The nile in Aberdeenshire

Order is always wrong. Rather if it’s the sauces, or the portions or the quality. They usually forget salad and never remember the drinks, and the staff are rude and obnoxious.

Owner/chef is adding lots a new options with the latest menu. Everything we’ve had has been top notch. +1 star for the homemade Korean BBQ sauce 😊

Really disappointed in this place. Got puddings, cookie dough was very small even though a large was ordered so wouldn’t want to know how small the small would be! Plus it was completely over cooked and burned! It tasted fine but still burned. The waffle was completely undercooked and practically raw and had barely any toppings on it. The only half decent thing which is what gave it the star was the rolo milkshake was actually quite good and tasted good. The actual place was very unprofessional and a mess so that doesn’t look good on the business at all. A real shame actually cause the menu all sounds delicious but would not recommend and will not be going back.

Place is a joke!! Every time I go, the prices has risen and the portion sizes get smaller. Better off with the olive tree. Bring back the original Nile owners!!!

Food took 1 hour and 45 mins to arrive, wasn’t much I ordered and only live a few mins away, got the curry sauce which was just like water.

Excellent for choice plus ice-cream to die for.

I love the food in here, but i usually have problem with the delivery. Last time delivery was late, my drink was missed and my husband received different drinks to his food, and unfortunatelly these things wasn't the first time.

The last three times we have ordered desert's from this place there have been problems. The first of which was that the ice cream was completely melted and the cookie dough was stone cold. Second it came around 2 hours late and had a small error in toppings. Tonight will be the last time we order as it was completely wrong this time. On phoning to explain this we were accused of ordering the items wrong and when we asked for a refund we were told we would have to go to the shop despite paying online!

literally the worst takeaway I've had in ages my pizza was undercooked and tasted off, The chicken nuggets felt like eating my grandas toes and the chips could be used to make a boucy castle. I did like this place but feel its gone way Down hill.

Went to the Nile tonight to get pizza due to powercuts and not being able to cook. The pizzas took 40 minutes and were over cooked and dry and bland. I sat in my car whilst I waited and witnessed four people entering for a prolonged period of time with no masks. The male worker was also seen coming to the front of the shop with no mask on. No evidence of social distancing. On questioning the male worker he stated "it's their choice" to wear a mask or not, despite it still be a legal requirement. Very irresponsible and will not return again.

A kebab that isn't even open when the pubs shut. What a dump. Leave Banchory

Food is good but service is a little poor, many orders were supposed to be 35 to 40 min but went over that to 1 hour or even 1 hour 10 minutes

Ordered 2 dinner kebabs with chips and one chicken wrap with chips. When I got back to the car with my order we discovered there were no chips in the bag. Returned and the young girl was not very apologetic. Waited and she returned with 1 portion of chips, rather than the 3. I gave up waiting and left and the young girl was anything but apologetic. Unfortunately more interested in the boys outside. Poor covid measures - masks on chins and sharing a bottle of drink with someone outside. Very disappointing and waste of money.

Staff is friendly, food always great, icecream is soooooooooooooo nice , if you haven't been there then you should try it they wont let you down 😀👍

Ordered a Nile and a shakes and cakes from the app said would be ready at 19.40pm and when I got there only thing ready was my milkshake then my waffles and pancakes. Not only did my milkshake melt the ice cream that came with my waffles melted. the time I waiting kept getting told constantly will be 5 minutes And 20 minutes went past and was still waiting ended up waiting a hour which was ridiculous. I asked for jalapeños in my wrap but I didn’t expect what looked like half a jar in my wrap which completely spoiled it. the pancakes were also a joke wouldn’t even call them pancakes to be honest i could of bought some from supermarket and shoved maple syrup on for a fraction of the price and they would of tasted better the Nile was definitely better before it changed to shakes and cakes I am never returning for what I got was a waste of money as half of it ended up being chucked as was rubbish If you ever go there don’t ever order pancakes or shakes if your ordering food as it will melt

I phoned the Nile up 20 times to make an order no one replied, they close at 11 pm, who wants a kebab during the day?? Despicable. I’m very upset and I want the normal hours to return. Bring back Fanta the current manager is Shiite !!!! Flip off

Varied menu, friendly staff and you'll never have any trouble parking!

I phoned to chase up a late order and was told the driver had been and gone, the guy also told me said driver had tried phoning me, which was a blatant lie. I didn’t leave my home and had my phone stuck to my face the entire time so above being late, the receptionist lied to cover up their negligence. I can forgive the overpriced food but to be treated so unprofessionally is appalling.

vast improvement chips perfectly cooked great colour nice and crispy, the kebab lamb and chicken marinade brilliant and a nice fresh salad they even rember "no onions" lol

Ordered pizzas and pakora. Pizzas are top notch, especially the meat feast one. Good service and friendly. Only con is the portions aren’t very big when you get the munchie boxes. 4/5 stars

We bought chips n cheese, 1 cheeseburger and a large donar kebab. The food was terrible the chips had a real greasy oily taste and the cheeseburger was the cheapest nastiest burger my wife has ever had. The large Donar kebab was tasteless and more salad than meat. This used to be a great kebab shop but the new folk running it have ruined it.

Food is still good, just not as good as it used to be. Portions are not as generous as they were before. The Calzones have about half the meat and cheese they used to. Customer service has taken a dive as well. Make sure your order is right before going home

We used to get food from The Nile regularly but its gone downhill in recent months. Tonight the food we had delivered was late, luke warm and the chicken parmesan was completely tasteless and incredibly stodgy. Its a shame because the food and service used to be so good.

Ordered the chicken parmesan nile special with creamy cabbage and went down a treat definitely recommended 👌

Fantastic food and desserts great customer service

The food is okay and nothing spectacular. This is the 2and time I have used delivery service and been let down on both occasions. First time an hour late and this time, I asked before ordering the expected delivery time and was told an hour. Again it was late by half an hour, the food was cold and missing my child drink! Tried calling but no answer. Poor delivery service. 🤨

Best kebab shop in Banchory. The fact that it's the only kebab shop in Banchory is rather a moot point. Lovely kebabs, and burgers, and the staff are super friendly too. What's not to love?

Who ever serves you it's always a warm welcome and great service. Had not had a kebab for over 2 years before having one from here and we were not disappointed ! Def going on a regular basis now even though its 23 mile away. Keep it up !

Incredibly disappointed, most of it went in the bucket, & the small amount we did eat gave us both stomachache. Never ever again.

Brilliant service! Very accommodating. Made me a brilliant take away meal, accommodating both, my vegetarian lifestyle and gluten sensitivity. Not many places to get food late on a Thursday in Banchory. The Nile was open so went and had a look. Ordered pizza. Very good pizza, planty of topping, quite large for a "medium", and good price

Top of the range chicken kebabs... chillie sauce is legendary... if you are super hungry or want to share, go for the Nile special... Aye aye aye... good work chaps...
