Food was excellent and value, really enjoyed environment

Popped in as kids were getting Hangry. Food selection and quality was genuinely great . Kids had a 2 course meal and partner and I had a burger each. Highly recommend service was pleasant and friendly too. Not sure why TA has it listed as closed as it definitely isn’t

Lovely little pub,we always visit whilst in yarmouth. Staff are very friendly,food is amazing its home made and very fresh never had a bad meal here. Very reasonable prices and decent menu.

Great. Lovely little pub, warm and welcoming, good home-cooked meal - nothing gourmet but exactly what we felt like, and sensibly priced, so we were glad we chose to walk here from where we are staying.

A brilliant pub for a beer. Staff are superb and the atmosphere is traditional pub culture (which is great). Food is fantastic value for money (bolognese for under a tenner, and tasty).

Since being taken over by new owners it's amazing million times better, food is all fresh and amazing, staff morel is so much better and they seem happier, the place feels warmer and much more welcoming. We use to have to walk all the way into town to a nice pub for a decent drink but now it's on our door step. We love this place, drinks are now very reasonable, I belive it has been reduced from the last owners too. Thank you to Heidi, symon and their amazing team for a great visit every time. This pub is exactly what this town needs. Something refreshing. Oh and don't get me started on the beer garden. Wow, just wow. In the summer this is a sun trap and they have live entertainment outside. Highly recommended. I can assure you will not be disappointed. If you want the perfect pub to visit then come here xxx

Very friendly and happy staff not only a very well priced menu the steak was cooked perfectly on both times but by different chefs so to me it has to be 5+ stars⁹

What a lovely friendly pub!! Hadn't been in the Kings for around 30 years.my partner and i were made to feel really welcome on both our visits,and even our two dogs were given a bowl of water and doggie treats.the food was absolutely excellent!! I twice had the gammon,and would recommend it to anyone,good selection of drinks at sensible prices too.a special mention to Shellie who made us feel at home and even made time to make friends with our two dogs.am really looking forward to our next visit,this pub is a MUST visit.😀

Went here yesterday for a meal. And it was fantastic quality and price. Service was very good and would definitely recommend a visit. Finally all staff were very friendly and polite. They are a credit to the owners.

Always pop in when we are on the boat in Yarmouth. Great pub with great home cooked food and ales.

This was the first time since we've visited under the new owners. I spoke with Heidi and she is lovely. The beer festival was on. £4 a pint, the sun was out and we sat in the beer garden. I had a seniors' roast for £8 and it was delicious with four vegetables and the beef was lovely and tender with very nice gravy. Dog friendly. We will be visiting again very soon.

I like ale. The day I visited only one was available. Tropical Deluxe by Howling Hops. Quite interesting but a bit weak (less than 4%). The beer garden is superb. The food looks nice but I didn't have any. They must be doing something right because it's packed solid. I like the clientele, they are lunatics. Very funny people. Good atmosphere, good people, good food. 5 star is they did some strong ales.

Absolutely brilliant pub. The friendliest of welcomes and a real homely feel to it. Bank holiday weekend visit, so it was busy but never overrun. Lovely beer garden and lucky enough to be running a real ale festival, with a great (and local) selection. Made full use of that! The first visit was great, so came back again a couple of days later. It was even better! Food was wonderful both times and genuinely sad to leave. Thank you for a great couple of days. Will be back!

Good, honest, non pretentious quality food, had a great night here with family. Perfectly cooked steak. Everyone in our group of ten said their food was spot on. Will definitely be visiting again when in town.

The Kings Arms was rated 4.7. Which having just eaten there is a little low. The Roast dinner was very nicely cooked, a good variety of veg. The service was quick, polite and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and the prices were reasonable too. I would give it a 4.9 at least. Many thanks Kings Arms. Nigel & Bev.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. The food was so good we were all stuffed. You could tell that food was all fresh and lovingly prepared. We were really happy and would definitely come back!

Found this gem on holiday. About 15min walk from the front. Well worth it. Went for Sunday roast, got there and we had live music, great food and great selection of drinks. Great prices too.

have used this pub many times and food was amazing, was really disappointed that the menu has lost most of its amazing items, found new menu to be boring, the pub and garden was not busy which on a sunny day i have never seen

Well, what can I say! This pub is a little gem, dog friendly, the staff were so welcoming, offering treats and water for our dog. The food was outstanding, all homemade, tasty and great value for money. Beautiful walled beer garden, with plenty of tables and umbrellas in this hot weather. It’s just away from the sea front but well with the 10 min walk! Thanks again for a lovely meal, sorry we didn’t take any pictures, but we were enjoying the food too much.

