The Manor in Leeds

Nice course and facilities. Only problem is the amount of kids on the driving range. You can be sat around for half an hour waiting for a bay while they mess about due to the sheer number of them. One of them nearly hit another person waiting due to their poor skill level and general lack of care as the ball ricocheted off the side wall, up and then back to the seating area. The numbers of kids needs controlling. Other than that, it's a well kept course with reasonable membership prices. Guest prices are a little on the high side.

Our wedding day at The Manor on 24th August 2024 was truly unforgettable. The venue exceeded all our expectations. The room was transformed into something more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and the private garden was perfect for photos, complementing the stunning golf course, which provided the ideal setting for our bride and groom shots. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. From the many planning meetings, Rebecca was always available, and no request was too much trouble. The food was exceptional, and every moment felt magical. Choosing The Manor was the best decision—we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Thank you! Mr & Mrs Rothery

Very poor service burgers that where ordered both burnt and inedible had to constantly ask for next course , not good at all

Nice meeting Room. Food provided was excellent and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately no golf for me but it looked fantastic.

Very undulating course and a real test of your golfing abilities there wasn't a flat green on the course and a lot of severe slopes but all in all a really good test for all golfers

Played here in a Yorkshire Union event, great course with fantastic greens, definitely one to play again, the clubhouse was also a great place to be in

The clubhouse has been extended since i last wemt to the manor. There is a great bar and restaurant downstairs and an outside seating area. Didn't eat there but it was a nice place to sit and have a drink. The course was in great condition and a definate challange. A couple of odd holes to be aware of. The 10th is a nightmare if you dont hit straight. There is also another hole (i think 13th) which has a double bend! Staff really friendly. Overall a very enjoyable day.

Fantastic venue for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. All round excellant experience from initial booking to the event. The food and room set up was first class and enjoyed by all. The staff and service recieved was excellant and made our day perfect. Would certainly recommend this venue for any Celebration event.

From start to finish staff at the mannor were so helpful in putting this night together, food was amazing. Special mention to the 2 bar staff working last night who couldn't do enough for us.

We’ve had two parties here now and both times the food was amazing. The staff are perfect, really friendly and accommodating. We shall be back!

Our Silver Wedding/70th birthday event at the Manor on Sunday April 7 couldn't have been better organised, thank you so much to all the staff. Behind the scenes the help and advice from Becky and Starr proved vitally important. Our family and friends really enjoyed themselves and were very appreciative of the excellent buffet, setting and hospitality. In addition the children at the party enjoyed access to the grassy area and let off a bit of steam on one of the rare April days when we experienced some sunshine. We intend to return to the Manor for coffees etc and are recommending the Manor to anyone we know who is planning an event. Once again thanks so much for hosting our Silver Wedding.

We held a charity golf day here and from start to finish it was brilliant all round from Becky and the clubhouse team. Breakfast sandwiches on arrival and even with some cheeky requests for scrambled eggs and salmon the kitchen were more than happy to oblige. The course was in superb condition and afterwards we held the prize presentation. Becky helped us organise a brilliant vocalist to entertain us while we tucked into the BBQ buffet (the sausages were amazing), and then a DJ while we danced into the evening. Highly recommend for any kind of golf day, the team here really look after you and make everything simple leaving you to enjoy the golf and the day.

Had our wedding here on the 27/04/24 and we had the most incredible day! All of the events coordinators could not have been more helpful with all of our crazy questions! The venue is gorgeous as are the grounds, which made for amazing photos by the lake! The venue was set up just how we imagined, if not better! The Manor worked amazingly with our vendors and everything went smoothly! Have to say a massive thank you to all of the event coordinators! Would 100% recommend for any wedding/event!

Just had lunch today, chose sweet potato curry with rice, I was surprised when it arrived very little veg and sweet potato, large portion of rice which came in a mould shape, the rice was very dry and it was set hard in its shape, a bit steep in price. I did mention this to your waitress on duty, but no feedback

Its the first time I've dined at The Manor and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely, tasteful dining areas. The menue wasn't extensive but there was enough to choose from. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection and was reasonable value for money given the quality of the venue. Four of us dined, and we all chose different dishes. Everyone loved the food and the relaxed dining experience. I will definitely be dining there again.

Visited for Sunday lunch today. Staff provided excellent service in a really nice environment. Lunch was very good, enjoyable and plenty of vegetables. My only criticism is that there was only one slice of beef provided. So you have to ration each portion with the good supply of potatoes and vegetables, something to be looked at by the owner/ management team.

As a recently taking up golf, i have really enjoyied using the Manors facilities. A trip After work to the driving range or taking my son on a weekend, has really caught his interest too. Would recommend and will continue to use them

Fantastic Sunday lunch. My only gripe was the mash which looked like it was pureed. Really starchy & not to my liking. Gave you a 5 star review as overall the roast beef was amazing. Service & staff were good.

