The King of Prussia in Barnet

Habíamos visitado este lugar hace muchos años, y no nos gustó en absoluto, así que nunca se molestó en volver. Qué sorpresa maravillosa cuando recientemente regresamos con algunos miembros de la familia de visita. ¡Qué transformación! El pub está frente a un espacioso y cómodo conservatorio, y hay varias áreas de bar separadas, algunas para comer, otras más adecuadas para beber y relajarse. Nos gustó tanto que volvimos unas semanas después para una comida. Tienen una gran variedad de cervezas artesanales y especiales, así que eso mantuvo a mi marido ocupado mientras disfrutaba de un refrescante Campari Spritz. El menú de comida es bastante limitado, más aún si eres vegetariano. Dicho esto, su hamburguesa vegetal es una de las mejores que hemos comido, acompañada de patatas fritas bastante buenas. Tuvimos un poco de Montepulciano tinto agradable para acompañar la comida (de una buena selección de vinos). El personal es un activo definitivo. Cada uno de los que encontramos fue encantador: divertido, amable, acogedor. Nuestra factura era de £ 70 que incluye un cargo de servicio de 10 piezas, perfectamente promedio para una comida de pub en Londres con un par de bebidas. Sin duda volveremos!

Fue a tomar una copa de celebración con amigos y familiares, Al llegar 3 / 4 de las mesas estaban reservadas, Cuando se les pidió que se sentaran en una mesa vacía por los juegos se les dijo que la banda se va a establecer (banda llegó 5 minutos antes de que nos fuimos) Así que nos sentamos en el "jardín"?? ? . . . . asientos glorificados del pavimento . . . pedido bebidas y comida en el bar, más tarde los niños fueron a la mesa de juego que estaba directamente a nuestra vista y se les dijo que los niños necesitan ser supervisados si juegan con los discos, ya que son pesados y pueden causar lesiones. Los niños no jugaban con discos y los monitoreábamos constantemente. Justo cuando estábamos a punto de irnos se nos acercó otra mujer del personal, que nos dijo que en realidad necesitamos estar junto a ellos, cuando cuestioné que nos dieron otra información anteriormente ella comenzó a ser agresiva y se dirigió al propietario, supongo, y se quejó, él entonces se acercó a nosotros y fue extremadamente descortés sugirió que el personal necesita cuidar a nuestros hijos (ningún miembro del personal nunca se acercó a ellos mientras estaban jugando) , cuando le expliqué que no habría sucedido si se nos diera la información correcta desde el principio se fue ... Una vez que estábamos listos para salir (aproximadamente 5 minutos después de este incidente) 3 miembros del personal CORREN a nosotros bloqueando nuestra salida diciendo que había bebidas puestas en nuestra mesa y necesitábamos pagar! Pedimos nuestras bebidas y comida en el bar! Cuando se dieron cuenta de su error, no ofrecieron disculpas. Para cuando todos nos fuimos las mesas reservadas todavía estaban vacías! ¡Qué decepción y pérdida de mi dinero y tiempo! ¡La hora de mi vida nunca volveré! Pero tengo que decir que la comida llegó rápidamente y la pizza era palpable!

Recibí un correo electrónico para la cena asada a mitad de precio debido al lanzamiento del nuevo menú de asado - no había estado allí por un tiempo, así que aunque lo probaríamos. Una pequeña porción de pollo, (menos de un cuarto) 3 papas asadas pequeñas, 1 chirivía, un poco de col y un pudín plano de Yorkshire. Pagué £ 10 mitad de precio por esto y me sorprendió el tamaño de la porción y la calidad (también tengo que esperar 30 minutos) si hubiera pagado el precio completo creo que habría llamado a la policía, ya que habría sido criminal. La oferta debería haber sido comidas a mitad de precio disponibles por la mitad del precio. No volverá.