Chose this as it is away from the sea front in a quiet area and is definitely dog friendly. We took my cousin to lunch and were not disappointed. Parking can be an issue so we found a nearby car park. Excellent service, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. They even turned on their coffee machine for me to have an espresso. Cannot fault them

I ate here about a year back and the food was clearly brought in. I’m so pleased to say that new people have taken over and as well as the pub being aesthetically improved the food is clearly being cooked from fresh with fresh ingredients and being run by a lovely welcoming couple. The place is soooo much better for their arrival!!!

Kitchen staff lovely. Food was great Bar staff lady with black hair on her whilst waiting to be served another customer told the bar lady I was waiting to be served, her answer. "I am only paid minumim wage" then carried on her phone. Think this says it all.

Ordered 3 Sunday roasts, received 2 of pretty poor standard, waited ages for the 3rd to then be bought out half microwaved and half raw. No offer of replacement or apologies from staff. Complete waste of money, had to get a burger up the road. Awful food.

Everything was amazing at our return to the Kings Arms. With new owners in charge you never know what to expect and I must say I was not disappointed. Very friendly and inviting and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was another level, one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Will be back many more times in the future and highly recommended for any occasion.

This place has fallen on its feet recently. It’s been fortunate enough to acquire new ownership that has an incredibly high standard when it comes to food and drink. I ate here last night with friends and had a stunningly well cooked aged sirloin and great accompaniments all had been clearly seasoned. I suppose I can understand the odd bit of discontentment from those missing an old menu if they really enjoyed brought in food - that’s just not what they are going to get here. It’s clearly now going to be all about fresh ingredients/produce all cooked well and served by hospitable people. Recommend it whole heartedly

Fantastic place that was recommended to us. 12 of us turned up as walk ins and they managed to fit us in on a busy Saturday night. We. Moved tables around managed to sit all together. Staff were brilliant and apologised for the delay in getting the food to us but in all honesty it was t a problem as we should have called to check availability. The food when it came was outstanding, well worth the wait. Some of the group even managed somehow to smash their way through waffles and ice cream ( with a bit of help ) Glad we made the trek across town for. Fantastic meal. Probably the best choice of beer in Yarmouth as well. Great pub. Thanks Guys.

My hairdressers were nominated for an award, for a new salon, and the Manager asked if I would like to go. We had cake, which was very nice, and a few drinks, but the food was amazing, the Manager ordered a sharing platter, which was very tasty. I have only pressed the chips button below, as what we had, isn't listed.

Lovely pub very friendly staff. Food first class but took 45 mins + to arrive...had been a huge order in just before ours and staff did apologise and keep us updated. No dogs in the restaurant area and was pouring with rain so we ate in the bar with the dog at our feet. Would definitely recommend this place. Food was all freshly made as you can see from the chicken nuggets and veggie curry. Brilliant veggie and vegan menu. Great value for money.

Real pub food choices, welcoming and friendly service. Food was brought out relatively quickly and we were very satisfied. Desserts good too. As previous reviews, this is a typical old fashioned local, but welcoming to non-locals too. 2 min walk from the Fullers car park.

Family friendly pub visit with the dog for a birthday celebration . Fabulous food menu with generous portions of some of the best pub grub we’ve seen. Specials great, main menu great, loads of vegetarian options. Prices very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. If you can find room for puddings, they are on point too 😂 Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in ages, thanks 🙏

We found this pub on "Happy Cow" as it has excellent review for vegans. We were not disappointed with a decent vegetarian and vegan menu (rather than just the usual vegan burger!) The staff were friendly, the back garden secure so we could let our dogs roam and the food was good. I had the soya fillet sizzler - excellent! My wife had the mixed bean and red lentil chilli which to be honest she was less impressed by. But the chips (curly, sweet potato and various other options) were yummy and had we been staying longer in Great Yarmouth we would have gone back to try some of the other delights on the menu. The food is not sophisticated, but for a vegan having a larger menu to choose from, together with everyone being so friendly, deserves 5 * review.

We visited twice over this weekend, on our first visit we enjoyed a double stacked burger and a prawn sizzler, both were great. We visited again for Sunday lunch, we ordered the 3 courses for £18, all the food was exceptional. Best pub in Yarmouth by a country mile.