I've just left the driving range on what was supposed to be a relaxing Sunday evening. Instead, I've left feeling very annoyed: I arrived at 7.45pm, knowing that they close at 8.30 pm with the last balls at 8 pm. I got a large basket thinking I'd just get through what I get through. I've been coming here many years, but the service tonight was something else. The moment I walked in and asked for a large basket, I could tell by the demeanour and facial expression of the member of staff that he wasn't best pleased. I got out onto the range, and there were still more than a handful of people, so I didn't see the big deal. I was reminded of the closing time 3 times during my range session, making me feel rushed and very unwelcome. I was reminded again at 8.20 pm that I only had 5 minutes (should be 10 minutes based on their closing time). At this point, my range session was ruined, and I was so fed up that I just decided to leave what I had left. To top it off, there wasn't a "thanks" from the member of staff as I was leaving. Instead, he followed me to the door with a grumpy face and locked it straight away as if to prove a point. To say that the driving range is a form of therapy for some, never in my life have I experienced such poor customer service and felt so unwelcome. If they were so eager to shoo me out the door, I would have rather they told me they are closing a little earlier today and ask me either to get a small basket or refuse service altogether. Appalling customer service and very disappointed given I've been coming here for years and always had no issues.

Stunning Sunday lunch. Called in for a Sunday lunch and I had the roast beef. The Yorkshire was amazing the beef tender. Vegetables properly cooked and all of it was delicious. Probably the best Sunday roast I’ve had anywhere. On top of it, the staff were amazing and were great with our kids. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return

Great night on New Years Eve with good food and entertainment

Visited the restaurant for lunch with three friends. We selected the meat pie and fish and chips main courses.My meat pie was poor, the crust was extremely hard and over cooked.there was not much meat filling. The mashed potato was powdery and rather firm. The vegetables were ok. I was informed the fish which looked good was dry and again overcooked. An egg cupful sized portion of peas was disappointing The service was poor. The staff were more interested in cleaning vacated table than clearing our empty plates. The venue is good, sadly let down by the food and service

Went to Frank Sinatra tribute night 3 course meal included. Brilliant night. Have booked Whitney Houston tribute night in April.

We had a fabulous meal for our Dads 88th Birthday and the Staff at The Manor were fantastic! They went above and beyond helping Cut the Cake and making sure we all had everything we needed Xx We all loved it and will be back again I'm sure Xx

It was a lovely area but I was extremely mortified by the children of some of the members of the golf club. Extremely arrogant, pompous and disgustingly disrespectful. Me and my partner got lost as we searched for the manor and following the advice from a local we were directed to follow a foot path and walk towards the manor. Upon starting our small trek we encountered 4 children ranging from 7 - 10 who were screaming obscenities to us and launched a golf ball towards our heads (intended assault). The boys then began to follow us to the manor still shouting potty mouth words at us and threatening us with their golf clubs (that I’m assuming ‘papa’ gave them). It was not until I had threatened to call the police that the boys laid off and I was left feeling completely upset and disappointed that these children were raised in an environment where they were not taught to tolerate people of all races and backgrounds. I would heartily implore the golf club owners to ensure that children are not left unattended on their fields to harass and taunt elderly folk looking to enjoy their time Never again

I only use the driving range. £3 for 40 balls. £5.50 for 80 balls. Practice bays nice and tidy and mats in good condition. Playing in a senoirs today so decided to warm up at the range first.

Absolutely incredible experience at the Manor. The staff were soooo kind and high energy. Shoutout to Natalie and the other amazing people behind the counter. The golf course is immaculate and the food was incredible . Highly recommend! 😁

Attended a wedding at the venue and from beginning to end everything was coordinated well and the food, service and staff were all great. A lovely place for wedding photos, just wish the weather had been a bit better so the photographer could have got more with tgd beautiful landscapes of the area.

We were at an event. The food was excellent, the staff were great 👍 only let down was insufficient and experienced bar staff and they were unable to cope with the volume of visitors which meant a long wait for our first drink.

One year on and still excellent food, fast service, good value for money. Well shocked bar. Comfortable chairs.

Best driving range in Leeds, great balls and mats! Only thing down side is there is not Much to aim at. There needs to be yardage markers or flags in the middle section of the range.

Well kept course. Great fairways. Greens were very fast the day we played. Some work been done on improving the 10th hole so was shut but just played hole 1 twice. Course not for the faint hearted as lots of hills

We were at a golden wedding celebration and most of the meals were excellent. However, I was the only one who oredered the vegetarian option. The vegetable roast I ordered turned out to be the thinnest, hardest lasagne I've ever come across, with 2 slices of garlic bread. Apparently the chef who was supposed to make the vegetable roast was off. A terrible substitute I couldn't eat! Certainly not what I ordered. When I complained I was offered a 3bean chilli, then that turned out to be off as well. At least the roast potatoes I filled up on were lovely.

I'm never disappointed with the food and the service here. I had chicken caeser salad and my friend had ham . Plenty of meat and very colourful.

One of the best course in bradford and leeds. Every time i go to play there its always tidy with nice clean fairways and rolled greens. Been playing for over 2 years and seen lot of improvements. Staff is always friendly and range is very good.

Unfortunately we were there after a funeral. It was a very nice venue plenty of room to socialise food was good staff were very pleasant

I've only been to the driving range a few times. Staff all really friendly and welcoming, the night time lighting is mega and at a fiver for a large bucket of balls it's a bargain.
