We chose to stay at this hotel for their cigar lounge It was closed however still advertised trip advisor as a cigar lounge. In the past we stayed at The HARI and Lanesborough for their cigar bars and will return.

Lovely bar with great atmosphere. Very attentive helpful staff. We didn't have food but it looked good. Live music (Jazz/Piano) nights.

The food is incredible and they hosted live jazz when we were there on a random Thursday night. Such a vibe, we loved it. Our waitress Valbona was also fantastic :)

My mum and I came to the leopard bar for bar snacks and cocktails, what a fantastic experience. The bar is absolutely beautiful, especially if you are obsessed with leopard print like I am 😍 pictures really don’t do it justice. We had Cajun spiced chips, tempura prawns and chicken. The food was amazing very delicious. And for bar snacks, plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the paw print cocktail not only does it look the part, but it tastes amazing.

Came here with my 9 year old daughter three times during our stay at the Montague on the Green. Even when we'd go out to dinner, we'd wind up back here for a snack. The service is outstanding (thanks, Sam) and the food is spot on. We both loved the Potato Hash with Truffle Mayo. May daughter even got a private virgin mojito making lesson from the awesome bartender.

I was staying in the hotel above the bar during a business trip and stopped by for a late night drink before bed. I ended up spending a couple of hours enjoying the company, stories and delicious cocktails from (the bartender) Joe. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend! P.s. Try out the Abbey Road cocktail, its a Joe authentic and you won't be disappointed :)

I was in town to meet an old friend and we'd decided to visit the cigar lounge for some Cuban cigars. There was a minor snafu with our reservation, but the duty manager went out of his way to sort everything out, going above and beyond to accommodate us. We were able to spend a delightful afternoon chatting about the good old days enjoying some outstanding smokes and beverages. It was the perfect venue for a wonderful afternoon. The service was first class. It was exactly the afternoon I had imagined when we picked the place. It was a highlight of my trip to London. Amazing.

I am writing this review as a longstanding fan of The Montague on the Gardens, not knowing whether to share this...as part of me wants to keep this hidden gem to ourselves. After a busy day treking around meetings in London to the V and A for exhibitions we landed here at the Leopard bar rather hungry on a late Saturday afternnon. Selected the Montague burger and other half had the club sandwich. The overarching and endearing quality of this bar and hotel is the service. Nothing is too much touble, and on a busy Saturday it is more like a private club than an anonymous London hotel. So there you go - for under £100 you can have your little bit of London on a late Satuday afternoon with excellent service and amazing food. Thank you to all the staff including the chef!

I had a fabulous experience last night at the Leopard Bar, tucked between the British Museum and Russell Square inside the Montague on the Gardens hotel. Fun leopard decor transport you out of London, and spacious seating and an impressive bar menu await. Ask the knowledgeable and friendly bartender Joe for his cocktail recommendations (they all looked too good to come to a decision!). He made what I have to call a perfect cocktail, the Principale—whisky, amaretto, vermouth, and a probably a secret ingredient I’m missing. He spent the time talking to me about how he developed it and it was just great fun! Joe makes a flawless classic Old Fashioned, too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Some complimentary bar snacks and the elegant and unique setting make this a great choice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Cheers!

If you are in the museum district of London, treat yourself to this place. Fantastic cigar terrace for those that smoke, separate spaces for those that do not. The bistro is one of the best. Great food and better service. Our waiter, Christopher, was, in my opinion, of 3 star Michelin quality. Attentive, respectful of time and space, never rushing but alwaysj available. He made our evening, the manager ,Luke, was also readily available to support his staff when not instantly available waiting on other customers. Relaxed and polished, this is a place to unwind and be pampered with quality.

We stumbled across the Leopard Lounge when booked in for dinner at the hotel bistro. We were allowed to take our (delicious!) dinner in the glasshouse area of the Lounge which has lovely views over hidden gardens of Bloomsbury. The cocktail menu is extensive, imaginative and delicious and the service very informed and attentive. My whisky cocktail was served in a little glass dome with smoke to infuse it with smoky flavour to compliment the peatiness of the whisky! A very special touch was the jazz musician playing, and I believe on other nights they have a singer. Really felt like a special night and a hidden gem right in the middle of London.

The Leopard bar is the place to be for a wonderful civilised evening. With the beautiful decor you cannot help but celebrate your inner Leopard and sample the vast range of cocktails just ask if your favourite is not there. The bar tenders can make up any recipe. The service is just brilliant and attentive. With music and comfortable arm chairs what better place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Christmas Eve and the Queens speech televised for the entire UK populace including her visitors - and her neighbors, us! The Rubens opened the Leopard bar just for the occasion. We felt like royalty in an African bar with the ambiance set as such. If staying at the Rubens over Christmas this little respite is not to be missed.

Chanced upon this with colleagues after a very intense afternoon’s work - we found it delightful! The lush live music, the leopardiness, the brilliant service and the clever cocktails (I had a Leopard, which was actually spotty) - it was like stepping into a different world, and we will most definitely be back!
