Great modern interior, small but impressive. Had a spot of lunch with my mum, good value for money . Food was well presented tasty and modern yet with an element of Welsh culture. The Cawl was a good serving with warm crusty bread and Welsh ‘shirgar’ salty butter. The chorizo sausage roll was delicious , with a fresh side salad and zingy tomato chutney. There was a relaxed pleasant ambience and most important the stadf were pleasant and helpful. Will definitely return.

Best afternoon tea ever! All the food was home made and absolutely delicious. There was plenty of choice and Matt was really lovely. I’ve had lunch and breakfast here before and also a group buffet - all superb. Highly recommended!

Cool interior with a good outside seating area. Great coffee, and we were very impressed with the food. Will be returning very soon!

Generally lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. I have been somewhat disappointed with my last two visits. They seem to charge £17.95 as opposed to the advertised £16.95 for their lunch offer. It's still good value so I didn't complain but this has happened twice. Calamari lacked it's usual flavour and salad garnish was very oily. The spaghetti Bolognese isn't what it used to be either and lacked actual mince. I really hope its a blip and meals go back to how they used to be soon because we do like coming here.

Pizza didn't really have much flavour, the tomato base was almost non existent, and the grease levels were extremely unpalatable. Very disappointing, this isn't even close to what pizza should be like, and I won't be back.

After being let down by another venue in town we decided to try the Juniper Place part of the Welsh House. Absolutely love the vibe in here; the decor, staff, great music. We had Cocktails and Pizzas. I have to say the pizzas were to die for! It's hard to find a good Calzone these days but mine was out of this world. Big shout out to Noah. I can't remember if I gave him a tip or not. I hope I did. He was fabulous as was the lovely young man behind the bar with the long hair and glasses. They made our night.
