bar staff very friendly! I love the kind of bar where you can sit and talk to the staff and this is one of those places. Will be back!

This place has a relaxed, cosy atmosphere and the guys behind the bar are really welcoming. There’s plenty of choice when it comes to drinks - an extensive cocktails list and they’ll make anything you like as long as they have the ingredients. It’s quite a small place, so would struggle if you’re in a big group, but I’m sure they would do everything they can to fit you in. Would recommend the Picked Olive for a few drinks before a night out, or to just sit and relax with great company.

Went here yesterday had the Mary Berry cocktail which was delicious. Clientele are excellent with the exception of a local who likes to get involved in everyone's conversations bar staff fantastic very welcoming. This was my first visit and I am looking forward to returning very soon

My favourite bar. Elliott and Kat have created an intimate bar that does outstanding cocktails with fantastic service. And, in the right day, Pickles the dachshund will be there too. This place is a huge benefit to Woolton Village.

This small but sophisticated bar is a little gem. The staff were welcoming and clearly very knowledgable, particularly in respect of their cocktails. A step up from the crowds in the Elephant. Will visit again

Came here on a Friday night, Gin menu was great, really enjoyed trying the different ones. Seating area upstairs but the couches are so uncomfortable. To high to put your feet on the floor, too narrow to sit on properly so sitting on a slant, this did ruin the experience. Comfier couches and some nice candles on tables would make this much better place to have a relaxing drink. Service was good considering I was upstairs in the corner and it was busy. Would come again but would get a drink at the bar instead.

A great addition to woolton village. This bar wouldn’t be out of place in shoredicth, great cocktails and staff. You need to get there early enough to grab a table as there is table service

I've been here a few times now and had part of my hen do in the upstairs room. The drinks are delicious and the staff are really friendly. Great vibe here.

Fab cocktail bar short walk from home what could be better?

Cute little cocktail joint just over the road from The Elephant. A great new addition to Woolton in my opinion. Very helpful staff who can advise you on what cocktail you might like. Pretty rugged looking in interior design with a few seats including a very small mezzanine level.

I came with quite a large group of family for an 18th celebration & the staff where really lovely / attentive and made us feel very welcome ! Two of the cocktails where made at the table with some help from the birthday girl which was a really nice touch ! Average price is around £8 which isn't overly expensive but ingredients are good quality ! Cannot recommend the Rose Martini enough - absolutely gorgeous !

Small intermate place, bar down stairs and small seating area upstairs. Not a huge selections of drinks but every thing you need. Great cocktails, don't just order off the menu ask for what you want they know their stuff. Makes a pleasent change from loud noisy bars. We will defiantly go back.

Used to be a sun bed shop, they have done a great job of renovating it into a small bar. Has an upstairs Mezzanine too, great little addition to the village

I visited on a quiet weeknight with a friend for a bottle of wine and a catch up. The staff were very friendly and attentive and there was a good choice of reasonably priced wine. It's a quirky little place (in a good way!) and great atmosphere. We sat upstairs and didn't need to move again as the bar staff circled and were on hand to bring the second bottle up to us which was a great touch. It's a fab addition to Woolton and we will definitely be back, and will try the cocktails next time. Well worth a visit.

My Daughter took me for pre meal drinks for Mother's Day. A new addition to Woolton Village serving a variety of drinks. The atmosphere was welcoming and beautifully designed. The staff were friendly and attentive even though it was a busy day. The choice of drinks was too difficult to choose from as there was such a good choice. The staff listened to every detail we wanted and recommended the ideal cocktails for us. The cocktails were delicious and presentation perfect. We finished with prosecco, which was divine and in fabulous glasses, chilled with raspberry's in.

We noticed this small bar after visiting the Elephant opposite. Set in an excellent location within the vasinity of the other bars and restaurants in Woolton village.

This is a perfect little bar which we visited the day after the grand national! Really cost and perfect in the afternoon to sit with your other half having a natter and letting the world go by!

New bar in Skipton very small but nice and quiet and the cocktails were lovely.The only problem is getting to the bar there's charge along the bar which obstructs the bar hence making it difficult to be served

Was looking forward to trying this place and wasn't disappointed. No optics all free pour spirits, good selection of gin and vodka. Friendly staff and soft drinks from ice cold cans. Busy but we still got a seat. Got the impression it is still in the process of decoration especially the toilets and bar area. Some tealights on the tables would create a little bit of atmosphere. All in all great little bar and addition to the village, we'll be back.

You really need to try this place, the location is perfect, right opposite the elephant, the cocktails are amazing, for me though it's the atmosphere, you really need to try this place!
