A no frills local pub with friendly staff, well priced tasty food

Had sunday roast which was the best I have had in a long time....really well cooked and served hot. Would highly recommend.

We ate here last month whilst on holiday. The girl serving behind the bar and serving the food was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Seven of us ate and we all enjoyed our meals. We ordered extra things and the manager/chef was also really accommodating. Toilets were nice and clean too. We'll definitely be returning next time we are in Pembrokeshire!

Staff Very friendly food was really good. Once food was ordered, it didn't take long to get to the table. 3 of us had Chicken Tika, and 1 had hunters burger with all the trimmings. The chocolate brownie & ice cream + banoffi cheesecake & ice cream went down a storm as well. Overall, good night, we will definitely be back.

Very run down bar full of locals so we felt out of place. Stayed for one drink and left. Staff were a little unfriendly and beer didn't taste that fresh.

We called in to the pelcomb on advice from a local. The was hot and delicious. The service excellent and the locals welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Stayed at the campsite Close by was made welcome by the staff and also a local couple who made our weekend most enjoyable cheap beer quality food and great atmosphere thanks to the staff and our friends liane and andy the best dj around 😀

Spacious main bar, though getting to sit opposite my wife on an outside table was a warm-up exercise for a contortionist, though I could do with some stretching exercises. My wife was 'over the moon' with her piece of cod and I was well satisfied with my burger. Coupled with Guinness and Carling, we were well pleased.

Bought a takeaway from here, bar lady was really helpful, even suggesting that a steak would need a quick heat when we got back to the campsite. Great vegetarian food options too 👌 Very friendly and I'm sure the food will be delicious.

Attended on a cold wet night looking for food. Unfortunately due the time food wasn't available but made to feel welcome nevertheless. The owners were happy for us to order a takeaway and stay which we did. With a large screen TV playing sky sports, drinks and food I was a happy man!!

Nice pub I visited when staying in the area, pool and pints on hand, staff working there were very nice, no food on certain days just the busy ones

During our camping trip we visited on 3 occasions. Each time the service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. We ate twice - delicious food, great size portions and good value for money. Definitely recommended.

Rang ahead to book. Waitress was very helpful. But food was awful.

Good food & drink, friendly staff , the only thing was the car park, no white lines so cars are parked all over the place, but that's only my opinion, otherwise the pub is very good

I highly recommend this pub for their excellent food. We popped into this pub about 3pm, after a long journey (we were staying on the site next door), and sadly found they weren’t doing food till 5pm. We decided to have a drink, but after a few minutes we were told that we could order food early. Really kind of them. I’ve never tasted a better Cheese and Broccoli bake ! It was so good that I had it twice in the 3 days we stayed !

Delicious Sunday roast,, it's not cheap,, buy nowhere is nowadays,, with 2 pints of lager, it came to over £34 ,, but I've spent as much elsewhere and been disappointed,, so for a Delicious meal for two,I'd definitely recommend,, 😋

Myself and my wife with our 2 children 3 & 10 yrs have come to Dunston Camping site for a weeks holiday, this is our first day and thought we'd come here for our evening meal, it was amazing we would absolutely recommend, the food is first class fresh hot tasty the atmosphere is great, the whole experience was brilliant

Was here for Sunday lunch, the Sunday roast was superb good choice of meat and side order of veg and gravy and extra veg if you require. Also a good selection of deserts. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend a visit.

Went for Sunday lunch and frankly, it was gorgeous! Perfect roasties, roast parsnip, and carrot and a selection of veg on the side. The pork was cooked to perfection, and plenty of it too. Certainly filled me up for a while. Definitely will be going back.

For a hearty, tasty Sunday pub lunch choose the Pelcomb Inn.. proper meat & gravy, plenty of roasts, more than we could eat & that’s saying something. Great service, friendly atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back.

Good roadside stop off between Tenby and St David's

Nice table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the sun with a pint. Very close to the busy road so the noise from constant stream of cars is a shame.

We came to have some food before heading to the beach. The staff were welcoming... well, the 1 member of staff that we saw. She was great. The food however, was nice and I'd eat there again, but, wasn't what the menus say it's going to be. The burger was supposed to be a big burger with brioche buns, they were standard buns and I had 2 (from what I can tell) microeavable burgers that looked like they came out a tin. Luckily I actually love tinned burgers, so I ate it. It was nice, but I was looking forward to a fat juicy burger in a brioche bun. The kids spaghetti looked nice, but kids can be fussy and It looked un agitating for her (she is also fussy), maybe less or no tomato bits. It seems that they had a food shortage or messed up a food delivery or never changed the menu. Other than that, the place was nice. Loads of room.

We were camping at Newgale and visited here as it’s only 10 minutes up the road. Really friendly staff and food was delicious, especially the steak and ale pie. Would definitely return on our next visit and highly recommend a visit

Love that it's dog friendly and food was nice. Not much on the menu though but that might be due to covid. Took far too long to get someone's attention to pay for our meal. We were waiting around for a while which made our 2 year olds bedtime late. Loads of flies around us eating inside, not the pubs fault but it added to the frustration of waiting. Also sat by one of the doors and there was a que of people standing next to us whilst eating which was annoying.

The outside if this pub actually put me off a bit don't know why, I wasn't expecting much But you know what they say ,never judge a book by its cover, once inside its modern very friendly, with helpful staff and the food was delicious. Don't pass this little pub without popping in, it's worth a stop. Will definitely call in again if in the area.

My grandaughters and I had been to Tenby and decided to get our lunch somewhere away from the town because it was so busy. We began our journey back to St David's and on the way saw the Pelcomb Inn so called in. Oh,my goodness,how glad we were that we did. The lady behind the bar was a delight. She brought us the drinks we'd ordered and the menus. Starters were lovely.Our main course of Beer battered fish and fabulous chips were a delight.I swear the fish must have been swimming that very morning! The puddings were delicious.A most enjoyable occasion.Thankyou

Superb food and a great welcome. A large group of us were camping nearby so our minibus driver booked us in. They'd reserved 4 tables as there were 24 of us. Food was lovely and the table service for drinks was excellent. Highly recommended and would definitely return when I'm next in the area.

Arrived expecting average pub food, however it was in fact outstanding. All meals were high quality cooked to perfection, steak was rare as ordered and portions were generous. The dessert also surpassed expectations. Highly recommended.

Great food & well presented albeit from a small menu choice. V quick service from friendly staff.

A bit too noisey for me personally. Food was OK and served quickly and neatly. Down side is that the vinegar and condiments were in packets, so if you struggle with opening them, your screwed, just considering the elderly, and those that have other conditions. Service was ok. Toilets were clean. Staff were friendly and chatty. Chairs rock hard to sit on, if you suffer from bck problems. Tables look rough and untidy, in the way as old and tired looking. Restaurant looks a bit dated but does the job. Will go back when it isn't tourist season.

The pub is quite unassuming so our first impression wasn’t great but we were led through to the ‘restaurant’ and found a table. The restaurant was pleasant enough and the food really very tasty. It’s amazing how often pubs serve you an over cooked steak but the sirloin was cooked beautifully. Good size portions all round made for a happy family. They are taking part in the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme to which made the meal extremely good value!

The steak was amazing, the gamon was also great and the lasagna was a cheese overload. Massive portion sizes and great value for money!

Great little pub. Stopped on our way home from down West. All precautions in place there due to covid. Staff really pleasant, food menu varied enough in the current circumstances and really good quality and plentiful. Recommended if your looking for something to eat/drink in that area.