We were staying in Great Yarmouth and saw the reviews for the Kings Arms and decided to book for the Sunday Dinner, and it did not disappoint. Great meal, lovely staff and beautiful pub, would definitely recommend.

Lovely town based pub with great beer and food. This place is very dog friendly with plenty of love, water bowls and treats for our four legged friend. Although very busy, the staff were always attentive and the food (we had the steak and ale pie with some lovely fresh vegetables) was fantastic 😋. Well worth a visit, with or without your 🐕

We were looking for a place to have dinner while on a short break with the dog. The staff were very friendly and incredibly efficient. Food was great and with good portion size. Drinks were reasonably priced. The dog was well looked after with treats provided. One of the best pubs I’ve been to in a long while, would thoroughly recommend.

Just took mum for s Sunday roast absolutely brilliant good home cooked plenty of it and hot. Sweet also yummy will definitely go back. Staff friendly and efficient.

Found The Kings Arms through google and walked there for an evening meal. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Dog and kid friendly. Food was really nice and reasonably priced. Ordered Gammon, Egg and Chips, a Chilli Ocn Carne and the kids had Tomato pasta and Jumbo Fish Finger. All food came quick and tasted nice. Washed down with a Madri👌🏻 Halloween decorations were up which added to the look of the restaurant and a really warm log burner to keep us warm. Highly recommend

Great traditional pub. Very welcoming. The garden is beautiful with lots of tables and space Dog friendly. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of vegetarian/vegan food. Very tasty . Will be going back.

This pub is a fantastic little gem. We took a chance being visitors to the area but as soon as we entered we knew we had made the right choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food couldn't be faulted. It was hot and tasty. The portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this pub

What a wonderful proper pub, we were met with a lovely smile and served with a really decent pint of lager. The beer garden is fantastic there's a lot of room with so many different features and a lovely view of the Minister. Everything was so clean, tidy and well presented. We didn't eat but the food constantly coming from the kitchen looked great, we both had a chuckle at seeing chips served in a pint glass but hey it comes with a plate so..... Its dog friendly and the staff were amazing with all of them. We had two very happy afternoons here and its clearly a pub for both locals and tourists. Everyone is welcome. Well done. Next time we are in Great Yarmouth we will return.

Great, traditional pub, everyone really friendly, big family beer garden out the back. Was a bit apprehensive about food at first but was really good. Steak cooked perfectly (I’m a bit of a steak snob) and couldn’t fault it. Would recommend the extra few minutes walk

Went today for Sunday lunch and they were generous portions, reasonable prices and the staff were just BRILLIANT with my little one.

Stopped here for lunch. Really good menu with various light bites. Very good value for money and massive portions. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly and a lovely beer garden.

Me and my family tried here tonight after seeing good reviews of this place online. We are a family of 8 plus a dog and arrived at gone 7.30pm we was told to find a seat and move tables if we need too to accommodate us. The food was the best food I've had in the whole holiday on the Norfolk broads the staff where so friendly and couldn't do enough for us even swapping desserts for my step son when my wife ordered wrong one. My dog left the place a stone heavier as the staff where all so nice and kept giving him treats the kids menus was massive and had plenty of choice and the price of the meals where very good I would 100% recommend this place to any body and of your on the broads it's literally a 5 min walk from yacht station. Just don't try the kings dessert alone as it will easily feed a full family it's HUGE will deffo be returning next time I'm down Norfolk broads

Fantastic garden to enjoy a few beers and a meal. It must take a lot of time to keep things looking so good. Food quality [and portions] are superb. We tried the King burger and Steak & Ale pie in the evening, after seeing the lunches delivered to others earlier in the day. If only it wasn't 3•5 hours away, we'd visit quite often 😪

Found this little pub on Google maps what a little Gem it was 5 min walk from our mooring and easy to find hidden behind the great yarmouth minster church the bar staff were friendly and served with a smile engaged in conversation the wine and beer was chilled fish and chips was lovely and massive had a lovely menu with traditional fare perfect end to a perfect day in great yarmouth highly recommend

Cool little place where we popped in for some pub grub when we had the dog with us. We sat in the beer garden which was quite funky and even had some cool chairs for the children (for once they actually sat and ate!) Friendly enough place (although I was chastised for not wearing a top!) Food portions were good and around £15 per meal, solid pub grub really and dog friendly.

Over rated food, dry chips some were hard, cheesecake was defrosted still warm. Maybe off night, the pie looked good. Beer was top rate, staff friendly. The pub is good and a very good beer garden. As a pub its very good let down by food.
