The Mokapot House in City of London, Westminster

I walk past this place everyday, the doughnuts look delicious, today I saw a doughnut with a pistachio filling spilling out the top. This one doughnut cost me £4.95, I reached my office sat down and bit into this doughnut expecting an explosion of pistachio but I was met with doughnut no filling. Most of the filling was in the packet it came in, as I looked inside I was shocked at the amount of pistachio filling they put in the doughnut. For one doughnut costing £4.95 this was criminal. I returned minutes later to meet the person who served me who was not apologetic, rather was angry at me for requesting a refund. Anyway I got my refund but will never get another over priced doughnut from them again.

Food is amazing - fresh, high quality and healthy options. I come here multiple times a week with colleagues. Can recommend to anyone! Only feedback from my side is that the size of the salad box is very large, quite difficult to finish for many people - hence also sometimes wasting food. It would be great if they could offer the Salad Box in a smaller format (3 instead of 5 salads; they already have the box available as a combination deal with sandwiches), but with the optionality to add proteins. Would love to see this option added to the menu!

Wow…most satisfying meal I’ve had in ages. Despite coming in later in the day the food was super fresh and so yummy. The shop was very clean and well presented. Well done guys, I’m a very happy lady tonight.

Attractive looking cafe with fantastic service! Alas the food looked too healthy for me but my friends enjoyed the hot chocolate quite a lot!

Excellent bakery. I picked up some fantastic Portuguese tarts and a Nutella Donut. I’ll come back again. The manager I found very friendly and just as enthusiastic as myself by the site of the Nutella Donut!

First time in here, and I loved it.

The pain au chocolat, I'm afraid to say, was very dissapointing and especially for the price. It was very big but the pastry was quite plain and there was actually very little chocolate in it. I can't speak for the rest of the food (which looks really nice) but the pain au chocolat is a no from me sadly.

Have been going regularly for the last 2 months. Staff friendly and efficient. The salads and sandwich combo is great value and the salad variety is quite large and very tasty. Had my first coffee today and it was probably the best tasting one in a long line of chains that I have tried. The jam donuts went down a treat and might nip in for a sneaky croissant soon.

Got a sandwich and a muffin for less than £10. Quick and reliable lunch near the office with minimal queue. They also toast the sandwich. There is a sandwich + salad/soup deal

truly the best croissants in central London, perhaps London overall. Fresh daily, huge in size with the crispy soft texture flexing it's buttery muscle. Needs nothing, the plain croissant is king.

Had a great takeaway lunch from the Mokapot house. The chicken wrap and chocolate muffin were excellent and at just under £8 great value for central London.

I am not a vegetarian YET but this food has made me see salads in a whole new light. The cauliflower salad with beetroot was divine and the giant couscous was soooo nice and my first time. I would highly recommend this food for parties or any company functions as I have eaten like the Queen Afia I am.

The lunch was absolutely amazing . I ate to my hearts content. I had vegetables and sandwiches everything was super delicious. Highly recommendable!!!!!!

This is the best place ever, it's like a subway but you have healtier options what to choose to eat. And there are all types of bakery food. Which are very, extremley delicous. I personally like the jam dough nut. The staff are very nice, and are always happy. I personally recommend this place to vegans. Since it has alot of healthy options what you could put on your food. (there's also meat availble) There may not be alot of drinks, but the type of drinks are healthy and really delicous. Like tango for an example. It has no sugar, and no caffine. And they sell it right there. There are more drinks, and hot drinks too. This cafe is very lovley and I love it very, really much. 5 stars.

A really nice coffee shop, delicious coffee and wide selection of sandwiches and salads. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have vegan options pastries and breakfast. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Gagging for 'a cuppa & a fine piece' - my friend's favourite expression when she's in need of a cup of tea or coffee & something sweet to eat! - we came upon this little cafe by sheer luck. Very good coffee, my friend's cake was melt in the mouth delicious & my custard doughnut was probably the best one I've had - the custard was as light as you like. The ladies behind the counter were lovely. I really hope this place does well & if we're exploring the area again we'll pop in.

Where to start!! By far the best grab-and-go in London. Catering for all (Vegan, Veggie, Carns) the menu is diverse, tasty and great value for money. It does get busy between the hours of 12:30/1:30 so if you’re short on time avoid, however the later you go the less choice there is. If you’re looking for something Uber healthy and a chocolate treat to go. This is for sure where your journey should take you. Staff here are simply amazing and never forget a face 👍🏾

Wer in London ist sollte unbedingt hier her. Die Sandwichs sind umwerfend und teingelockt wird man von verführerischem Gebäck im Schaufenster. Aber auch Breakfast und Salt und Bowls sind hier zu bekommen. Alles ist seinen Preis voll wert. Kleiner Laden und kleiner Geheimtip. Mit total lieber Bedienung.

Went the other day to have a quick coffee but left with loads of sandwiches and salads they looked amazing and manager was very nice and helpful and made me the best flat white I ever had with such a beautiful art on it Really impressed will definitely tell everyone I know to give it a try

4 dry pucks of cardboard that try to pass off for falafel, mediocre salad, 10.90, definitely not worth it.

Very good food and excellent service. I love the flat white and the vegan cakes. Very close to St Paul's cathedral. The staff are amazing and friendly. I do recommend the place.

The vegan brownie is one of the best brownie I had for a long time (very tender inside) however the courgette falafel wrap was a bit disappointed, a bit dry. There were only 2 persons during rush hours so service was a bit slow. Will probably not come back to lunch but will still come back for their pastries.

The raspberry & white chocolate brownie is excellent ! But the latte is a little bit sweety 😆

The food from this place is nice. It's become a bit pricey, but still good food. I'll perhaps have to visit a bit less often to save money.

£10.90 for a takeaway salad box at lunchtime exceptionally pricey (hence 3 stars rather than 4) but was good all the same. Service quite surly.

I was going this place for lunch because it had healthy choices in good price. Now they increased the price and decreased the portions in large salad box. A bit disappointing.

Very friendly and some amazing food. Got a white choc and raspberry brownie which was fabulous, but the lemon curd filled muffin was a bit disappointing. Could have been a lot more lemony.

Oh so disappointed. I had been here a few times and told others, thought it was great. Went today only to find that they raised their prices and give much smaller portions of salads than previously. And my £3 jam doughnut was stale. Won’t be returning. What a shame!
