We love this sea-side cafe. Great service, dog-friendly. The warm, freshly baked scones are amazing.

Such a fun cosy cafe that was lovely to visit in the wind and rain when everywhere else was shut. We had soup, waffles, and milkshakes and they were all lovely. The service was friendly and swift and the prices very reasonable. Brilliant find.

Me, my wife and two boys stopped here on the 22nd October, we all enjoyed an exceptional fish and chip dinner, great service and the staff couldn’t have been better. Even purchased 8 sweet treats from the counter which were delightful.

We had just finished a walk through Ayr and it was freezing so decided to drop by the Pavilion Cafe to warm up the staff there was incredible and the place was spotless. I liked the range of drinks they had on offer and we had a wonderful time here being able to warm up from the Baltic Scottish weather! I've been here for many years and one of the things I appreciated was how they managed to keep the retro-style cafe as it brought back a lot of memories. My partner who had never been to Ayr before said this was a lovely cafe and he enjoyed himself. Thank you very much for a wonderful visit and I look forward to visiting again the next time im in Scotland.

Slow service. Overpriced tasteless chips. £5.50 for a box of chips half full. £5.50 for a tub of ice cream. Rip off.

Visited couple weeks back, very dissatisfied with quality of ice cream and coffee wasn't good either. Not sure how they honor price for products but £3.95 for scoop of factory made ice cream looks like steal in my eyes.

I take a young man who has Autism and learning disabilities to the Pavilion Cafe quite regularly. The range of food is really good and the quality has always hit the mark. The staff, mostly young adults are excellent. So efficient and friendly. The friendliness is genuine not put on which helps create a very relaxed atmosphere. I will be paying a visit in the not too distant future with my 3 sisters as we meet up one a month for lunch. Keep up the great work guys.

Didn’t expect much coming here, doesn’t really give off a massive fish & chip shop vibe, more of an ice cream kind of place for the nearby playground. But dared to try it as I was craving fish and chips after a walk by the sea and saw some others eating outside. Staff were friendly and fish was cooked to order and tasty with good batter and decent chips. Seems to be cooked round the back in the kitchen unlike most chip shops. They use one of those wireless buzzer systems to tell you when your food is ready to collect. Takes card. For some reason my Monzo declined but my Tesco Bank card worked fine, came up as Pirate Pete’s on the statement so must be owned by the same people. Somewhat pricey at £11 for fish and chips and a can of Irn Bru but everything’s getting more expensive nowadays. Nice outdoor seating patio for the rare sunny day. There’s also an indoor seating bit. Recommended.

Great location, but the worst hot-dog I ever ate. Asked if we wanted onions (yes please), but arrived without onions. Just a sausage in a dry, stale bun. No mustard available, only ketchup. Not worth the money - after waiting 7 minutes at the counter for someone to appear to give my money to.