Una gran variedad de cervezas y cervezas es lo primero que me metió aquí. El menú no era masivo, pero los platos estaban bien pensados y bien preparados con porciones generosas. El personal es amable y agradable, lo que te hace sentir muy bienvenido, y tienen una gran pila de juegos de fiesta disponibles para usar en tu mesa, además de otras características, incluida una máquina de discos gratis. En general, el lugar tenía un ambiente muy agradable, relajado.

dont get the bavette steak.....very,very chewy, bland and tasteless. should have seared it on both sides first ....which it wasnt.

Good flavoursome food, excellent friendly service , nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. Was quite busy when we visited on Easter Day which was a recommendation in itself, but this did not seem to affect the quality of the service

Friendly service and dog friendly. Alyssa made us feel very welcome with our dog. She recommended some good food and wine. Would recommend as a place to meet friends for a drink and some food (with or without your dog!)

We called in for a beer on the way to our hotel in Finchley after a day exploring London. What a great place. Fantastic selection of beers on tap, and we feel upon wings Wednesday. 10 wings for £6. Bargain... and they tasted beautiful. Pub has a great chilled out and relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back.

I have previously visited and reviewed this wonderful Pub. My darling wife and I were again visiting Finchley to see family and stayed in the Travelodge above. The ambience and music is excellent. Both the food and drinks menus are extensive and interesting. We dined as a family twice over our weekend and I spent some solo time at the bar. The staff are very friendly, efficient, and entertaining. The management appear to be constantly making considered and worthwhile upgrades. I look forward to returning.

Popped in for lunch during working hours. Lovely decor, very helpful and friendly service and delicious food. We both had pizza, they were fresh and very tasty

Staying in the Travelodge, so only a very feeble stones throw away. Have been here many times whilst staying in London. Love the atmosphere and ambience. Bar service is great and good is delicious pub grub. One time we had a table booking issue, mistakes happen, and it was sorted out more than satisfactorily by the Manager which is what counts most when any customer issue arises. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Friendly bar that does a great pizza and good selection of beers and ciders. 5 min walk from Finchley Central tube station. Good spot for pre-match if heading to Saracens StoneX stadium.

While spending a long weekend in Finchley Church End, my beautiful young bride and I stayed in the Travelodge above and so this bar and restaurant was very convenient. It turned out that it was a fabulous choice! The drinks and food selection are great with quality to match. The ambience is excellent with a high quality music playlist at appropriate volume. Even better than the above aspects, the staff are superb. They are attentive, witty, charming and efficient. I can't recommend this venue highly enough and I look forward to returning.

What an amenity. Craft beer in a relaxed space with young staff who are friendly and who also appear to be well-motivated. The pizza dough is first class- strong enough to not get sloppy under the toppings, but puffs up in no time and has great texture and flavour in the eating. My only caveat would be that I would like to see some more traditional toppings like quattro stagioni and pepperoni. The craze for funky toppings is getting a bit out of hand, although, to be fair, I've seen even funkier toppings at other places. Serves till 22:00, which is great if you rock up at the Travelodge next door a bit late in the evening.

Stumbled across this pub as we were staying next door at the Travelodge Hotel. Great atmosphere and good selection of ales and craft beers with a shuffleboard table which was addicting!! The staff were lovely too and we wished we were staying an extra night so that we could have gone back here!

Nasty food, untrained uninterested staff... rubbish strewn all over the outside eating area...this place needs a manager with a commitment to raise the game. Won't last long.

Following a bad experience last year we gave King of Prussia another chance and we’re pleased we did. The pizzas were delicious and the service fantastic, we’ll be back.

Good section of drinks. Pizzas are good. Food is quite expensive but £7 for a few peppers is an absolute rip off! (See picture)

Having lived in Finchley for 5 years, we were very pleased that we now have a new local that we love. The Pizza's are really incredible, and very good value. The decor is very homely and we loved that there is a wonderful outdoor space. In all we will be visiting very frequently !
