No food offered when we attended.

Went to say bye to liars, Bar woman with tattoos accused me of purposely cancelling my payment for drinks when was simply a connection problem. Accosted me in the bar area and accused me of trying to rip her off rather than just asking to solve the payment problem like a normal human. Payment didn’t match because I’d given a 10% tip on all drinks and she couldn’t comprehend that potentially was just an innocent mistake. Brought 20 people into the bar on empty night and at this point understand why you’re closing if this is your staffs reaction to payment processing issue.

Dancing shoes are a must for this place. The music is so on point. The Dj knows his stuff🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 It's a vibrant atmosphere and amazing service. It's not tricky to find even if maps make it seem that way. Having walked around in a full circle, and it was literally a stone throw away from where we started off.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Never mind. We meet some lovely people. The guy behind the bar... didn't take his name... (Goldilocks 🤣🤣) Amazing service. Try the Moscow Mule... Try them all. Cocktails here are to die for. I will definitely be returning.

The service was very bad, the bartender with the tattoos gave me a bad feeling and gave me an unacceptable and unpleasant feeling. She let me wait until after 12 o'clock to charge me double

Fantastic low-key spot for excellent tiki drinks in the heart of Manchester. 2-4-1 drinks, but they must be the same item.

As far as I can remember, there was Bon Jovi blasting out the speakers and flames dancing on my cup. No idea what I had for drinks - but it was an awesome night!

No idea do they do Food , but I liked the place, atmosphere music, service, and especially Zombie drink with burning Absynth !

Wanted the stop by for a pint after midnight and the bouncer had an issue with shorts in August. Well… not my problem I’m not spending my money here.

I really wanted to like this place, but we came Friday night and the place literally smelt like vomit, it was pretty empty, the music was not the best and the prices were verrrry expensive (£30 for 2 doubles and 2 shots). There are other places around the same area that I think have way more atmosphere and cheaper drinks.

Super little bar. Great cocktails which are a really good price (especially for Manchester). Bar staff very cool and music is a good mix of stuff.

Nice hidden small bar with good music in Manchester. Went on a Friday and they were playing a good mix of Pop, RnB. Tend to have a slightly older crowd (23+) rather than university freshers if that is what you are looking for. Amazing strawberry daiquiris £11.

Doormen was very friendly. The bar staff Red haired woman in particular covered in tattoos, needs to find a new career as she was very rude. The atmosphere was ok still the music was kool.

Ganska litet men charmigt. Stället är stylat som en tiki bar och serverar stranddrinkar som Pina Coladas och Mai Tais. När jag var där hade de även en DJ som jag tyckte spelare väldigt bra musik. Personalen, från ordningsvakten till bartenderna var alla väldigt trevliga. Skulle dock inte kalla det här för en klubb då det fanns för lite plats för något ordentligt dansgolv.

Hidden gem of Manchester: it’s a cool hidden away bar that offers great cocktails in a unique spot. I had a rum cocktail that was served on fire so both the presentation and quality was immense. Nice time I’m in Manchester I’m definitely coming back to the Liar’s Club.

Me and my friends stumbled upon this fun tiki bar and I would definitely recommend it for a bit of fun. The tunes were unmatched, great vibes - however I think they could do with a DJ because some of the songs went on for a bit too long. There was also a particularly good looking bartender which made the whole experience even better. Good fun vibes!

Came here on a bar crawl as part of a friends graduation the other day. The bartenders were really friendly, and the whole bar had a cosy atmosphere as we enjoyed well crafted cocktails. Their piña colada is especially really good. The management was also pretty sound and was very reasonable with song requests #DojaCat

Came across this bar after having dinner next door and it houses over 100 different rums which the staff (especially James) were very helpful and knowledgable about. If you’re into rum, a beautiful “beach” location and incredible staff make sure you come down and keep an eye out for their new menu and make sure you ask James to help you choose a drink if you’re unsure ;) Also highly recommend trying the best rum on the bar Monymusk 2010, definitely worth the price point if Rum is your drink of choice!

We booked a table for 12/02/22 and unfortunately came down with COVID-19 on 11/02/22. I rang over 6 Times with no answer trying to cancel and my husband emailed. No reply and now we have been charged £20 for not attending. I understand there's a cancellation policy but your website says you are adhering to COVID-19 regulations and then we get penalised for doing a test and following them. We've been coming here for years but we will not bother again. Very disappointed.

