The Pavilion Cafe in Barnsley

We visited on a lovely sunny morning before the temperature rose too high. After a walk from Cawthorne my dog and I needed some refreshments before walking back. I ordered a teacake, latte, cold drink & 2 sausage & black pud for my dog. The lady behind the counter was very cheerful, friendly and welcoming. We sat outside, which had parasols up, to protect against the sun. (There is seating inside as well if preferred) The cushioned bench seats were also a welcome addition and gave the whole place an added comforting touch. The food came fast and was really good. My dog loved her sausages and black pud and I've promised she can go back for more another time. The price was really good for the quality, previously we have used other cafes on site but I think we may stay to The Pavilion now as its much better value for money and the staff are lovely. The toilet facilities are also great if you're an individual flying solo with a dog, I was able to take her in with me (I wouldn't have left her outside) and make sure she was safe, something you can't do at all premises that offer toilet facilities. It makes a different when you're on your own. We definitely will be coming back again, very peaceful and great food!

Very busy today with special event at Cannon Hall Farm but service was still quite quick and the bacon & mushroom butty was delicious!! Lots of other hot & cold sandwiches available plus a good selection of cakes & drinks. Many sat outside today with the nice weather. Always worth popping in here.

Nice cafe near car park and toilets at Cannon Hall Country Park. Easy access. Quick service. Tea reasonable price. Cake slightly expensive. Everything was fine and would probably go again BUT there was an overriding smell of drainage. Maybe cafe or council need to look at it!!

Just stopped for a coffee whilst out on the bike. Lovely, friendly staff. Good real coffee. Cakes looked amazing but I managed to refrain

Food is very nice and the staff friendly, also very attentive to people's needs .This cafe is just what you need when visiting cannon Hall.

So nice to be able to sit outside, and I would highly recommend the bacon sandwiches. Great for dog owners, water bowls provided and informal outdoor seating but there are a few tables indoors too. Toilet facilities next door.

Great little cafe and good for bikers. Toilets and free motorcycle parking area right next to the café. About 10 picnic benches outside, with 2 undercover and a small inside seating area.

A good small cafe adjacent to the main car park for visitors to Cannon Hall. The Pavilion offers hot and cold drinks and a selection of snacks such as bacon rolls and cakes. Good service and pleasant staff. There is some indoor seating but most customers choose to sit outdoors.

Took forever to get 2 bottles of water to take away

Delicious cakes, hot takeout food (bacon sandwiches and the like) and a nice selection of drinks. Friendly service from the staff and the food was brought out quickly. Plenty of picnic benches outside, some in the shade of the trees.

Lovely cuppa, sandwiches are great as are the cakes reasonably priced and friendly staff to boot what more can I say 😋

Friendly staff a better cup of coffee than up at the hall and also very dog friendly with bowls available for your 4 legged friend. Close enough to the car park to meet disabled friends for a cupper good selection of cake and sandwiches

Nice place to call for a coffee after walking Cooper my dog friendly staff good coffee and food smells beautiful but I have to save myself for Sunday lunch.

Nice cafe with seating inside and outside witha couple of tables undercover outside. We just had Tea and coffee which came to 3.95 . Bacon and Sausage sandwiches + lots of others.Pleasant staff. OK for dogs outside. Hygiene rating 5 stars. Car park is 1pound for 2 hours as cafe within grounds of Cannon Hall

wentvto get somthing to and worker just standing there talking looking so when they did come to see what i want just walk off go to cannon hall alot with kids but would never go in here again

Just had a smashing breakfast sandwich. Well worth it, the staff are lovely.
