Great bar,friendly atmosphere and great staff,had a great night ,good mixture of customers and some nice background music. 2 pool tables

They’ve just launched a new menu and it looks great! There’s a focus on burgers but does also include other meal options as well. I ordered the New Yorker and it came exactly as advertised and tasted great, though I do wish they had done coleslaw instead of side salad, but otherwise I can’t complain.

If I could give 0 star I would. I usually love karaoke and had heard great things. Toxic masculinity once again ruins my Friday night. Some fun Karaoke turned into a sausage measuring contest. Some fun karaoke turned sour from some simple dancing. From then on our group was targeted. The bouncers took a kareoker out for getting the crowd involved (putting the mic to the crowd). Perhaps the venue would prefer a seated event - maybe a simple chess evening is all they can handle- because anything that seemed to resemble fun lead to aggressive banning. I would like to give un petite shout out to the bored and emasculated bouncer but more so the karaoke host who is the most inmasulated of them all. Please remove yourself from the Andrew tate media and join the real world. Xx

A really nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Prices are a little high on the drinks, but worth it for the nice feel of the place. Food is good as well.

When we arrived we were a bit apprehensive due to the abandoned car in the car park but glad we persevered. we had a great positive upbeat welcome and were given the keys to our room (9), this was on the top floor and was a very large clean room with views over the town, lovely en-suite and plenty of space to spread out.We ate in the bar that serves a good selection of the old classics like burgers, chilli, lasagna, fish , pies etc for a very reasonable price. The meals were cooked to perfection and were obviously freshly made , way above the usual bar meal standard and a credit to the chef.We would definitely come back and stay again if in the area.

Great place to hang out with friends and have fun . This is a very popular place with students and non students. Last time there was a great disco held by one of the university’s societies. Also it is good for playing pool and darts. Above the bar, there are rooms. Because it’s so popular the rooms are not well placed for a quiet night’s sleep at weekend!

This place is a bit run down. It's clean and comfortable, but the shower curtain is stained and should have been thrown out long ago. The bar is open until 10 and was noisy both nights we were there. There was only one person to staff the whole place, so he was run off his legs. Naturally, this made the service less than optimal. Breakfast was with low quality foods, so there is lots to improve. There is free parking though!

The door handle was missing on the inside, the only way to open the door from the inside was to hold the door lock, the door lock on the door was falling off and I'm still waiting for an answer about why we ALL (other people were waiting as well!!) didn't get breakfast (included in the price!) on Sunday morning 24/6/18, that was included in the price. As a family. we waited 45 minutes, made a couple of phone calls to the hotel no. only for it go straight to voicemail. we gave up and left disappointed. In fact, it cost me another £20 to get breakfast in another pub in town...Not the best frame of mind to start a trip home from the north coast of Wales to London!!Another family had a worse time with a very family UNFRIENDLY room and a very hungry 3 years old...Quick enough to take the money, but not with an answer to my phone call... The rating is automatic, so not ours... Be lucky to get a 1

During a stay at the Menai Hotel, I decided to eat here to avoid getting out in hideous weather. The restaurant looks nice and cozy, even if, at first sight, it doesn't look like it has regularly many customers for dinner, since most people seem to come in just for an ale or a fast snack during a chat in the adjacent hall. Food has to be ordered at the bar; weirdly, may I say, since the food is then delivered to the table. Beers choice is obviously very ample, as you would expect from a place like this; food menu is also interesting and well-built. The garlic bread starter is pretty decent, and the battered onion rings are very good, crispy and well-fried. The burgers are good size and very good quality, served with fries and a couple onion rings on top. Sauces and mustards are available at the bar for free.The service is pleasant and efficient, the waiters are very kind and keen. Prices seem right to me, and generally I guess they're average for the place; anyway, the food eaten is well worth the money spent.

Por lo tanto, no hay comida para nosotros hoy aquí!El personal era bastante agradable, la comida era hamburguesas y alternativos - de salchichas congeladas, supongo! No hace falta decir que la izquierda!

Had the best cheese steak here lovely place to eat cheese steak 10x better than Harvey's will b goin back again new menu coming out soon sounds amazing

This place has changed so much! Looking great inside, busier and a great atmosphere! The menu has loads of things to choose from and has really nice veggie options too - not just your token veggie meal! Food is delicious ! Highly recommend! !!
