A great kebab takeaway. The Pharaoh has been established here for decades. It reliably serves good quality, tasty food. I love their steak kebab, and special spicy kebab sauce. Chips here are also excellent.

Tastes delicious and very healthy & not heavy like other kebabs. Bit pricey but worth it

Been eating here for years, my only grumble is that the chips in the kebab on chip are not great even when you eat it immediately after buying 🤷. Onion rings are epic though. Friendly staff.

My order was not delivered then closed when rang to see were it was. Please refund my money to my account

Another one with no card payment. When the council will start to control the "cash only payments" chip shops which for obvious reasons do not accept cards.

Food did not arrive, was meant to arrive between 8.10 to 8.30. They shifted the time to 8.50 and that was the end of it. I will be charging this back, this is a disgrace.

A large kebab ??? Went downhill on portion sizes and quality off food . Poor

Went to the pharaoh for the first time on Saturday evening , walked into the place with the wife and it’s spotless , the guy taking order was so professional and pleasant to speak to, he told us that we had ordered the biggest kebab they do and I will tell you this , it was the BEST kebab in nan bread I have ever eating in my life , I don’t think I would ever eat one from any other place I have ever got from in the past, I was able to see other food he was serving from other customers and it all looked great.. it’s safe to say I will be back even though we travelled from Ballysillan to this place and it was worth it, they say you get what you pay for and I didn’t mind paying that little bit extra, well done to all the guys & girls at The Pharaoh..

Ordered a kebab which on the photo showed that is came with chips payed £14 for a pita absolutely shocking overpriced for what you get.

Sorry but honestly don’t get the hype of this place , called tonight for the first time. Mixed kebab & chip sauce and 2 cokes just over £25 and the portions were so small , the meat was nice enough but the nann came out of a packet,the chips were all ends and rock hard sorry but it’s the first and last for me.

Food was good and warm. I have been disappointed in the past but tonight’s was lovely.

Food was ordered at 7.12pm estimated delivery 20.20-20.40 which was revised to 21.05. At 22.00 food still hasn’t arrived and unable to get through to the restaurant. Very disappointed.

Couldn't fault in any way, from the food (Kebabs) which are perfect, to the lovely girl on the phone, the Chefs and the delivery driver/s. Best Kebabs easily in Belfast!

First came here over 30 years ago and quality of food hasn't changed a bit Visited today and gotta say,would recommend this place every day...spotlessly clean and great servive,this guy knows what his customers want.Mixed kebab on chips (talked into going large)and steak kebab on rice with sauce both absolutely beaut....give this place a go,you won't be disappointed

Foods great if you don’t mind waiting 2 hours and having the restaurant hang up on you when you call to ask why it’s already showing as delivered when it’s not.

Tasty but for nearly 9 quid I’d want some meat. There wasn’t much meat, mostly rice. Went on back of a pal’s recommendation and honestly if I’d got a portion in the photos idve been happy. But it was all sauce mushy and rice. Very disappointing

Hate to leave a bad review as this place used to be one of my favourites but the kebab sauce has changed, there was barely any sauce on the kebab but what sauce that was there was bland and horrible, meat was fine but the chips were hard, the burger came cold and with sauce that I didn’t ask for, the meat in the burger was tough and the bap was awful, not the cheapest of places either, most of it went in the bin

First time ordering from here because my daughter and I fancied a chippy and I’m so glad I picked here. Super fast delivery!! Food was hot and absolutely delicious. Chips were perfect and the fish was beautiful. Thank you so much for a long awesome dinner!. Definitely will be ordering from here again.

absolutely revolting and terrible small servings for the price you pay for a mixed kebab on chips. I think I counted two bits of chicken and the chips were horrible. They tasted like they were heated up and soggy, I binned the lot and ordered of my local kebab shop in Newtownabbey. maybe I just got bad service as I looked at reviews and it looked great. I ended up pay over £40 last night because of this terrible food. Probably a waste of time adding this as they don’t care anyway.

Delivered early. Food arrived hot. Really tasty. Would highly recommend the kebabs and will definitely be resting from here again 👍

I have ordered from here for over 25 years. The owner was a true gent and the food was fantastic. That was then, now the owner is not there and his kids are running it obviously because he would never have allowed the food portion size to be that small. 4 steak kebabs in,pitta and three chips was my order which cost over 60 quid and honestly I thought by the size of the bag I received that they had forgotten to include things but it was all there only tiny. The pitta bread which used to be loaded with meat and slaw were the size of the pitta bread in thickness! The chip portions were terrible. I was trying to feed four adults with this order and I had to go to McDonald’s after it! That’s how bad it was! Shame on whoever is running it because if this is the norm then he is gonna run the business into the ground!

Been a while since we called here and I must say it was as delicious as I remember. Staff were still there always a good sign and they insisted my friend over for a holiday had to try their kebab meat and sauce. Needless to say she loved it. She said in and around London they use reconstituted meat for the kebabs and the difference was huge. She left with a huge smile and was stuffed when we finished our food.

enjoyed the food. it would have been nicer if the pasty had been crispy.

Yummy food with quality but less quantity for price compared to others kebab shops in and around belfast.

Food is nice but the prices have went through the roof. 6.40 for a chip seriously. Then 6.40 for a burger.