Cool place, would recommend the flaming zombie forr a bit of entertainment.

Great Atmosphere, but don't order the cocktails !!. the Daiquiri tasted like battery acid and the p.Star Martini was the same. so Sour and bitter it was awful. The normal drinks like Rum and coke were lovely, but cocktails a big NO GO !!

Always have had fun here with very welcoming and fun staff with a menu that has kept us coming for years.

If I could leave a 0/5 I would. We booked this weeks ago having come from Birmingham and we found out from another bar (who was able to fit us in) that the bar was closed due to a covid outbreak. They didn’t even let us know. Wouldn’t go back.

I booked the Liar's Club for a friends birthday months in advanced due to the aesthetic of the bar and the drinks on the menu. When we arrived last night, we were greeted by a lovely doorman who seemed to be very stressed and overwhelmed with customers and we were seated outside, despite making a booking to sit indoors. The weather was nice so we didn't feel the need to ask to move inside. After scanning the QR code, we were appalled to see that the menu only consisted of 2 cocktails and a few other drink options. This was extremely disappointing as it was a birthday surprise for a friend and there was no prior warning about a reduced menu or that we would be seated outside. If we had known this in advance we would have stayed in the bar we were in previously! Not only that, but the staff were not very pleasant or friendly when we went downstairs to use the bathroom. The doorman was the only pleasant member of staff at the bar and it is a real shame that we had travelled so far for a nice night out in Manchester but did not feel we wanted to spend anymore than 5 minutes here.

They need to get rid of the DJ, the music is absolutely shambles.

Small club with ok music. Got there around half one. One bar but as it wasn't that busy got served quickly. Plenty of other nightclubs in Manchester and wouldn't make it a priority to go here again.

Fantastic. Music was particularly good - non stop Jimmy Buffett. Even those who'd never heard him absolutely loved his songs. Hope you continue to play him and spread the word. He deserves to be known in the UK.

It's got some decent cocktails but I feel the staff need to show more interest. They don't really seem bothered and it has been a bit boring the last few times I have visited. 3 stars are because the cocktails are good, just a shame the place seems a bit flat.

Loud, bassy music, Jamaican-Tropical feel, very nice aesthetic.

Cocktails are so cool and good value for money compared to other places in the area, just keep in mind the place is very small but has loads of character

Great drinks, well informed and courteous staff! The drinks are truly delicious, well worth the money! This review would be a five star, if it wasn't for the overly loud blaring reggae music being played over the sound system. It's a tiki bar, it's there for chill and social. You can't social when you can't hear each other over the music :p Won't stop me coming back, but perhaps some thought can be put into knocking the volume down a bit. Or at least get someone to lower the high end/treble so it's less painful on the ears :)

The man in the door would not let my friend enter. He said he was to drunk, but we have had nothing to drink yet at that point.

Did a cocktail masterclass for a stag do. All the staff were great, but Rob, the host for the Masterclass was brilliant. Tending bar isn't easy, but he did a top class job. Well done to him and the bar, i'd highly Recommend

Went to the science bit hidden upstairs. Pretty nifty. Love the idea. My cocktail tasted basically like a triple rum neat for £10 though I have tastier rums in the house too =(

Great little underground tiki bar with a carribean theme which plays lively rnb music for all ages. 2 cocktails 4 £10 up til 10pm and the bar staff are so welcoming and super fast at whipping up your orders. We went as a group of ladies for a 30th birthday celebration to start the night off but we never left and stayed the entire evening. A fab fun evening to be had with a great DJ mix only fault was toilets smelt rather bad but you don't spend your evening in the loo!

Je suis venu mardi 1.. c était cool . J étais avec un groupe. Je dépense 80 pounds.. Je reviens le lendemain seul pour ma dernière soirée à Manchester. Le mec me laisse pas rentrer alors qu' il m a dit " Hey salut je t ai vu hier mais je peux pas te laisser venir ce soir ". mec. Je voyage seul donc oui je viens boire un verre seul.. c est quoi le problème ? On peut pas venir boire un verre un mercredi seul? Si on arrive dans un pays et on connaît personne? Du coup je suis allé au mojo à côté et au crazy Pedro. Bien plus sympa. La vieille videuse du mojo est super sympa.