8.50 for 3 soggy chicken gougons that were swimming in grease. batter on the fish was also very soggy and greasy. never again

I was in here today with my daughter at around 3.20pm I have been going here for years I can honestly say that this is the worst food I have ever had the burger was cooked that much it was very dry. The chips were like wee quarters of chips and looked as if they had been fried two or three times to be reheated. They were terrible and as hard as iron. £15.20 you would be better going somewhere else I don't mind paying when I know am getting something decent. But the curry was sitting floating on the curry. Who ever served it never stirred it I won't be back.

Was left at door after one knock and 19 seconds - no ring of the bell. Discovered 35mins later and was cold. Delivery time would have been well ahead if had known.

Food tasted excellent. Only negative was portion size for a large kebab definitely on the small side.

It was just dumped on our doorstep. Nobody knocked on the door, or phoned us. The whole order was frozen cold.

Their special pharaoh burger is a must try. Oh boy. This has gone down hill. Portions are small for expensive prices either reduce the cost or upgrade the quality of food. £7 for a chips and sauce. Chicken goujons you only get two and they had both soggy and burnt and a portion of chips.

While it was on time, the portion sizes are really small. Only two goujons? They were both soggy and burnt. And enough chips for a kids meal at adults prices. I think that will be the last time I order from here.

Really poor portion size of kebab at very high prices. Extra portion of chips that were burnt recooked and tasteless . Save your money. Won’t be back .

Food arrived cold and inedible.

The food was nice but the portion sizes are laughable, the large is the size of a at best a medium any other place ive ordered from, if your hungry avoid!!!

Delivery time was good and nice the packaging was more environmentally friendly than most (paper bags etc). The food was disappointing however. The chips were stone cold and although I ordered a large chicken kebab and paid nearly £13 for one, the portion size was tiny… so not convinced I even got the right one??? Sorry but don’t think I’ll be back

Awful food . Chicken burger was rock hard and burnt on outside but not properly cooked on inside . Everything was cold . Had to microwave the chips . Over cooked breast of chicken as well

I am a big fan of the pharaoh and order often but I was disappointed tonight as my food was cold.

Food was early and great flavour but disappointed with the portion size, looked like two kids meals (had ordered two mixed kebabs on chips). I expected it to come in a normal take away polystyrene box not a small rice container. I’ve never had to order a large portion from a take away before.

They have changed the fish, it smells and tastes cheap like Tilapia. Wont be back. Used to be great

Food was cold. The cheese on kebab tasted sour. And garlic sauce was tasteless. All I could taste was sour cheese on the kebab. Will not be ordering from here again.

It was cold. They fish was fried soooo dry that there was hardly any fish in it could not eat it was terrible. I asked for a coleslaw dip but got another kebab dip. The kebab was not great either and cold

Chips really not good strange texture like a boiled chip and chewy at the ends curry sauce was ok for what there was of it portions very small and extortionate price's wouldn't recommend

Got a bit expensive recently, but they are the best kebabs in Belfast by a mile.

Chicken in kebab was strangely chewy. Steak meat and sauce was good though.

You know the tinfoil container that a potion of rice comes in, that's what a £9 kebab and chip portion was served in. Absolute joke.

The food is amazing flavour! But portions and price need to be reviewed like I ordered large kebab and got kids size meal I brought two kebabs £20 odd quid but come on like you can’t be giving such small portions I’ll be honest I’m starving that’s starter!

Chicken burger didn’t taste great and the bap was all soggy…not nice. Chips also cold. Took nearly 30 mins to arrive from getting the update saying it was on the way. Won’t be rushing back.

The mixed kebabs are excellent, and the staff are friendly and fun. Note... Prices are much better in person than on just eat, and they prefer cash payments.

I usually order kebab on chips whatever venue I go to. The Pharoah is one of the exceptions where the kebab in pitta is the better option. I find the portion size to be bang on and if I'm really hungry I'll order a portion of extra chips for sharing. House and chilli sauces are both excellent. Definitely my favourite kebab venue in town.

I ordered large steak kebab on chips and it was nice enough but still starving after it such a small portion for a large all inside a small foil container! Wouldn't use again portions are ridiculous

£7.50 for a portion of gougons 3 small bits of chicken that wouldn’t fill a hole in your tooth, ordered garlic mayo not in the order!! Not the 1st time this has happened. Ordered curry chip no curry left had to get gravy instead!! Phoned restaurant driver had finished for the night. Used to order from here quite regularly really has went down hill…

Hi. We order 3 steak kebabs on pitta bread. Taste of meet was not special, no salad at all, 2 very very tiny slices of tomato and wee bit onions. We taste just meet with kebab sauce witch had vinegar taste. Kebabs on pita was also very small portions so we were still hungry after these kebabs. Food was also cold. We are not fussy persons but these kebabs wasnt taste good at all. Not recommend. Shame.

Mixed kebab on chips with kebab sauce is sublime.

Terrible food. Small crunchy uninviting looking chips . Dark in colour and tasteless. Fish the same. Too much batter and not soft. Again very dark. Lots of it was inedible. Even the dog didn't like his sausage. I know chippy can be expensive and I don't mind paying the price if the food is good but this was a total waste of money and calories

For a large portion it was small. Very small could of ate two of them easily.

Chips rotten just hard ends, no coleslaw just chunks of cabbage. Never again
